Hitoshi was furious.

Not only was this guy threatening the entire festival and with it Eri's happiness, but he was also clearly as stubborn as every other low level villain he'd ever encountered.

"Just turn around and walk away."

Gentle Criminal laughed.

The smaller woman next to him gasped suddenly.

"What is it, La Brava?"

"It's him! It's that scary kid from the Sports Festival!"

The villain turned back to inspect him before a few seconds later his eyes widened.

"The brainwasher!" He cried out in terror.

Hitoshi exhaled in annoyance.

"My name is Mindjack."

"Run La Brava!"

The two villains took off down the street.

"Hey!"

"Gently rebound!"

Before he even had time to react, a clear wall appeared in front of him; he hit it at speed and quickly found himself flying backwards as he was bounced backwards by the obstruction.

He landed hard on the pavement, his arms getting scratched up with road rash, his jeans faring no better.

"Damn it."

Picking himself up with a wince, he continued his pursuit, if not with a slight limp.

By time he arrived at the construction site he could barely breathe, his lungs burning after the miles ran.

"End your pursuit and I will let you go."

Hitoshi looked around trying to spot them.

"I can't do that."

"And why is that?"

"There's a little girl who needs this festival more than you could possibly imagine. My Papa reckons that one day she could see me as a brother, but even if she doesn't, I wouldn't be able to call myself a hero if I didn't at least try and save the festival for her."

"Kids need to learn that they can't always get what they want."

"YOU SHUT THE HELL UP!" He roared.

"Observe how quick the so called hero is to anger, La Brava; these people are all the same."

"Get down here!"

A flash caught his attention out the corner of his eye. He turned quickly to find Gentle Criminal stood atop the first level of support beams.

Throwing out a length of his capture weapon and looped it round the structure. Taking a running start he swooped up towards him.

"Elasticity!"

The beam began to wobble.

"Gentle!" The woman screamed.

And he soon found out why.

His swing had not taken into account the new movement of the beam due to it's altered state and so, as he reached it...

The steel beam struck him hard causing him to cry out.

He heard both the villains gasp.

"Guh..."

His capture weapon slid from the structure and he found himself falling; seconds later he made contact with the ground.

Unconsciousness drowned him.

"Hello boys."

Both he and Deku turned with a smile as their Aunt walked over.

"Where's the purple one?"

His cousin nervously rubbed the back of his neck.

"He went out to buy some replacement rope nearly an hour ago but he hasn't come back yet."

Worry was obvious on both of their faces.

"DEKU!"

They turned to find Ochaco sprinting over. She shoved a phone screen towards them.

Their eyes widened.

There on the livestream, lay Hitoshi, a large cut pouring blood from a gash on his hairline and deeply unconscious.

The villain, that tea guy from the weird online videos, was on his knees beside their cousin seeming very scared and panicked.

Kacchan's phone began to vibrate.

He watched his mouth turn up in a growl as he put the device to his ear.

"You better turn that camera off right now and tell me where the hell you are so I can rip you apart! No one touches my fucking family you pathetic waste of oxygen!"

"La Brava, the camera." Came a voice which had moved away from the phone, clearly the Villain's before...

"I-I didn't mean to hurt him. I never meant to hurt anyone, that was never my intention."

"Just wait, I'm going to-."

"There's no time for that!" Gentle Criminal interrupted. "Your friend, he needs help... medical assistance."

Aunt Nem went to rush off.

He quickly grabbed her wrist.

"You can't report this."

"Zuku..."

"We can go get Toshi and bring him to Recovery Girl, but the festival needs to go ahead as normal."

"But-."

"If it doesn't then Eri would be sad, and Hitoshi would never speak to us again."

"Please!" Kacchan added.

She groaned.

"Fine, but I'm telling Zashi and Sho."

They both gave a nod before sprinting off.

Thanks to Kacchan's blasts, the two of them made it to the construction site in record time.

The scene was much the same.

Gentle Criminal was crouched beside Toshi, his hand resting on his back, while he and the woman, 'La Brava' as he had referred to her as, seemed to be engaged in a heated argument.

"But your plans! Our plan! You can't just let it end here! You can't just give up!"

"La Brava..."

"No! No, I won't let them take you!"

She rushed over.

"I love you!"

Suddenly a pink glow appeared around the pair.

"Kacchan!"

"I know!"

His cousin raced over to Toshi and carefully moved him clear.

"Hey Purple Hair? Toshi?" He attempted without success. "Shit!"

"You okay getting him back to UA?"

"I'll be fine, Deku, you just deal with these clowns."

He nodded.

Kacchan secured Hitoshi on his back before turning back to him once again.

"Oh, and give them one from me too, for Toshi."

His expression hardened before he replied with a wordless nod.

And with that, Kacchan raced off.

He tried to mask his worry, his fear, but he knew it still read on his face like a book. Feeling his cousin so boneless against his back... it ate at him. Despite knowing Toshi was a hero too, and that he didn't need someone there to protect him, the fact that they weren't made him feel like trash.

A light mumble had his eyes widening, his mouth opening in a gasp.

"Tosh? Toshi?!"

"E-e-..." His cousin started violently coughing.

"Hey... shh, shh, shh..." He cood softly. "It's okay, just relax, you're safe."

But that clearly wasn't Hitoshi's concern.

"E-Eri's festival. You have t-to save it."

"You already have. You did good."

Toshi's head came to rest on his shoulder, his light breaths tickling the back of his neck.

"D-didn't do anything."

His expression seemed a little panicked.

"Where's Zuku?"

"He's finishing up with that Gentle prick."

"He okay?" The sleepy voice asked.

Kacchan smiled softly.

"He's gonna' be fine, Tosh, just focus on yourself."

"Never been very good at that." His cousin smirked.

"Well there's always time to start."

"Mmm, I'm tired."

"Your Dad and Papa will wanna' see you awake, you know what they're like when they get worried; so just hang in there, we're nearly back at UA."

Hitoshi smiled.

"Okay."

"Good, now hold on tight."

With a blast, they were off once again.
