Paul knows he should get up. Yet, he still doesn't want to move. He can hear the faint sounds of Rick and Michonne in the kitchen downstairs, and he's tucked under the sheets of the bed, warm and content.

He didn't need to look up to know, simply know that Negan's bat was pointed at his face, its ugly shadow caressing the dirt in front of him.
