This is my first piece ever, and it's much harder than I imagined it would be. I'm inspired by Rick and Michonne's relationship, and wanted to explore some of the feelings Michonne could have had after the escape from Terminus. Hope to continue writing and improving!

This story has been circulating in my head for so long. It's just that I have seen the characters go through hell and yet they do not get any relief, of any sort. My story is a one-shot. It is pure fiction, so I intend on going overboard with possibilities that could never happen otherwise. I just want to see the characters happy and relaxed for a while.

After rescuing Beth from Grady, the group travels north to Jersey. But they're still reeling from death and disappointment and they all need something normal so that they can start living again.

Beth Greene thought she was safe, thought that everything would be fine. She was back with her family and leaving this prison in disguise of a hospital. She had been taken, she knew that, but now she was free. But what came next shocked the whole group, left her lover sobbing, her sister distraught and left herself... dead. Or so it seemed..

She survived, and only Daryl got it. (In other words, the number of times Beth Greene proved herself worthy and shocked the group excluding Daryl.)
