The dwarves are an affectionate bunch, particularly with Bilbo as he has no family on the journey to keep him company. Unfortunately, they don't realise that they are being just a little bit too rough with their hobbit. How will they react when they find out? This is Dwalin/Bilbo but very minimal.

She was ik-kund ukhrab, the Wolf Rider, daughter of the Grey Mountains, a true warrior, determined to join on the quest to retake Erebor she would restore honor to her family where others had failed.

She was never supposed to join the company of Thorin Oakenshield, but Riswynn was unlike most dwarven women, and she would be damned if she didn't get her revenge on the dragon that cursed her family.

Dwarves only love once, but Thorin is King of Erebor and Bilbo is a Hobbit. Thorin chooses duty over love hoping that the Dwarf-woman he'll marry will be at least a good mother. But maybe, just maybe, she will be a good friend as well. A story of duty, dedication, friendship, and forgiveness.
