"I did not sign up for this shit!" She screamed so loud it raised the attention of Hell below.

"Everything okay?"

Whipping around, she saw a man standing like he was an extra from the Grease movie. His hair was slicked back with a cigarette behind the ear and a cocky grin, hands rutting in his pocketsas he leaned on a vintage, pristine Mustang convertible.

"Are you for real right now?" She hissed, glaring at the man glowing under the pasty street lamp.

Like Hades himself, standing proud that he got out of the underworld. "As real as can be," He scoffed. "What's the matter there, baby doll?"

"Don't call me that!" Turning away from him, she moved to the other side of her car trying to get in, but she knew it would be locked as well.

Her keys, though, glinted brightly on the seat of her car.

Slamming her hand on the window, she felt instantly very alone with a strange man just on the other side of her car. Bella pulled out her cell phone and dialed her friend Alice but it instantly went to voicemail.

"My keys are locked in the damn car, I can't go anywhere- can't get in the house without them! Please call me back, ASAP because there's a creepy dude from the fifties here giving me the murder eyes-" Bella heard the man snicker, "watching the whole thing go down! If I am kidnapped, know that I'm fucking pissed that you ditched me for Mr. Greek God. Very rude. You know he isn't even Greek! Get your ass back here, now... Bye."

She turned to the man with a glare. "Don't think I won't defend myself from you. You should know I could kill you easy."

"Is that so?" He grinned widely. He looked etheric, like an angel under the light except for his sinister grin that she couldn't help wonder how it got its deviously devilish curve.

It was probably the same place he bought the leather jacket.

"It is." She lied.

"Well, good thing I'm already dead or I'd have to take you up on the offer."

"You're already dead?"

He chuckled loudly. "Do I look dead to you- or even undead for that matter? How much have you had to drink?"

"Enough to know you're annoying the Hell out of me in my time of distress."

He pulled the cigarette from the back of his ear and used it to motion towards her car, "Locking your keys in the car is hardly distress."

"Thank you for pointing that out to me, I feel so much better now." Bella sneered as he lit the cigarette and took a long pull from it. Normally she thought smoking was a disgusting habit but he made it look good- like Fonzie on Happy Days, almost.

"You're quite welcome," The man snickered, adJakeg his lean on the glossy red Mustang. It was old, but it looked as if it came right off the lot.

Bella pulled out her phone and started to search out locksmiths but each one she tried went right to voicemail since it was after hours. Turning, she eyed the women coming out of the club. One was a drunken fairy who was trying to hold up a dizzy bumblebee friend while a frustrated butterfly tried to herd them together. Three men followed them out, laughing with amusement. All three were dressed as counterparts to the woman. One was a bee keeper, one a butterfly catcher and the last man looked like Groot.

Edward looked at the black and blue pinstriped pencil skirt, crisp blue shirt and tall heels she was wearing. She looked like she had just come from the office but with a few adjustments she could look just like a sassy pinup girl. She definitely had the attitude for it. He pushed himself off the car and moved toward her, secretly loving how flustered she was getting just by his presence. "Where's Mr. Pencil pusher?"

"There's no Mr. Pencil pusher. I didn't dress up, obviously." She spat, "I was coming from work to pick up my friend Alice who clearly made other arrangements without telling me. Not that it's any of your business."

Edward shrugged indifferently.

Bella turned on her heels and started walking towards the door of the club but was promptly stopped by the bouncer.

"You have to have a costume to get in." He grunted looking down at her. He let out a large breath that seemed to cover her and she recoiled. She hated when people breathed on her, let alone a large unknown man that smelled like he just ate onion rings.

"My friend is in there. I'm her ride home."

"No exceptions," He grunted sending another waft of odor. "You can wait outside."

Bella positively bristled.

"She's with me," The greaser moved right behind her, enjoying how her body stiffened when she felt his presence. "Untuck your shirt and tie it in a knot at your stomach." He whispered hotly into her ear. She was not amused, but with one last look at the bouncer she tied up her shirt. He then took out a red bandana from his inside jacket pocket, rolled it, and tied it around her head.

Bella idly wondered if it was clean, but at least it matched her red lipstick perfectly.

"Thanks, Edward." The bouncer said and moved aside to let them in, and she could feel his fingers sit at the skin at the base of her back. The feeling jetted up her spine and raised the hairs on her head.

"Let's go find your friend," he spoke in her ear causing the chills to go back down her spine.

She didn't know why his touch was doing such funny things to her and she was too annoyed to think anything more of it.

Looking around the crowded club, there was every costume known to man and many that were borderline offensive.

One man, holding a squirming ladybug wore a large pot of flowers on his head with 'pot head' scribbled on it. It wasn't impressive at all.

"It is couples costume night." Edward supplied unnecessarily.

"Oh joy." She glared at many of the couples walking by but they remained aloof to her hostility. "Who knew there was a Halloween in July?"

He stopped her at the edge of the bar and she turned. She could feel the warmth of him over her entire body. He bent and she could feel his lips tickle her neck. "It's more like a date night. Finding your match," His nose touched the arch of her ear as his fingers gentle touched her cheek, "In every possible way."

His words were meant to seduce.

Bella thought she could feel his tongue slightly caress her ear and she shivered. "Oh, darn. I don't have a match."

"No?" He chuckled and she could feel it over her entire body. Hard muscles hidden from view barely touched her soft curves. "I beg to differ."

Edward pulled away from her and she felt the breach instantly like a punch to the gut that had her body searching.

"What do you want to drink?"

"I don't drink."

"Coke? Water?"

"I'll have water, thank you."

He ordered two bottles of water before grabbing her hand and pulling her close to him.

All the sudden a drunken man sidled up next to her and was leering at her hard. "We match." He huffed with a watery grin and she slightly turned to look at him. He looked like he was ready to farm or barbeque with denim overalls that looked well worn.

"Sorry?" They clearly didn't match. He needed to find someone dressed like a farm animal or something.

Edward pulled her closer, hand gripping her hip to speak in her ear. "It's something they say. They come up and say match and if you agree they become your date."

"We don't match, sorry." Bella told the man with the bleary eyes and lopsided grin.

Edward grinned, shaking his head. He turned to say something to the other man and the man must have got the hint because he scuttled off in the other direction without his beer. The bartender soon followed him, giving his him his beer.

Bella noticed the man didn't pay for the beer and Edward didn't pay for the water.

"What's going on?"

"What do you mean?" Edward smirked, clearly amused each time Bella seemed frustrated.

"Nothing," She shook her head, pulling out her purse and grabbing a twenty out of her pocket. Edward cupped his hands over hers and the bill.

"Your money is no good here," He grinned, blue eyes darting right to hers and keeping her there like a trance.

"What do you mean?"

"Let's go find someplace and talk. I can explain how all this works and we can look for your friend from up there." He motioned up some stairs that led to an overhang where there were many men and woman who worked for the club watching to going- on's from above.

"Okay."

It beat being in the crowd that was steadily growing.

Bella followed him to the stairs where there was another bouncer who eyed them both before nodding them through. The staircase was pitch black with a random beam of black light that blindingly lit her shirt up before encasing them again in darkness again.

She stumbled and felt his hand instantly on hers, leading her up. Finally, they reached the top and she remained hand in hand until they hit the balcony where she swiftly dropped it.

"So, see there?" He pointed at the crowd below. "There is a method to this madness for those who play along. Everyone here has a certain tier, so to speak."

"Okay?"

"The girls and guys who dress like the fairies, bugs, and the like are just out for a bit of fun." He winked. "Some don't know and come dressed like that for their own preference, but they get a lot of attention and they learn fast. The guys come as the farmers, bee keepers, etc… anything to catch their little potential love bugs."

"Gross,"

Edward nodded with a grin. "I don't judge."

"What about that guy?"

"The pot head?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, that's one of the more creative the costumes I've seen here, but the better the costume, the better chance of matching."

"I see," and she did see. There were a lot of bugs and their keepers and some flowers floating around. "It seems so obvious now."

"So you said you're friend wound up with a Greek God?"

"I'm noticing there aren't a lot of those here." She scoffed. "But she sent me a text with her and some guy with a crown of golden leaves and a toga, so that's a pretty safe bet."

"Was he painted gold?"

"No," Bella replied questioningly, turning to Edward.

"If they were the Gods, they are in a whole differently level in its self. They call them the untouchables… usually. They play very hard to get and aren't out for just a good time but actual relationships. Most are like a look and don't touch air about them."

"Ah,"

"So like the farmer did down there, they try claiming by saying, 'we match' which you then agree or disagree."

"What happens then, if someone agrees?"

Edward looked at her imploringly for several moments before continuing, "Whatever you want."

It felt like all the oxygen was suddenly sucked out of the room and it was hard to breathe.

"Whatever I want?"

"Whatever you want," Edward said again with a grin, tracing his finger over her red stained lips which opened her mouth a little. He moved his stained finger and traced the mark over her neck leaving a smudge of red down her artery. He then took a step towards her while his other hand locked back on her hip, pulling her hips toward his torso. She felt every muscular inch of him. "What everyone wants… and more."

"Is this like, some- uh… fetish club?"

"I guess you can say it's a club that holds certain events like this, which give people a chance to meet in a comfortable setting. This is just one of the many events that are more popular."

"And you're the owner."

Edward laughed loudly, head back in full amusement. "Was it that obvious?"

"I figured it out when you wouldn't let me pay or tip."

"Ah," He nodded. "I partly own the club, yes."

"So dressing up as the greaser means what?"

"You don't know?"

"Why don't you tell me?"

"Why don't you tell me? He countered.

"You're a bad boy?"

Edward shrugged. "Is that what you want?"

"What I want has nothing to do with you," Bella flustered.

"What you want has everything to do with me," Edward whispered. "I can read your body, your emotions, and your thoughts like a book. You want me just as much as I want you." Green eyes watched her brown eyes carefully, moving around her slowly as his arms locked around her, pulling her into him so she could feel how much he truly wanted her.

"It's not me you want," she breathed out, trying to catch her breath. "You want anything that gives you attention,"

Her words were effective at breaking their hypnotizing eye lock and gave her a chance to remove herself from his clutches.

He was like a snake.

And she could definitely feel the large snake in his pants- biting to get out.

"Thank you for the tour of your club, Edward. This was so illuminating but I think I'll call a ride and come back for the car tomorrow."

"I'd ask if I could give you a ride…. Or take you home, but judging how flustered you are, I could guess the answer."

"Goodbye Edward." Bella huffed, giving a slight wave as she booked it out of there, hearing his dark chuckles behind her.
