It was a normal day at the gates of Orario. People came and went through while the guards did their security checks. One by one until it was the turn of a white haired boy. The guard looked at him as he began the procedure once more.
???: What is your business in Orario, boy?
AN: The sword is just sheathed on his back.
Bell: Bell Cranel. I've come here to be an adventurer.
The guard took one look at him and sighed.
???: (Another one? I don't even want to imagine how the dungeon would chew him up.) I'm Hashana, and I'll just need to see you bag for any questionable items.
Bell agreed and showed it to him. He checks inside only to find money, clothes and food among other things that were not a threat. He put all the items back and handed the bag to Bell.
Hashana: Alright, looks fine. Now just check, you don't have a falna, correct?
Bell: I don't.
Hashana: And you dont plan to harm this city in any way?
Bell: No?
The last question seemed an odd one to ask him.
Hashana: Then that takes care of everything. Just one small entrance fee for permanent residence and you're all set.
Bell nodded and gave him the amount required.
Hashana: Thank you, and welcome to Orario.
He gave the boy a smile which Bell returned.
Bell: Thank you very much.
And with that, Bell made his way inside to start his life in the city. Suddenly he heard a voice in his mind.
???: [That entrance fee left a dent in our budget. We've only got around 30,000 valid left to work with.]
Bell: [Calm down, Icarus, we just need enough to last us until we find a god to join. That's what you said, remember?]
Icarus: [We better not waste any time then.]
Bell nodded mentally before searching around. He decided to ask around for people's opinions when he found a blue haired man carrying some bags.
Bell: Excuse me, sir? Do you happen to know any gods that are looking for members?
The blue haired man turned to him.
???: Are you not able to ask that at the guild?
Bell: Oh, I'm sorry. It's just I arrived to Orario not long ago, so I'm not familiar with these things. Oh, I'm Bell by the way.
Miach: Miach, and I understand that. The guild itself is just up the road from here. Though, to answer your question about gods, my Familia is open to more members.
Bell took a look at the man and widened his eyes at what he said.
Bell: Wait, so you're a god?!
Miach: I am indeed, sorry I didn't mention it sooner.
Bell: No, it's no trouble at all, you just surprised me. So, you're looking for new members?
Miach: I am, but I should warn you that my Familia might not be the best of ideas.
Bell: Why's that?
Miach: To put it simply, we're currently in deep debt to another Familia. Many of my members already left because of it, and many others applicants are intimidated my the debt to join.
Bell: If I can ask, why are you in debt to begin with?
Miach: It was one of my children. An accident occurred in the dungeon that left them gravely injured. I pleaded to have them get the proper treatment which is where the debt came from.
Bell thought it to himself before nodding.
Bell: I see, well then I've decided.
Miach raised an eyebrow to the boy.
Bell: Please allow me to join you.
Miach: But what about our condition? Doesn't it bother you?
Bell: Not at all, in fact, it's all the more reason to join you. A god that's willing to give up everything for their children is a god worth serving. All those who abandoned you never belonged to begin with.
Miach: I'm touched by your words, but I just want to make sure you're absolutely fine with this.
Bell: Positive.
Miach: Very well then. Follow me, I'll lead you to where we're headquartered.
He lead them to a small place called the "Blue Pharmacy" and inside was a brown haired chienthrope girl working the front desk.
Miach: I'm back, Naaza.
Naaza: Lord Miach.
She looked next to him and saw Bell.
Naaza: A friend of yours?
Miach: And soon to be Familia member.
Her eyes widened when she heard this.
Naaza: Is it true, are you really joining?!
Bell: I am. After hearing about this place, I knew it was a Familia worth joining. My name is Bell by the way.
Naaza: I'm Naaza. Thank you very much!! With another adventurer, we can collect ingredients from the dungeon more easily now!
Bell: I'm happy to help.
Miach: This way, Bell. I'll give you your blessing.
He led Bell to the back and seated him backwards on a chair. Bell took his shirt off and showed the god his back as Miach got to work.

Development Abilities
Needless to say, Miach was bug eyed when he saw what Bell had. A fresh adventurer and he had 3 skills!
Miach: What is this?! How can you have 3 skills when you're just starting?!
Icarus: [Probably a good idea to tell him.]
Bell: Good idea.
Miach was confused at why Bell said that. It was like there was someone else here.
Bell: I guess I should've said this sooner, but now is as good of a time as any. He raised his hand and a strange orb-like object appeared right above it.
AN: I'll just make do with this.
Miach: What is that?!
Icarus: It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Lord Miach. I'm Icarus, a ghost. More precisely, I'm Bell's ghost.
This confused the god as this wasn't what he thought a ghost would look like.
Miach: Oh, I see...
Icarus: I'm not that kind of ghost, if that's what you're thinking. That's just the term for my companionship with Bell here. You can see from his skills that one is called guardian.
Miach took the paper of the data he copied from Bell's back and nodded.
Icarus: Well, when one is blessed by the light, they then become what is called a guardian. Their companion is also called a ghost which is what I am with Bell.
Miach: So, you're a "guardian?"
Bell: Yeah. If you want to ask about my past, I can't really tell you much.
Miach: Why?
Bell: Because I don't remember it.
Miach: What? Why not?
Icarus: That's partly my doing. You see, my job is searching for the one I'm meant to assist. Bell was already dead when I found him. I revived him and we set out on a new life together.
Bell: He's pretty much been with me since then.
Miach: So let me get this straight, you were dead, and he resurrected you?
They both nodded as Miach sighed.
Miach: That's certainly a lot to process. When you said you found him, how old was he even?
Icarus: He was 9 when I found him. By now, he's 14, but that's the way guardians live. Once reborn, they have no recollection of their past life.
Miach: That's no different from mortals reincarnating.
Icarus: In any case, that's our story.
Miach: At least the shock is over. Well, I'm happy to welcome you both to the Miach Familia.
Bell: Thank you for having us.
Icarus then vanished from sight as the two went back out where they saw Naaza finishing her business with another customer. She turned to them and smiled.
Naaza: So, is it finished?
Miach: It is, now he just has to register at the guild.
He turned to Bell.
Miach: You remember where it was, right?
Bell: Yeah, it's down the street, a left and a right, the big building.
Miach: Mhm. We'll see you later.
Bell: Yup, bye!
He then made his way to the guild, which wasn't that long of a walk. Unknown to him, his body felt a strange sensation that caused him to pause.
Icarus: [That was a gaze. Someone was watching you.]
Bell: [Yeah, I definitely felt it.]
He shook it off and continued to the guild. Meanwhile, a certain goddess was looking down at the city from her tower who was none other than the goddess, Freya.
Freya: (That one is interesting. I should keep an eye on him.)
Back with Bell, he eventually found the guild and went inside. After waiting in line, he went up to the receptionist and took his turn.
Eina: Hello, my name is Eina. How may I help you?
Bell: Hello, my name is Bell and I'd like to register as an adventurer.
Eina: Alright, if you'd fill out this form for me?
He too it and did as asked. 5 short minutes passed before Bell returned it to the half-elf.
Eina: Bell Cranel... Miach Familia?
Bell: Is that a problem?
Eina: No but, you are aware of their status, right?
Bell: I am, but it's no bother to me.
Eina: If that's the case, then you're all set to begin.
Bell: Great!
Icarus: [You should probably ask for information about the dungeon. Better safe than sorry.]
Bell nodded mentally and went to ask.
Bell/Eina: May I ask for your help in teaching me about the dungeon?/If you want, I can give you some basic classes about the dungeon.
The both looked at each other when they heard each other speak. Bell was glad that she was fine with the idea while Eina was relieved that she wasn't dealing with some hothead eager to throw their life away. She led him into a private room where she began teaching Bell about the first 6 floors of the dungeon. They spent several hours in there, mostly from Bell taking in as much information as he could while Icarus documented what Eina was saying.
Eina: Alright, I think that should do for now. It's starting to get rather late.
Bell: Yeah, thanks again for everything.
Eina: No, I should be thanking you. Most would've already tried to go down to the dungeon by now, but you were willing to learn about what's there before going in.
Bell: Might as well be prepared.
Eina: You're clear to start tomorrow. Just be safe.
Bell: I will, no lower than floor 5.
Eina: Good. Also, I should mention that you can ask for an advisor whenever you need help.
Bell: Are you available? You've been a big help to me.
She smiled before nodding at him.
Eina: I am, and I'd be glad to be your advisor.
Bell: Great, well, I'll see you, Miss Eina.
Eina: Bye, Bell.
They said their goodbyes as Bell left the guild. During the class, she asked if he had the proper gear to go, and he said he was already fine with that. After some time, he returned.
Bell: I'm back!!
Miach: Welcome back.
Naaza: Hello, Bell. Did everything work out?
Bell: Yup, I'm good to go tomorrow.
Miach: Let's celebrate this properly.
Naaza: Mhm.
The three of them spent the night celebrating their new member. Naaza was able to cook a special meal for everyone and the two men enjoyed her food.
The next day, Bell got ready to tackle the dungeon for the first time. He ate breakfast and put his gear on before saying goodbye to Miach and Naaza, who were busy getting the store ready for the day.
Bell: I'm going now!
Miach: Good luck, Bell.
Naaza: Stay safe!
The boy nodded before making his way to the guild. It was relatively early, but he saw Eina preparing some papers before turning to him.
Eina: Good morning, Bell.
Bell: I'll be heading down to the dungeon.
Eina: Just remember to watch yourself down there.
Bell: I will!
He said goodbye and went to the entrance. There was some stairs to climb down before he found himself on the first floor. As soon as he stepped down there, he felt something wrong immediately.
Bell: ?! Icarus!
Icarus: [Yeah, I feel it too.]
Bell: It's like I'm being choked!
Icarus: [We need to be extra careful here. I don't think we'll be having the same luxuries as we normally would on the surface.]
He nodded as he put himself on greater guard then before. He didn't have to go far before he heard the walls crack around him revealing the spawning of several goblins.
Bell: *Draws Sword* Here goes!
Slash*
Slash*
Slash*
Bell did his best to avoid them while also finding openings to attack. Thankfully, the monsters were simple to deal with, even if they were stronger down here. He picked up the stones they dropped and put them in his pouch before continuing. .
Timeskip 8 hours.
Bell cut down a final group of kobolds before Icarus came out to store the magic stones.
Icarus: Alright, neither your pouch nor I can store anymore of these stones. It's time for us to head back up.
Bell: Sure.
Icarus vanished from sight again as Bell made his was back to the surface. It wasn't too long, but he was on floor 4 right now. He wasn't in too much danger since he was there all of 15 minutes after not finding any monsters on floor 3. After returning to the surface, he made his way to the guild to give a report to Eina. With the half-elf, she was worried sick about Bell. Words couldn't describe the immense relief she felt when she saw him practically unharmed after nearly 8 hours.
Eina: Bell, are you doing okay?
Bell: Yeah, just dirty from all the monster blood.
Eina: That's a relief. So, how far down did you go?
Bell: Only floor 4, but I wasn't on that floor for long. I ran out of space for magic stones.
Eina: *Sigh* In any case, I'm glad you're safe. You can cash in your stones in that counter there.
Bell thanked her before walking over to the exchange station. He emptied his bags that he had Icarus take out before he went back up. The employee behind was surprised by the sheer amount of stones the boy had.
Guild Staff A: Y-You're total is 74,900 valis.
Bell: Thank you, sir.
The adventurers behind him were shocked to hear the boy gained that much. Bell went back to Eina to show her how much he made.
Bell: Check it out, over 70,000 valid. Pretty good for my first day, huh?
The half-elf, along with the rest of the room, were shocked when the boy said that.
Adventurer A: He made that much on his first day?!
Adventurer B: That's crazy!
Eina: W-Wow, that's impressive.
Bell: Thanks, I'll see you tomorrow!
Eina: Mhm.
They said their goodbyes before Bell left for his home. Rumors about a white haired rookie bringing in the cash quickly spread throughout the city. Eventually it reached some of the higher ranked Familias in the city.
Back with Bell, he returned to Blue Pharmacy eager to show everyone how well he did
Slam*
Bell: Lord Miach, Naaza!! Check out how much money I made today!
Unfortunately for the two, the were having a moment and were about to have a tender kiss before Bell interrupted them.
AN: Yeah, I'm having Miach and Naaz in a relationship in advance.
Bell: Oh, sorry.
He gave a nervous laugh as the two were red in the face.
Miach: *Cough* It's fine. Anyways, you had something to show us?
Bell nodded and showed the two the huge bag of valis he got from the guild today. The two had wide eyes when they saw the bag.
Miach: How much is this?
Bell: 74,900 valis.
Naaza: Incredible! You're amazing, Bell!!
Miach: Indeed, this is very impressive for your first day.
Bell: Thanks you guys.
The three of them celebrated once more for Bell's first dive and for the huge bag of valis he brought back. And so, the next chapter of Bell's life begins.
AN: And that ends the first chapter of this new story. I really couldn't help myself with this one. The idea was just too much for me not to do it. Also, this crossover is quite limited so I guess I'll put in my piece.
Anyways, thanks to everyone for reading this. Hope you enjoyed and I'll see you in the next one.
