"Bell's you home?'' I called
"In the lounge dad we've got visitors.'' Bella called
"Who's her…?'' I started to say
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU BASTARDS DOING HERE IN FORKS LET ALONE MY HOUSE?'' I SCREAMED
"Char-Dad easy Alice and Jasper are here to apologize and check up on me after the family had a massive argument over the Cullen siblings not being allowed to contact me after Edward and Carlisle forbade the family from having any contact with me when they left Forks." Bella explained
"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN THAT FUCKWARD FORBADE HIS SISBLINGS FROM HAVING ANY CONTACT WITH YOU? WHO THE FUCK DOES HE THINK HE IS?" I screamed & asked
"Chief my brother is many things but having any idea about females is not one of them. I told Edward that the way he planned to break up with Bella was extremely cruel but he wouldn't listen to me, I didn't know just how bad it was until Bella told us what Edward did it is extremely despicable." Alice explained
"Alice you know that you can call me Charlie. I apologize from screaming at you, thank you for at least caring about Bella enough to come back to apologize for what happened. But it isn't you that should be here apologizing to Bella and I and begging for our forgiveness for what that BASTARD did to my baby girl." I explained/said
"Charlie I promise you that Edward will never get the chance to break Bella the way he did when we left last September I would sooner kill him than let him anywhere near Bella's heart." Jasper promised
"Thank you Major Whitlock that gives me great peace to know that you and Alice don't condone what THAT WANKER did to Bella but to also love her enough to protect her above your own Coven." I said
"Wait what?" Bella exclaimed
''Bella I've always known what and who the Cullen's are even before they moved here. You probably don't remember him but our many times great grandfather saved your life when you and Renee lived in New York he stopped one of Renee's ex's from kidnapping and raping you." I explained
"Wait do you mean Uncle Royce?'' Bella asked
"Yeah I do Bella.'' I said
"I was on my way up to your house in New York for our annual holiday when I got the phone call that you were in the hospital getting checked over after you were brought in by our grandfather Peter.'' I explained
"Charlie what was Royce's last name? Also what is Peter's last name?'' Jasper asked"
"Royce's last name was King and Peter's last name is Whitlock.'' I said
"You know Jasper I should hate you for changing my great grandfather but thank you so much if it hadn't been for that fact my daughter would have been killed that day.'' I said"
"Charlie I've never been more thankful that I changed Peter all those year's ago than I am right now. Our family never would have been the same had Bella not made it and we hadn't met her.'' Jasper explained
"SHIT Rose isn't going to like that.'' Alice swore
"Alice why wouldn't Rosalie like that Royce almost attacked me?'' Bella asked
"Oh Bella I hate to tell you this but Rosalie despises you she wouldn't care if you had been raped and killed, all she would care about is that her rapist was able to reproduce before she killed him plus his mates.'' Jasper explained
"Why does she hate me so much I never did anything to her?'' Bella asked
"I can answer that Bells she hates you because your human and you were willing to give up everything that entails for Edward to change you into a vampire.'' I explained
"DAD! How did you know about that?'' Bella exclaimed
"Peter has a gift like Alice's but he doesn't see picture's just get's information that his gift feels is important.'' I explained
"Peter also told me that after your eighteenth birthday that you would need to go to Italy to be with your actual mate and to keep this information for DICKWARD. I'm sorry if that upsets you that Edward lied about being your mate Bells.'' I explained
"Dad I already know that Edward isn't my mate Jacob told me. Also after going cliff jumping in La Push I feel absolutely nothing for that douche bag.'' Bella explained
"Alice, Jazz and I were actually getting ready to head out to find Edward as Rosalie called him and told him that I was dead so he apparently wants to die as well. Alice needs me to go to stop him for Esme because Edward won't believe that I'm alive coming from her but you came home before we left.'' Bella explained
"We believe that Edward is heading towards Volterra, Italy to see the Volturi.'' Jasper explained
"Well if he is that would be every fortuitist as Bella's mate is in Volterra. So you would be killing two birds with one stone so to speak.'' I said
''Charlie are you planning on going to your friend's funeral?'' Alice asked
"Yes why Alice?'' I asked
"Alice?" Bella asked
"One of the pack is here, we can smell them outside.'' Alice said
"SHIT it's probably Jacob I better go see what he wants.'' Bella swore
Jacob's Pov
"What's that good awful stench?" I exclaimed
"Jake what are you doing here shouldn't you be at the funeral helping set up?'' Bella asked while coming out the door
"I was at the funeral when I informed Sam of the fact that some of the Cullen's have come back to Forks, Sam asked me to come back firstly to check that they hadn't broken the treaty and secondly to find out how long they're going to be here for and if the rest of the Cullen's are coming back?'' I said
"Firstly they'd never be the first to break the treaty they are better than that despite what you and your pack may think, secondly how long they are going to be here is none of your business and lastly no the other Cullen's aren't coming back.'' I said
"Mr. Black why don't you come inside and we can answer all yours and your Alpha's questions?'' Blondie #2 asked
"Before we start I figured introductions would be necessary so you can know our names seeing as we know yours. My name is Major Jasper Whitlock and this lovely lady is Mary Alice Brandon.'' Jasper introduced
"Fine. Now why the FUCK are you here you've done enough damage to Bella as it is without you needing to come back just to leave again?'' I demanded
"JACOB BLACK MIND YOUR BLOODY MANNERS IN MY HOME!'' Charlie shouted
"My mate and I are here because she had a vision of Bella jumping of a cliff in La Push but didn't see her come back up. To see if she's alright after all the worrying visions that my mate has been having of Bella these past few months we felt we needed to come back to explain why we left and to apologize for the way we left and for some other things that are none of your business.'' Jasper explained
"Is the rest of your Coven going to be coming back?'' I asked
"Not that we know of Carlisle isn't aware that we are here yet, which we shouldn't be as he has given an edict that the family isn't allowed to have any contact with Bella as Carlisle and Edward are convinced that Bella is Edwards mate but she isn't.'' Alice said
"How long are you planning on staying in the area as we will need to pull back our patrols while you are here?'' I asked
"Alice….?'' Bella asked
Edward's Pov
I can't believe that I was such an idiot to leave Bella, I know what I did was cruel but I didn't want to put Bella in danger anymore and it was the only way I could think of to get her to let me leave without trying to follow me.
That's why I'm on my way back to my family to inform them we're moving back to Forks, Washington and that I'm going to beg Bella to forgive me and take me back. I'd do anything to have her to take me back even change her into a vampire. Even though I still hate the thought of her as a vampire and giving up a human life also giving up all that entails.
Suddenly my phone begins to ring.
"Edward: What?"
"Rosalie: Wow, Edward finally answered the phone. I feel so honored..."
"Edward: I'm hanging up now..."
"Rosalie: Wait...! You should come home. Esme's a wreck, Carlisle never smiles. Even Emmett's depressed. You've really done a number on them."
"Edward: I'm sorry. I am. But they wouldn't be happier with me around. Trust me."
"Rosalie: I... I just miss... us. The family."
"Edward: I know. But the further away I am, the safer Bella will be. She deserves a shot at a normal life -"
"Rosalie: But see, you don't have to worry about that, not anymore -"
"Edward: Why, Rose? Did something happen?"
"Rosalie: I - uh -"
"Edward: Tell me, Rosalie. Tell me! -"
"Rosalie: - Alice had a vision. She saw Bella - throw herself off a cliff... She's dead, Edward."
"Edward: I... don't believe it."
"Rosalie: Alice is there now. Thought she could help with the funeral or something."
"Rosalie: Come home, Edward. It's time... Edward...?'' She'd been disconnected.
I need to check if she's actually dead. Who should I call? Of course Charlie probably shouldn't use my name I'll say its Carlisle checking to see if the rumor of Bella's death is true. I'll say that Alice called from her trip to say she got a strange voice mail from Bella and became worried when she couldn't get a hold of her.
Suddenly the Swan house phone started to ring.
"Jacob: Swan residence.''
"Edward: Is Chief Swan there please?"
"Jacob: He's not here. He's at a funeral..."
"Jacob: Filthy bloodsucker."
"JACOB EMPHRIAM BLACK HOW DARE YOU ANSWER MY PHONE! Charlie shouted"
"Bella: Wait, who was it?"
"Jacob: Dr. Carlisle Cullen."
"Bella: You should have let me talk to him."
"Jacob: He didn't ask for you -"
"Jacob: Step away from me, Bella."
"Bella!'' Alice exclaimed
"Alice, what's wrong?'' Bella asked
"That was Edward. He was calling to confirm what Rosalie told him before he's defiantly now heading to Italy to see the Volturi.'' Alice explained.
"HOW THE FUCK COULD YOU MISTAKE EDWARD FOR CARLISLE?'' Bella shouted at me
"HOW THE FUCK WAS I TO KNOW THAT IT WAN'T CARLISLE. EDWARD IDENTIFIED HINMSELF AS CARLISLE!'' I shouted back at Bella
"Bella we don't have time for this we've got to go.'' Alice said
"Bella I need to talk to you in private please.'' I asked
"Fine you have 2 minutes.'' Bella said
"Alice, Dad, Jazz can you pack up the car and make sure we have everything please?'' Bella asked
''Sure Bells, Bella.'' They said
"Why do you have to go?'' I asked
"He won't believe Alice. He has to see that I'm alive.'' Bella said
"He left you, Bella. He didn't want you anymore, remember?'' I exclaimed
"I'm not gonna let him kill himself out of guilt.'' This wounds him. But Bella can't stop to soothe him. She pulls away and continues packing.
"Look, Jake, I'm sorry I -.'' Bella started to say
"This place stinks to hell.'' I said
"You're welcome to leave. In fact -.'' Bella said
"Look Bella I want you to stay here with me, the pack and Charlie I don't want you to go with those bloodsuckers.'' I told her
"Look Jacob I DON'T FUCKING feel the same way for you I don't see you as anything other than a friend and little brother!'' Bella screamed
"You haven't even tried how do you know you don't have feelings for me?'' I asked
"When I try thinking about you in any other way than a friend or little brother I want to puke it feels wrong to think of you that way. Look Jacob your mate is still out there somewhere I'm not them.'' Bella explained
"Bella as rightful Alpha I can choose who my mate is I want you, I don't want anyone else.'' I explained
"Jacob I am already taken I have a mate in Italy waiting for me I'm sorry but I just don't feel any romantic feelings towards you.'' Bella explained
"Anything else you need as I have a plane to catch and you have a funeral to go to?'' Bella asked
"That's it.'' I said
"Better go report to Sam then.'' Bella sneered
"I've done it again. I keep breaking my promise not to hurt you.'' Jacob cried
"It doesn't have to be this way.'' Bella said
"Yeah, it does.'' I said
"It was easier when we were both human, wasn't it?'' I asked
"You've never been fully human Jacob so no it wasn't, we've always just been friends.'' Bella said
"Yo Jake Sam's wondering what the hold up is?'' Quil called
"Quil... you, too?'' Bella asked
"Yeah. Me, too.'' Quil said
"Got the airline tickets.'' Alice called
"You Cullen's might hunt animals but those monsters in Italy don't.'' I said
"We're well aware what the Volturi are.'' Alice said
"Then why are you taking Bella to them like a bottle of wine to a party?'' I asked
"Let's just go.'' Bella said
"Please, Bella. Stay here. For Charlie... for me.'' I begged
"Goodbye, Jacob.'' Bella said
"Well you both should be heading back to La Push for the funeral.'' Bella said
"Yea suppose so. See you round Bella or not.'' I said
"Jake tell Billy I'll be there soon.'' Charlie called before I disappeared into the forest
"Sure, Sure Chief.'' I called back
Jasper's Pov
"Bella remember to call me when you get a free minute I would like to talk to the Leaders.'' Charlie said
"Yes Dad. I promise. I love you.'' Bella said
"Love you to Bells." Charlie said
"Well I better get going; Sue wanted to keep the service small but don't want to be late." Charlie said
"Don't worry about me. Are you gonna be okay?" Bella asked
"Yeah... but Sue, and those kids - Leah's only a year older than you. And Seth's, what, fourteen..." Charlie said
"There'll be a reception after. I might stay late, see if I can help." Charlie said
"Ok stay safe Dad; I'll call when I get the chance to." Bella said
"Will do Bells, you stay safe to." Charlie said
"Don't worry Chief we'll keep her safe." I said
"Bye kiddo." Charlie called while we drove away
"Well Italy here we come." Bella said
"Yep are you sure you want to do this Bella?" I asked
"Jazz I'm not doing this for Edward I'm doing this for Esme if the Volturi do actually agree to kill him it will kill Esme, so if I can even remotely prevent that from happening then I'm going to try to do it with everything at my disposal." Bella explained
"Ok just checking." I said
Edward's Pov
"Have you decided?" I asked
"It was an intriguing debate. We don't get many suicidal vampires." Aro said
"Pathetic." Caius said
"I'm afraid your gifts are too valuable to destroy. But if you're unhappy with your lot, join us. We'd be delighted to utilize your skills." Aro said
"So you won't end this." I asked
"Not without cause." Marcus said
"Such a waste." Aro sighed
