Nor the limits a warrior stripped of his humanity would push himself, and others, to exterminate the Slaves of Doom and their mortal allies. His path of perpetual torment continues and this time he will no longer be walking it alone...

Of the long list of those that were deserving of a second chance, Valen did not count himself amongst their number. Yet here he was. Awakening from what he had intended to be his last stand against the forces of Hell, the former commander of the Night Sentinels finds himself in a relatively peaceful land, but one that had monsters of its own.

Against all the evil Salem can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce, I send unto them only you. Rip and Tear until it is done, Slayer, for it is your destiny to slay those who ended our legacy.

The Doom Slayer has slain the Dark Lord. And with his journey done, he is forced to stay into an eternal slumber, until a new evil arises. The Father has failed with his first creation, there was nobody to make balance with Davoth. So now, he creates the Gods of Light and Darkness, the Brother Gods. But when evil re-awakens known as the Grimm, the Slayer must team up with children.
