They first met in a bar in Iowa, then they bumped into each other on there way to Kirk's test. And again at the test, finally getting to know each other when the were falling to there doom on Vulcan. Can they learn to love?

Kirk catches a non-deadly virus, but is allergic to the cure (naturally). He has to tough it out in sickbay, but the fever is bad, and the symptoms are worse. His crew tries to make him as comfortable as possible.
