New friends and a lot of folks wanting to see what these dinosaurs are all about, and also a visit that Arlo needs to see from Isla Cretacia. A lot is changing, and something else is conjuring up within FutureTech. Enjoy reading this new chapter everyone.

Spells and Louds.
Chapter 884: T-Rexes, Pterosaurs and FutureTech.

(January 22. Somewhere outside of Royal Woods.)

The herd of Longhorn Bison are moving along the large and open grassy plains and the ones herding them are none other than the T-rex Longhorn ranchers, Butch, Nash and Ramsey and they are also herding the Kodo's and Taurus to the one place they need to be herded to, the nearby river.

Butch stops and so do his teenage kids and they watch as the large herds are enjoying their drink and Butch sighs in relief and takes in the air. "Now that's what I like to see, some peace and quiet here with no other folks around."

Nash then sits down. "Sure does, pa. Also, I was wondering on when we can be saddled up and check out the rest of this world with the herd of Longhorns."

Ramsey also agrees. "Not that we're complaining or anything. We like it here, but some long distance exploration would be nice for a change pa."

Butch smirks. "Well, hold your talons and calm down now. We got six days left here, and glad that we can be able to travel now with nothing else bothering us."

"Not kidding there, Butch." Lincoln arrives and he is on his Netherdrake Nel'Thorious and they land down. "After what went down with FutureTech and this whole discussion, you guys are free to roam around the United States of America, just not near the borders of Mexico is the end of the line."

Nash nods. "That sounds reasonable, and glad we're having a good time here and learnin' so much about this world... Sorta, also any chances on when Arlo is coming back?"

Lincoln then recalls where Arlo is. "No clue he said he has to check up on something and make sure that some friends from another part of this world are doing alright. Sorry guys."

Butch nods. "Understood, chief. Arlo has grown up and become more than when we last saw him. The kid's got guts, and a good heart. He's a hardworking kid who will do what it takes to keep his family safe, and I respect that from him."

Ramsey speaks next. "A dang shame Spot ain't around. He sure was a cute little one."

Lincoln recalls what Arlo said to the others, about this human he made friends with named Spot and he is a primitive human with his own family and he acted like a dog towards Arlo, and Lincoln knows that there is no chance for Arlo to see Spot again.

Just then Butch, Nash and Ramsey look up and Butch asks. "Now what in the blue blazes of a Stego's Tail is that thing?"

Lincoln also looks up and he is surprised. "That would be Peter Sharp also known as Pyron, and he is riding his Monstrous Nightmare Dragon."

"Oh..." Then the three T-Rexes ask. "What's a dragon?"

(Isla Cretacia.)

The land from which tons of dinosaurs are now residing is looking quite calm and peaceful and nature is handling them well back in this world, as if they were meant to return and live peacefully, and perhaps one day live in peace alongside humanity on the mainlands.

Arlo is there, and he is walking alongside Jordan with Dominic and Becca Chang in her jeep and then he asks. "So, how have Downpour, Frostbite, Coldfront and Windgust been doing, Mrs. Chang?"

Becca then looks around and then she speaks to Arlo. "Downpour may have caught something, and so she will be checked on at the clinic near the Pterosaur Cliffside, Coldfront and Frostbite may have found potential mates amongst the flock and Windgust is planning to fly off to the northern cliffs of the island."

Arlo is happy to hear this and then he asks. "Has there been any trouble with them and the other dinosaurs lately?" He sounds nervous about asking this.

Becca smiles. "Well, no. Also, inbound." They all look up and spot Coldfront and Frostbite flying by them and they are joined by two female species of their own kind and this amazed them. "See, Arlo. Nothing wrong has gone wrong with any of them. They're living it out peacefully."

Arlo is happy to hear this and then he asks. "Then, if there is nothing wrong with them, then that means they are handling well and no longer bad or crazy flying dino's. But, what if they do get into trouble like make another dinosaur angry?"

Becca thinks about this. "Well, that depends on their actions, and can't seem to stop that from happening. They're instincts of who they are and what they were supposed to be before they met Thunderclap will kick in and there'd be no chance to make them be the dino's you see as friends."

"They will become who they are, and not some storm chasing psychos who lost their minds." Becca then uses her binoculars and she looks towards the Stegosaurs herd up ahead.

Arlo goes through this and he knows that is something he needs to accept. "Well, alright. At least they're happy with what they're doing and not feeling like what Thunderclap did to them, for once I don't feel bad about how it ended for Thunderclap. He was a crazy... What did you call him again?"

"Nyctosaurus" replied Jordan. "But, the reason for the others to be returning to a dinosaur state of survival is because of them lingering around and learning what it means to be what they should be. But, you along with Butch, Nash and Ramsey are different. You guys live a different lifestyle."

"A lifestyle of farming and herding" replied Becca, then she asks. "Have they planned to herd out of Royal Woods borders yet?"

Arlo shakes his head in denial. "Nope, in US time they got 6 days left before they holler on outta there and explore the vast country. For now, they'll be rustling' up and herdin' down near Royal Woods and possibly close to Great Lakes City, but I doubt there'd be anything for them there."

Jordan and Becca snicker and chuckle at Arlo's Texan style words. Then Becca speaks. "I would love to go over and observe how they do their work, and also get a sample from those Longhorn Bison, would be good research to see which one is healthier than a normal bison or bull."

"I think we can talk to them about that" replied Jordan. Then she recalls something. "Also, Jack Cyber informed me that there is no other way he can make the same formula to make other dinosaurs speak. He said it seems best if it should be for those within the mainlands of human civilization. So, just Arlo, Butch, Nash and Ramsey."

"Sure is nice to hear Arlo talk" replied Becca. "Also, I understand what Jack Cyber has to do, just as long as the dinosaurs here are doing alright, and the Grimm are kept an eye on along with those Graboids and their kin."

They all look to the distance and they can see the Royal Fortress far away, and also far from them is Amity Tower and watching over the Island of the Grimm. Then Arlo asks. "Ummm, I haven't been caught up on some stuff but, what the heck is a Grimm?"

(Far from Isla Cretacia.)

The Royal Fortress is back in the Pacific Ocean, and right now they have sent their underwater forces to explore the oceans below, because some strange seismic disturbances have been detected and they need to know what is going on down there, and Jack Cyber is leading this operation.

Victor is walking into the FutureTech base, and he is looking for Martin and so he heads to the main technologies laboratory and there is the man he seeks and he has a lot to report to him about what may have been discovered and found.

"Alright, McKenzie. Here's the report. "Seismic disturbance within the bottom of the ocean is not as dangerous as any kind of destructive earthquake, and that means there is no chances for any sea quakes and tsunamis to the rest of the mainlands nearing the Pacific Ocean."

"Jack Cyber is gonna be headed down there with an underwater research and recon team, and if they do find something then they're gonna send in the NoD Aftershock walker to try and detect the reasons for this underwater..." He then sees what Martin is doing. "What in the hell are you tinkering with now?"

Martin smirks and then he goes over to explain. "Alright, so if I can recall that the last time we made an energy absorption machine it was a total bust because we could never find the problem on why it became into something else right? Well, I figured it out and now this."

"I am rebuilding this ray gun, well energy absorbing ray gun to act as a weapon. We could use something like this, and right now that Enigma crystal and what is left of the lingering energy essence is what will be tested."

"I found out that we didn't harness all the energies from that small crystal, we only got the total sum, but the essence remains and if we do harness it out then chances we can be able to do the same on the front line against any foe that has a powerful energy source that needs to be taken out."

Victor thinks about this. "Well, as fun as it sounds to rebuild this thing. Are you sure about this? I mean, last time this thing fired it turned someone from another world into a one year old infant and we got a scolding and a beating from that. What makes you think this is gonna be different Martin?"

"Because of this." Martin shows Victor the rewritten blueprints and he takes a look at it. "Took me a long while, but I did it and it works. This right here, this is the real deal and I managed to piece out the problems within and I know this is gonna work."

"We're not gonna rely on tech from our other forces, we're gonna do this ourselves and make something new and if this works and we send it out into the fight to take down hybrid machinery and suck the energy from their weapons and shut them down, then we can do more with this."

"We can retrofit a bigger one and add it to the Royal Fortress so it can do some softening to the enemy before our forces can close in and take a lot of casualties. Victor, name one vehicle we have in our disposal that can absorb energies."

Victor thinks about this, and he knows one. "The Medusa strike craft shuts down vehicles, and so does the ECM Tank and the Microwave Tank, but they don't absorb energy like whatever it is you are making." He then grabs a particle battery. "Oh hell, let's do this thing McKenzie."

Martin smirks. "Contact Jack Cyber, and tell him to continue with what he is doing and that when he is done, we're gonna need his aid." He then grabs a blowtorch. "Because we're gonna need all the help we can get to make this thing work."

Martin and Victor then proceed to make this new machine/weapon work, and the blueprints called it: The Energy Eradicator.

A/N: The T-Rexes are having a good time living here, and soon they'll be galloping along with their herds and it seems like the flyers from the other world are doing well living on Isla Cretacia, and what in the hell are those FutureTech dorks up to now?
