Bell was now ready to face the lower world... at least he would have if Hades didn't stop him.

Hades: Wait, Bell!

Bell: Hmm?

Hades: Take this.

He hands Bell an envelope.

Hades: Give this to my brother Zeus. It will explain most questions he will likely ask you.

Bell: Anything else?

Hades: Nope, you can go now.

And now... Bell was ready to face the lower world. He stepped through the gate which was more of a staircase all the way up to the lower world. What he found shocked him.

Bell: Wow!

He found himself in a flat grassland. Just on the outskirts of a certain village.

Bell: This place is the same as Tartarus only not on fire, cool! Now, where's this Zeus person?

When he arrived he saw all the people in the village and asked a person something that was on his mind.

Bell: Excuse me, do you live here?

Villager: Why, yes I do.

Bell: What happened to your horns?

Villager: Uh kid, I'm a human.

Bell: Oh, so that's how humans look.

The man gave him a strange look before Bell asked him what he really came for.

Bell: Can you tell me if a person named Zeus is around here?

Villager: I think I would know a god when I see one. Sorry kid, never seen him here.

Bell: It's okay.

Bell left the man before he decided to try something.

Bell: (Let's see, if he's a god, then his soul should have the same feeling as grandpa.)

Bell has been familiar with using his reaper powers to feel people's souls. With this, he was able to differentiate between gods and mortals. This made it easy to tell that a god was indeed somewhere in the village. Bell stumbled on a small cabin and decided that the divine soul felt strongest there.

Bell: I guess this is the place.

Bell knocked on the door and an old man with white hair answered.

Bell: Sorry to disturb you, but I'm looking for a god named Zeus.

The old man looked at Bell like he found something he lost a long time ago.

Zeus: Bell?

Bell: How do you know my name?

Zeus: We've met before, you wouldn't remember because you were just a baby.

Bell: Ah, so you were the person who gave me to grandpa.

Zeus: That's right, I did that because a terrible monster is near this village and I'm using my powers to keep it asleep.

Bell: Is that so? Can i do anything to help?

Zeus: No, no. It's nothing you have to worry about boy. Let's just get you up to speed about the lower world.

And then Zeus and Bell spent 3 months together to where Bell saw the god as his second grandfather. Bell would learn many things about the lower world but was still ignorant to some common things like money and the weight of death.

Bell: Why does it matter?

Zeus: Well, people don't understand that concept as well as you so they will have more extreme reactions with that involved.

Bell: But now that I'm a Grand Reaper, I can kill and revive people without any backlash.

The God's eyes widened at this. To think his grandson could achieve something like that.

Zeus: (If he's that strong maybe. No, he's just a boy. He needs to live a normal life.)

Zeus: Tell me, how does becoming an adventurer sound?

Bell: Those people who hunt monsters in that dungeon place? That sounds like fun.

Zeus: Here, take this map. It leads right to Orario. Go there, become an adventurer, make friends and most importantly get yourself a harem or at least a girlfriend.

Bell: Sure thing, whatever that last one is.

With that, Bell left to become an adventurer in Orario. Normally, it would take one around a week from the village but with Bell's training, he made it in just a few short hours. He arrived at the walls to see a line to enter the city. It was a little past noon so there was plenty of light left in the day.

After much waiting, it was finally Bell's turn.

Guard: Name please.

Bell: Hello, my name is Bell Cranel.

Guard: And what is your business here?

Bell: I want to become an adventurer.

And so the guard checked to make sure there was no falna. There was little need as Hades was too busy to give one to Bell and update him.

Guard: Well, you check out and I have your payment so you may enter. Welcome to Orario kid.

Bell: Thank you, sir!

Now Bell was in Orario. He saw that it was vastly different than the castle he grew up in. There were so many different types of people, all the huge buildings and Babel. He took it all in with a smile as he made his way to the guild. That is, until he realized that he didn't know where it was or what it looked like. But as fate would have it, he would receive help in a peculiar way.

Bump*

Bell: Oh, I'm sorry. I wasn't watching where I was going.

He looked down to see that he had knocked down a blonde elf girl. Being the gentleman he was, offered her a hand , though not knowing about elven customs and preferences. Especially the one about not touching other races.

???: It's alright.

She took his hand and then froze as she realized what she did.

???: Why did I do that? My body should have rejected him.

Bell: Thank goodness, My name is Bell and I'm sorry again.

Ryuu: Ryuu, and it's fine, Bell. If you want to apologize, why not come to this pub tonight for dinner?

Bell: Are you sure?

Ryuu: Yes, we'd appreciate the extra money- I mean the patronage.

Bell: Well alright. I'll be sure to stop by later. See you Miss Ryuu.

He waved her goodbye and she did the same before walking back inside only to find a dwarf and a human looking at her with smug grins on their faces. They were none only the owner Mama Mia and a waitress Syr.

Mama Mia: I was wondering what was holding you up. Didn't know you were trying to seduce some young boy.

Syr: I guess Chloe rubbed off on you after all.

Ryuu turned red and denied this.

Ryuu: N-No, he just knocked me down and he apologized for it.

Mama Mia: Please, you're a level 4 and that boy looks like he'd jump for joy over a single goblin kill. How could he knock you down?

Syr: Unless you wanted it to happen

She began to giggle as Ryuu tried to tell her that it wasn't like that.

Ryuu: I'm telling you, he knocked me down. It felt like I hit a wall made of adamantite.

Mama Mia: Your sure? And he's coming by later?

Ryuu: Yes, I invited him here to eat as an apology.

Mama Mia: Well then, only one thing to do. OI! Ryuu's bringing a cute boy in for a date tonight! I expect everyone on their best behavior!

Not one second later, Ryuu's face turned into a tomato again as the girls pestered her for answers. Meanwhile, Bell finally found the guild and went to register. Inside, he found a red haired werewolf lady behind the counter and walked up to her.

Bell: Excuse me?

Rose: Yes? My name is Rose how may I help you?

Bell: I'd like to register as an adventurer please?

Rose: Hmm, okay then. Fill out this form for me then I'll complete your registration.

Bell filled in what he could. Name, experience, everything but his familia as he didn't have one. He handed the form to the werewolf lady.

Bell: I'm finished.

Rose: Okay then. Let's see Bell, age 14...

She read through the form before she stumbled upon his familia.

Rose: You didn't fill out your familia.

Bell: That's because I don't have one miss.

Rose: If that's the case I can only clear you for floor one.

Bell: I see, thank you.

Rose: Well that completes your registration. Now all that's left is to find you an advisor.

This was the annoying part. She could tell that this boy would be trouble but seeing as all the others were completely filled with adventurers, she was the only one who could be his advisor.

Rose: Since I'm the only one with a spot available, I will be your dungeon advisor.

Bell: I look forward to working with Miss Rose.

With that, he thanked her again and said goodbye to leave for the dungeon. When he arrived thanks to her directions, he found the first floor interesting. The way monsters spawned from the walls fascinated him but that quickly disappeared as he found out how weak they were. He saw how they dropped weird purple rocks after they died so he decided to keep them as prizes. Since the first floor didn't satisfy him, he went down. He went down and down until he found himself on floor 5. The monsters were still boring but he didn't want to push it as he didn't want to get lost.

Bell: Maybe I should call it quits for today? I still need to visit that pub and see Miss Ryuu.

He picked up the rest of the stones before hearing a roar. He turned to see a minotaur coming straight for him. With how boring the last few floors were, expectations of this monster couldn't be lower. Deciding that he'd had enough, he vanished from sight only to appear right in front of the minotaur. He places his hand on the body and killing it. With a slight push, the monster turned to dust instantly.

Bell: So boring. I'm out of here.

Little did he know, a werewolf and a swordswoman saw the whole thing and ran back to report it to their captain.

Back with Bell, he went back to the guild to check in with Rose again.

Bell: I'm back Miss Rose.

Rose: Were you really in the dungeon Bell?

Bell: Of course I was.

She doubted him since he hardly had a scratch but seeing the few drops of blood on him and the smell of monster, she but those doubts to rest.

Rose: Fine then, go over there to cash in your stones.

Bell: Hmm?

Rose: Your magic stones. You know, those rocks that appear after a monster dies.

Bell: Oh those, okay then.

Bell cashed in his loot for a total of 6000 valis.

Bell: Thank you very much.

He left with his money and went to find the pub he promised to visit. After some walking, he found the pub called the Hostess of Fertility and walked in. He was greeted by a brown haired cat person who seated him by the bar. He was greeted by Ryuu after seating himself.

Ryuu: I'm glad to see you here Bell.

Bell: Thanks for having me Miss Ryuu.

The dwarf saw the boy and went to greet him.

Mama Mia: So your the poor sap Ryuu seduced. Kinda feel bad for ya, that elf's failed at a lotta things in the past. Never expected her to bring a boy back here.

Ryuu blushed as she tried to shut her up with no results. Bell just smiled as he pretended to understand the meaning of what she said. He ate the pasta he ordered before the cat girl announced more customers.

Anya: The guests with reservations arrived, nya!

Adventurer A: Look, it's the Loki familia.

Adventurer B: I know, they look so cool.

Adventurer C: Check her out, it's the Sword Princess.

Bell ignored this and ate his food before the werewolf started talking.

Bete: Ais, tell about what happened earlier.

Loki: Woah, you doin' okay, Bete? You aren't drinking like usual.

Bete: After what we saw, I can't bring myself right now.

Tiona: What happened?

Bete: So when those minotaurs escaped, Ais and I tracked it down to floor 5 before we saw it try to attack some white haired rookie. Ais was about to step it but the kid just put his hand up to the monster and killed it instantly almost like he was bored.

Finn: That true Ais?

Ais: Yes. He hardly put in any effort.

Lefiya: Was it magic?

Bete: Couldn't tell but it felt like it was just brute force but that can't be. He looked like a fresh rookie.

The other patrons couldn't help but wonder who that boy was. Meanwhile, Bell finished his food and thanked Mama Mia before leaving. Bete noticed him and went to confront him.

Bete: Hey you!

However, he was answered by light step as Bell vanished from the entrance leaving the Loki familia stunned.

Tiona: Sooo, anyone else see that.

Bete: Uh uh. Way too fast.

Everyone at the bar wondered how that boy could do that. Ais wondered how he got that strong and wanted to see if he could help her. Ryuu was passed out in the kitchen after Lunoire and Chloe ganged up on her and called her a cougar for trying to seduce a child. Orario was in for a rude awakening as the following morning, Bell found himself face to face with the strongest familia in Orario.

AN: Okay, cutting it there. This one was interesting to write. I wasn't sure how to get Bell and Ryuu to meet so I just went with something simple. I also wanted to make Mama Mia more of a jokester to Ryuu to help her loosen up a bit after what she went through.

What will happen next? What do they want with Bell? Why is the Freya Familia trying to get his attention. How badly will I beat up Ottarl this time?
