Ed and Al were born in a world of Quirks with a missing century of history in which two seperate nations disappeared. They were born with a father who joked about dying and a mother who would watch as he left waiting for his return. They read strange books and hid the fact that what they did wasn't actually a Quirk. They tried to do the impossible, and they learnt the Truth.

Bakugo Katsuki didn't quite understand why he felt so wrong about quirks, but he just knew that it was something that should NOT be scientifically possible. Not to mention, the explosions that came out of his hands made him feel slightly sick for no apparent reason. (Ed-reincarnated-as-Katsuki fic)

Ed loves his little brother. Their dad isn't exactly great at the whole parenting thing, but that just means Ed has to pick up the slack. Which is fine. They have each other, and it's not as though he's going to let anything happen to Al—and Ed knows that one day, Al's going to become an amazing hero. Or: There isn't a world in which Ed won't sacrifice everything to save Al.

In a world dominated by heroes, a new agency will rise up using a regime that will put the military more into the hero life. The name s Amestris and is run by the number two hero Bradley and has a number of excellent pro heroes. But the youngest hero Edward Elrich with the quirk of Alchemy will be the one to make such an impact on the world and also find a way to get his arm back.

Edward learns that the "Truth" of his world is not enough to bring his little brother back, but if his world's Truth is not enough, he is determined to travel to another world, find their Truth, and finally take what he had been chasing for his whole life. [Alternate ending to FMABrotherhood/manga. Spoilers ahead]

Alchemy, an unimaginably powerful form of science lost to the passage of time, its revival impossible as scientific efforts began focusing more and more on understanding the bizarre case of quirks after humanity had started manifesting them. In this world, where the powerless are often forgotten, Izuku Midoriya plans on becoming the number one hero using the power of flame alchemy.
