For almost an hour they sat in an almost silent atmosphere. They only spoke when Glenn made some random comment or voiced whatever was on his mind. Daryl barely made any attempt to talk back but he was amused. This book was stupid and he craved Glenn's stupid comments. He wouldn't admit that though.

After nearly a year on the run, a young mother and her two children stumble upon the prison. Despite hesitance and much distrust, the trio is given a chance to prove their worth to the Prison Group. But there's one girl, Lucy McIntosh, who is determined to reach out to him in hopes to open his heart and show him he can love again. The question to be asked here is: Will he let her?

When they left Merele Dixion he didn't expect to live and he sure didn't expect to find someone who he could actually stand being around. But for some reason fate seemed to have other plans. Sorry summary sucks! First fan fic. Maybe I can update a better one later. Eventually A Daryl and OC.

After the lose of his brother, how will Daryl cope with all these emotions he's feeling, along with the ones he is feeling for Carol. Is it love? Is it platonic?
