One-Shot inspired by the latest episode "Isolation". I decided to give Beth/Rick or BRICK a shot. What if being isolate actually brought Beth and Rick together.

AU after Season 3 (Has nothing to do with the sickness in Season 4). Daryl Dixon had always been a healthy man. Even as a child, he rarely got sick and that had been a miracle considering the shithole he and his family had lived in. He supposed he had that period of his life to thank for making his immune system so resilient. Much help that was now.

After the fight with Tyrese, Rick realizes there are things he and Daryl need to clear up. Namely, when it comes to Daryl putting himself in harm's way at the drop of the hat, taking the hit when it should be someone else. Rick wants Daryl to know he's more to them than that. Daryl saw red. Why would Carol cover for a monster? He didn't care Carl was a kid, he was a heartless monster and it was time somebody told him. Rick obviously couldn't- or wouldn't- but it didn't matter, because Daryl had something to say to the heartless son of the sheriff, something Rick should've said months ago. Sometimes, the truth hurts like a bitch.

No fancy summary on this one so uh... Warnings and stuff inside. I'd advise you to pay attention to them and follow if you are to read this story. It differs and is somewhat darker than my past Walking Dead fanfics.

Written for the USS Caryl prompt challenge. Takes place between season3 and 4. Carol learns how to drive the motorcycle and how to shoot the cross bow. She also ends up saving Daryl's life during a run for supplies. Slight AU. Rated T for walker kills...- -

Chaos. It was the only thing you could say to describe it. A blur of pain and torture, screams and shouts. This time it truly did feel like the end of it all. The prison is under attack from the Governor and everyone is forced to flee. With the group split Beth finds herself reliant upon Daryl for survival but is he up for the challenge or will his own demons destroy them both?

Daryl deals with Carol being angry at him and the return of the Governor. The group finds a new home and faces new challenges. Caryl all the way.
