When Beth and Noah's escape from Grady goes awry, no one finds Noah to learn where Beth is. Amanda Shepherd is forced to intervene with the corruption at Grady, but Beth's too damaged to cope with life in the place where she lost so much. Finding Beth's family is a long shot, but Amanda feels like she owes it to her to at least try.
