"I'm really sorry, Bella, I've read every email you have, I'm sorry, but I can't get back to you." Bella sits with me in the back seat of a speeding Ferrari, the situation is anxious that we couldn't enjoy the view of Florence.

"Here is Volterra."Alice says.

Alice keeps honking her horn , the red-robed men around the car move to either side, and she stuffs the police with a large-denomination bill so that the car can drive into Volterra and take us as close as possible, saving Bella some time to finding Edward.

Until a few policemen stand in the front row—they stopp the car, Alice is force to stop, Bella throws away my hand and rush out of the car.

"Why don't you—" Bella bend down and ask anxiously through the window.

"Only if you can go to him, Edward will think I'm convincing him that you're not dead, that he can't see what you're thinking, that only really seeing you will make him stop! It's only two minutes now, run!" Alice shouts at Bella and step out of the car herself.

I immediately leave Alice and follwe with Bella. The message Alice provided in the car was silently remembered : Bell tower, twelve o'clock... We're running out of time.

Today is the 19th, St. Marcus, surrounded by people. They are celebrating that they drove vampires out of the city, but they didn't. Alice has to separate from us and find a shady place to hide.

We try our best to get through the crowd, the people block the road. Bella try desperately to push the crowd forward. Fortunately, the tall bell tower is very conspicuous. But the hands of a clock at the top of the tower will soon coincide.

In front of Bella's run, a clearing appeare, in the center of the square is a relatively large square fountain.

The bell ring.

She keeps pushing the crowd away, I just go after her through the square pool, the water splashing and people making way for us—two soaked "crazy women." Of course they don't want the water to splash on them. The bell ring again.and at twelve o'clock in the afternoon, the sun shine on us without a trace of warmth. We are all soaked, and there is still wind here.

"Edward!" Bella screams, but her voice drown out the bells.

I change direction, blocking the view of a toddler who is constantly tugging at her mother's clothes. Bella steps out of the pool and runs toward the only shadow that remaine.

Edward stands in the doorway, his eyes close, his bags is dark purple, his arms naturally hanging down on either side of his body, his palms forward. His expression is extremely serene, as if he is having a good dream. The clothes on his chest are open, and the skin on his chest shine like marble—there is a small pile of white under his feet. Light is reflecte from the corridor of the square onto his skin, glowing slightly.

The bell is still ringing in Volterra, and Edward stride out of the shadows.

"No! No! Open your eyes and look at me Edward! " Bella screams loudly and I'm almost faint. Now there is nothing to stop him, he don't listen to Bella. His smile is slightly, and step into the sunlight.

Bella rushes towards him and almost throw herself to the ground due to too much force, but thankfully he caught Bella. I rush over and close the door , blocking the view from outside.

When the bell goes away , he slowly open his eyes. He looks down at Bella.

"It's wonderful," he says, a magnetic voice full of surprise and a little bit of joy. "Carlisle is right. "

Edward seems amused, his hands brush Bella's cheek and follow Bella's footsteps back into the shadows.

It's strange that Edward is still in danger. I am not sure the little boy had been staring at Edward. But I could feel it, bella and Edward both felt good. If I'm a vampire, I could definitely hear bella's heart beating, blood boiling and gushing in her veins.

"I can't believe it all come so quickly. I don't feel anything – they're amazing." He is enjoying this, he closes his eyes and kisses Bella's hair again. His voice is as sweet as honey and as soft as velvet.

Stupid, open your eyes and take a good look, don't forget your hearing and touch, this girl now stand in front of you - Bella, her powerful heartbeat, warm temperature...

"Death, even if it takes away the honey out of your breathe, cannot take away your beauty." He whisper. "You smell as good as ever," he continue, "even if it's hell, I don't care, I want to have it." "

"Open your eyes, you stupid Edward!" I grab Bella's arm and pull her out of Edward's arms.I confront Edward and yell at him.

"Bella's NOT DEAD! You're not Edward too! Punch him, Bella, wake him up," I say to Bella. "I'll call Alice right away."

Edward finally realizes that her sister's voice isn't in his sweet dreams , but Bella is so real that Edward finally opens his eyes again, eyelashes fluttering, and looks at Bella, with an incredulous look, "I saw you..."

"You are not dead, yes. We must get out of here before the Volturi find..."

My call is halfway through, he yanks Bella away from the edge of the shadows, flungs her easily against the wall, and stands with his back to us, his arms outstretch to protect Bella.

My voice suddenly stop, I'm sure that Alice must realize something happen, as I slowly lower my hand to the phone.

"Stand with Bella," Edward says softly. I walk quickly behind him and grab Bella's hand, which is now so stiff and cold as ice, and so am I.

"Hello gentlemen," Edward's voice sound calm and brisk. "I don't expect to meet you today, but I can feel more honor if you thank your master on my behalf." "

"Can we talk in a more suitable place?" A flat voice say with up to no good.

"I don't think that's necessary." Edward's voice stiffen, "I understand your rules, Felix, but I don't break any rules either. "

"Felix just wants to say that the sun snapshot is here." Another explain that both of them are wearing gray cloaks that are mopping the floor. The cloaks are constantly swinging in the wind.

"Let's find a more shady place."

"Well, I can go with you, but let two girls enjoy the festival." Edward says coldly.

The first one refuses with bad intention, "No, they're coming too." "

The superficial politeness disappeared suddenly. Edward's voice is extremely cold. His body lean forward into a half-crouched position, I know he is ready for battle, just like the last time he had faced James and Victoria.

"Don't !" Bella says.

"Felix," the second man remind, he looks more reasonable. He turns to Edward, menaces in his cold voice, "Aro just wants to talk with you, and hopes you don't push us to shoot. "

"Of course you can." Edward replies coldly, "But the girls must leave first." "

"I'm afraid not," Demetri apologetically, "we are also acting on orders." "

"Then I'm afraid I will not be able to accept Aro's invitation, Demetri."

"Aro will be disappointed." Demetri sighs.

"He's sure to be able to withstand such disappointments." Edward replies with no emotion.

Felix and Demetri creep up to us, and the two of them scatter so that they could attack Edward on both sides.

They are all wrap in cloaks, no light could shine on their skin.

Suddenly Edward turns his head and put away his arms that are standing in front of us, Demetri and Felix pose the movement of Edward just now, they must hear something, but I don't know anything.

"Can't we just settle down?" A brisk voice propose, "There are two ladies present."

Alice walks naturally to Edward's side, her steps brisk and careless, without a hint of tension. She looks so small, so fragile, and her arms were flinging like a child's.

Both Demetri and Felix stand up straight, their cloaks fluttering gently with a gust of wind a few times.

"There still have people." She reminds them, pointing to the people behind her who had just open the door.

Not far from us in the square, the little boy has already catch the attention of his parents, and his father takes him in his arms, and the whole family look at us.

Demetri wants to say something more, and a voice, then a high and sharp voice, come from behind us.

"Enough."

I peek under Edward's other arm, a small black shadow approachs us, but both Demetri and Felix seem relaxed, fading their defensive postures and hiding in the shadows. Edward is also like a defeat, Alice crosses her hands on her chest, unable to see any expression.

"Jane."This is Edward's voice,it's cold,almost freezing.

"Come with me." Her voice is...is childish, just like her face.

Alice holds me behind Jane, Edward wraps his arms around Bella's waist, Felix and Dmitry follow closely.

"What's going on?" Edward asks slight, apparently wondering why Bella has come back from the dead, but his tone is mundane, as if it is just a casual question.

"It's a long story, but clearly that Bella is in love with some extreme sport." There are some things Alice doesn't say, and the whole thing isn't as simple as Alice said, but Edward can see what Alice is thinking.

"Why does she come too?" "She" is referring to me. I don't look back, juck still checking the road. Though there is light on both sides of the stone walls, it's still too dark, I don't have vampire's vision, then I have to concentrate on the road in front of me to keep me from tripping over the little rocks on the ground.

"I don't have a guardian, but you're my family, Bella is my best friend, so I have to be here." I reply.

"Well, one more person is dying today, or dying." Edward says sarcastically.

After a bit of downhill walking, the road behind us disappear, and we are following Jane to a flat and sharp place, the road in front of us is like a cliff. Jane is gone, Allie walks forward, without slowing down, and then she calmly slid into a hole in the street.

The hole is small and dark, looks like a drainage ditch, stretching all the way to the lowest point of the stone road.

"Come down, I'll pick you up." Alice's voice appears at the bottom of the hole. I'm looking at the complete pitch-black hole hesitantly.Like Alice says, I sit down slowly, my hands on the ground, my legs dangling around the edge.

"Alice?" I reach out and say uncertainly.

"Yes, don't be afraid." I believe in Alice as much as I believe in myself. I prop myself up, my whole body leaning forward, my ass off the edge of the hole, and then I feel like I'm in a pipe with my back in an arc that is falling down at breakneck speed.

I close my eyes tightly, not knowing how long it had been, maybe only a few seconds before I'm hold in Alice's arms. Smelling Alice, open my eyes, and I'm helding tightly in the arms of this elf-like girl.

"I told you."

Alice pats me on the waist and let go of me,continues to look up and say, "Come on Bella, I'll catch you."

At the top of the hole come a man's voice, so far away that I can't hear it clearly, presumably Edward comforting Bella.

"Don't worry, I'll be under you." I also try to comfort my friend , but I'm not sure if she can hear me,just hope Edward convey it for me.

There is sentence from Edward, and all I hear Alice says, "Let it go." Almost at a speed I can't detect, Alice takes the pose already and catch Bella.

Immediately Edward appears behind Bella.

We continue through a dark road. I hold Alice's arm, the whole person pressed against her, and the touch of Alice's hands with leather gloves appear on my cheek.

In the darkness, I lose almost all my senses, couldn't see the road, hear only my own heartbeat and Alice's cold arm across the fabric.

I don't know where a beam of light appeared, making it gradually brighter here.

The restoration of my sight seem to give me some sense of security, and I begin to notice the clothes still wet on my body, hanging on me. In the series of actions just now, it seems to have wet Alice as well. In this cold place, its only role was to prevent my nakedness.

At the end of the tunnel is a rusted door with handrails as thick as my arm. A small door with a small handrail is open, and we quickly pass through and enter a slightly larger stone chamber with light. The iron door behind it slams shut and make a locking sound. I'm scared but don't dare to look back.

At the other end of the room there is a small, heavy-looking wooden door with a thick door that open with a small slit. Through this door, we come to a bright area, the sudden bright light force me to close my eyes until my eyes gradually adjust to the bright light.

It is a long corridor, and Jane is standing at the end of the corridor with an elevator next to her. After entering the elevator, the three vampires become unscrupulous, they take off the hood on their heads, no longer afraid of natural light.

The elevator door quickly open and we step out of the elevator, here is a room with a place similar to the front desk. The woman sits inside immediately stands up, she smile and welcome, "Hello, Jane. "

"Gianna." Jane nods, responding to her welcome.

She go straight to the door of the room, and we followe behind.

The reception at the back of the wooden door was completely different from the one in front. There is a boy who looks like Jane's twin brother. He greets Jane with a smile: "Jane. "

"Alec." Jane responds to him, hugging the boy and kissing each other on the cheek.

"They send you bringing him back one, and you bring back two... and half," the boy named Alec corrects, "well done. "

I know it, Alice and Edward counted two, and Bella and I combined were no match for any of them.

Jane smiles, revealing a smile that match her appearance, she smiles happily.

"They'll be happy to see you come back." Alec says.

"But don't make them wait." Jane reminds.
