A little flashback that forms part of my head cannon for The One universe. This drabble was written in in response to a first line prompt from xerxia31: "Well that's the single most impressive thing I've ever seen someone do."

We all clap politely as she makes her way over to the boy's bowl. "The boy that shall represent District Four this year is…" She struggles to unfold the slip of paper with her long, fake, magenta nails. "Finnick Odair!" No one tells you the true price a victor pays until you experience it firsthand.

Swim instructor Katniss spends most of her time teaching bratty kids how to swim. After a bad day and one private lesson to go, she thinks she's in for more hell. However, her new student, a sweet and shy man may be the sun in brightening her day.

Panem has fallen and now its rising once again. the capital is rebuilt while the rest of the districts are still under construction. Katniss now lives in the capital with Gale, Peeta and her 16 year old daughter Prim Hawthorne. with Gale never around because of construction, Katniss basically running Panem, peeta raises her while everything collapses around her.

Wanted to write a fluff piece about Katniss teaching Peeta how to hunt. This is the result. Fluffy, but enjoy!
