this is where season three of Walking Dead left off; Daryl is struggling with himself in multiple ways; he doesn't know how to cope with Merle's recent death, or how to develop more serious and closer relationships with others. When the group comes across someone named Thea, Daryl finds himself forced to face not only his own inner issues, but something much more life-changing.

AU Rick and Michonne carry their own baggage, both divorced from their partners. The two of them are forced to grow for the better just to get further and not get left behind in the past. Finding some solace in each other's company at a bar, they struggle to see if there's any hope left in either of them.

AU of "This Sorrowful Life": Michonne hadn't felt so close to another human being since her boyfriend died in the beginning of the ZA. Merle had never felt so close to another human being before. When the two bond over their trip to the farm store, where the inevitable ambush awaits, they have to wonder just what that means. Merle/Michonne.

The men can help Lori and take them somewhere safe. Carol has no choice but to go along with them as its the only way to save a dying Lori. But has she saved her and put them in more danger? Dark!

Running from a herd of geeks, Daryl triggered a trap. The shock wave of the explosion knocked him out. Coming to missing one of his five senses, Daryl has to adapt in order to survive. The group and Rick have his back, maybe that will be enough... Rick/Daryl
