Chapter 786.
"Farming Harvest Time."

(January 30. Hunnicut Farms.)

The limo from Hope arrives, and then it parks not too close to the tractor of the family who lives there, and then the folks inside all come out. Lincoln, Jordan, Leslie, Delilah, Gretchen, Hope, Ryan, Clyde, Rusty, Zach, Stella, Simon and Tabby.

They look around the place and take in the Farm fresh air. "I love the smell of this place, so rustic and peaceful and the Mareep and Wooloo are so adorable!" They spot the large flocks going around on another large open space.

Rusty smells the air. "All I smell is manure." He then sees that he is near one. "Oh, never mind. Wow that is gnarly."

Delilah looks towards Leslie. "Are you sure about coming here and doing this, sis?"

Leslie nods. "Yes, I wanna know what it is like to do some hard work and I wanna make myself accustomed to stuff like this for when the future comes for me, and this little one. I don't wanna be the girl who does nothing and watch others do stuff for me. I need to do my part and help out."

All of them are amazed and proud to hear her say that, but they are also concerned and have to make sure Leslie doesn't get herself into harms' way when she has to do this work, then they see Liam walk towards them. "Howdy fellas, glad ya'll came to help out."

Lincoln and Liam then fist bump each other. "It's all good, man. So, what's the word on your family?"

Liam sighs. "Well, my ma and pa had to go and check on his brother and sister who both got badly hurt from a stampede from their own cattle, and as for my memaw... Well, my memaw sprained her ankle when she was wrestling Virginia, and the whole monthly harvest came a little too early."

They see around as everything looks ready for harvest. "Wow. We can see that" replied Jordan. "Glad we're all here to help out. So, what do you want us to do around here to help out, Liam?"

Liam smirks and he explains to them. "Alrighty then, so all of you need to know that I need the eggs picked, the vegetables, milk, wool and pretty much all the works. Tabby and I will hustle up with the harvest on the tractors. Anyone else wanna partake in that one?"

Delilah raises her hand. "I think I can handle that." She then hand the bag over to Lincoln and Jordan, since she's gonna be with them doing something else.

Then Liam hands them some labels. "Once ya'll are done with the harvesting, make sure these go onto the products to be sold for tomorrow." They all take some Hunnicut farm labels and then Hope reads what they say.

"Hunnicut Farms. Fresher than a Lofaah'ed pig."

Liam snickers. "Darn right on that one there, Pertland. Anyone can tell the Hunnicut difference, and Rusty my memaw could use some company and I leave that one for you, buddy."

Rusty salutes. "I got this man, I did make good terms with my piano teacher and we're good friends." He then heads off to the house where Liam lives.

"Alrighty then folks. Let's all do this thing!" cheered Liam, and they all call out. "Su-Weet!" then they race off to get the chores done, though Lincoln, Jordan and Leslie walk to the barn, and the eagles watch this happen and they sit by and watch as the kids continue with what they are doing, mostly chores.

(At the Chicken Coop.)

Clyde and Hope head for the Chicken Coop, and they both go inside and see the eggs, and then Clyde takes in a deep breath. "Alright, after being here before and helping handling the chickens, I know exactly what they want to calm them down."

Hope nods. "Alright, should I get some corn or chicken feed?"

Clyde chuckles and smirks. "No need, I sorted out what I could do to get the eggs." Clyde then has his bag ready and the duo go inside, and soon after they come out with their baskets filled with farm fresh eggs. "There, and thank you for doing business with you my good man."

The Rooster nods and the rest of the chickens inside the coop begin to eat what Clyde gave them and then Clyde and Hope go onward to the next chicken coop and then Hope speaks. "Wow. All it took was one pie?"

Clyde then explains. "Not just an ordinary pie, Hope Pertland. The pie I handed them was made by me, and it's something they would love. Corn pie, and I got plenty more. Now, to the next chicken coop!" Hope and Clyde then race forward to get their hands on more eggs, and they are carrying more empty baskets.

Hope smirks. "This is gonna be one big harvest time, Clyde!"

(By the Vegetable Garden.)

Zach, along with Ryan and Gretchen come over and see the vegetables, and they have some baskets to get the harvest done. "Alright, let's get this over with" replied Zach as he approaches the vegetable garden.

"Are you sure you know what you're doing?" asked Ryan. "We have been helping at the Farm more, and I think this is your first time doing the farm style chores and all that stuff."

"Come on guys, this can't be too..." Zach removes the turnip, but then a gopher is attached and this freaks him out, and the Gopher hisses and is about to attack, but then Yamper tackles the gopher and then sues a thunderbolt and the gopher runs off. "Wow that was scary!"

They watch as Patriot flies down and snatches the gopher to be eaten later. Then Gretchen pets her Yamper. "God boy." she then looks towards Zach. "Yeah, we know what to do. Just follow our lead and try not to get attacked too much, the gophers are real nasty when in these parts than in the backyards."

Ryan nods. "Take it easy dude, and just calm down and if there is a Gopher, then hit it with this." He hands Zach a trowel and then goes on to harvest the carrots.

Zach accepts this and he goes on to help with the harvest, but then he asks. "Mind telling me why Regina and Chastity aren't here? I thought they would come along and wanna help us."

"Same here." Gretchen stops and she is carrying a large radish. "But they informed me that they are gonna be having a family reunion somewhere else, and to show the other family members just how changed they are and that they are a couple. This is good for them, so it's just the rest of us doing this."

They hear a gopher running and screaming as Yamper chases the little thing. "Good boy, Yamper!" They then continue in harvesting the vegetables and fighting off the gophers.

(The Sheep's Pen.)

Simon and Stella are already handling this, and they both sheer and manage to calm down all of the sheep's and make sure they don't panic or get upset at what is happening to their warm wool. Simon then stacks the wool into the basket, and then he goes over and helps Stella again, and then he sees Stella sheering one of the sheep and then she piles up the wool.

Simon then places the label. "There we go, some nice and fresh Hunnicut wool, fresh for the folks of Royal Woods. This is fun and the sheep are friendly." He pets the head from one of the sheep.

Stella then has an idea. "When we are done here, how's about we go and sheer the wool from the Mareep and Wooloo?"

Simon smiles at that idea. "Well then, we should get our Pokémon farming style on!" They both continue to sheer the sheep, and Stella even styles the sheep as she sheers them, making them look fabulous.

(At the Barn.)

Peeking through the door are Lincoln, Jordan and Leslie and they spot the bovine they need to milk, all three bovines to be precise. They then approach them and then Jordan calls out. "Remember us ladies?" The cows all moo and stay still and so Lincoln, Jordan and Leslie grab some buckets and go over to the cows, and then they begin to milk them.

Jordan then looks towards Leslie. "Are you doing alright there?"

Leslie is trying her best, and she manages to milk the cow. "This is kinda hard, and kinda weird and awkward. But this is how hard work is done, and I know why I was chosen for this. Because the rest of you guys don't want me to handle the other hard jobs, right?"

Lincoln sighs. "We're doing this to keep you from harming yourself, sorry Leslie. But this is for the best, and also this was all Delilah's idea."

Leslie nods and they continue to milk the cows. Deep down, Leslie doesn't wanna feel like she is gonna be dragging everyone to keep her safe, because she wants to do her part and help out as best as she can, and not be treated like she needs all the protection from the world.

(Hours Later.)

After so much work done, they are all finished and they begin to label and stock up on everything, and then the group sees Liam, Tabby and Delilah return with the massive harvest of corn and wheat and then Liam goes over. "Well, now that is something. You guys made this harvest the best and on time and wow that is so many!"

Lincoln smirks. "Well, some of us learned from the best mentor in farming and hard work and we came to deliver the help you needed, we got a lot of stuff. Mind giving the report?"

Hope nods and she has the list. "Alright, so we got more than ten baskets of eggs, fifteen jugs of milk, more than thirty baskets of vegetables from the garden and fifty boxes filled with fresh wool, and less than ten boxes filled with wool from Wooloo, and some from Mareep to be sent to the local power plant to be stripped of the electric currents within."

"Dang!" they all see Memaw, and she is on her wheel chair wheeled by Rusty. "As if getting some dang good manicures and pedicures from this red-head was great enough, I get to see the harvest more than it was before?! Now that's what I call a heavy duty farm-style multi-tasking team work! Ya'll did amazing and I love the way the sheep look too!"

They all see the sheep interact with each other and showing off their fantastic styled wool and they see Stella and wave to her and she waves back. "Lookin' good sheep!" She then looks towards Liam and memaw. "We also did the rest of the other minor chores."

Clyde then speaks that one. "We helped feed the animals, then we helped fix the water pump and that didn't seem hard since it was caused by a crack in the pipes, we then help chase away the remaining gophers with the eagles help and we found the seeds in the barn and we replanted the vegetable garden." He then puts the list away. "You're welcome."

Liam and Memaw are jaws dropped from this and then memaw Hunnicut cheers. "Well, yee-haw to that one, kids! Let's go inside and have some delicious pie, Red here made it with my supervision and it took him five tries to get them right."

Rusty chuckles nervously. "Well, at least now I know how to make pie." He also has other ideas. 'If we have a cooking or baking project, then I know what to make!'

They all walk to the house of the Hunnicut family, and then Delilah asks Leslie. "So, how was working with cow milking?"

Leslie chuckles. "Well, it did seem kinda weird, but then it wasn't and it wasn't so hard. I liked this hard work and one day, when the time comes... I wanna do this again, this was fun and awesome!" Delilah smiles hearing this, her little sister is now seeing how good hard work can be and the rewards will be worth it, because they're gonna get some pie!

(Somewhere outside of Royal Woods and nearing Beaverton.)

The night is here, and some folks are walking in the darkness of the forest and the two figures are not pleased at what has gone down, but one of them is all too familiar for us, and her name is Karen Houseman. But she is not alone, who the heck is her partner in this?

Puggy Gomez.
14 year old teenager. Short brunette hair dyed with some red on it, he is wearing a dark long sleeve shirt with a logo of a burning skull, and a black leather jacket, long blue jeans and brown boots.

He is capable of making traps and setting them up and he has fast strike combat moves that are close to being called a ninja, and he knows karate. He is responsible for stealing a lot of stuff from people's homes, he was caught red handed when trying to steal from a business company CEO's house. His dad is the reason for this, because his father once worked for a mob group, but died.

Karen's current appearance: long red shirt with a black punk leather, blue skirt, blue and white sneakers

Karen sighs in relief, and they look upon the town of Royal Woods from the cliff nearby. "Thanks again for saving me from that dumb place, Puggy." She then kisses the boy's cheek and this makes him blush.

Puggy then sees something. "Let's take that truck parked over there, we already ditched the last ride and no way are we headed to Great Lakes City, that truck there looks like it is headed for Royal Woods. Let's go, girlfriend."

Karen chuckles hearing this and the duo go to the semi-truck carrying some new arcade games parts for Gus' Games n' Grub, and the duo board inside as the driver is peeing by the tree nearby and then he goes back into the truck and he drives off.

"Alright, we are in and our next stop is that town that is the reason why you were locked up" said Puggy.

Karen nods and she soon recalls her plan and she becomes angry. "By the time we make it to that dumb town, I am gonna find that Leslie Silver, and I am gonna beat her so hard and make her my god damn servant, and as for her little baby inside? Well, I don't give a shit and I'd rather see it dead!"

Puggy snickers and grins. "Well then, let's go and cause some trouble and make them all pay for what you have been through." The truck proceeds to drive and head for Royal Woods, Michigan.
