Post Spider-Man: Homecoming, Peter and May move away to Sunnydale from New York to get away from Tony and the Sokovia Accords. Peter soon meets some new people and finds out his new residence is even stranger than his old one.

After Willow is hospitalized, Pepper Potts is notified by the Rosenbergs that her daughter needs her. She drops everything to run to Willow's side, bringing Tony along with her. When the two adults discover that Willow and her friends are fighting a battle of their own, they do what they can to help. Tony discovers that not only is Willow special, but so are all her friends.

After the Watcher's Council discovers some interesting facts about Buffy's past Giles realizes that the young Slayer is now in danger. In hopes of keeping her safe, Giles and Joyce send Buffy away from Sunnydale. Sending her to the one place she had been avoiding since the day she became The Slayer. Malibu...where her father resided.

This sequel follows "From Beneath" and is the final installment in the series that began with "A Brother's Love" and wraps up the storylines concerning the nuclear war Warren's robot started and all the plans of the first. It also brings in all the characters from all previous stories as well as some new X-Men characters. At least one character death in this one.

An old friend visits Spike and changes the course of his life for the better. The Scoobies end up seeing a version of the vampire they never knew existed. Giles is curious. Xander is fanboying.
