A very short piece I wrote in honor of in my opinion, one of the greatest games ever made. This is a short peek into the doomed final three days from an outsider's perspective.

Link, on his way from Labrynna is shocked to discover Veran alive and well in the town he plans to stay the night in. After refusing to fight, she reveals that she is a mercenary like him and faked her death during their battle. She invites Link to join her on her next job, and lets him crash in her room at the inn.
