Bella/Draco. Little bit different then I'm use to. Bella and Draco have been pin pals for a few years now. Bella is a muggleborn and even though Draco was raised to hate who she is he can't because she's the only one that has been there for him no matter what. When his 7th years comes and his world is on the brink of darkness and death he stops writing her in fear the dark lord will find out. Bella has had a rough time. First the Cullen's leave her, then Jake abandons her and Charlie dies all in her last year of Muggle School. Draco was the only one to always be there for her and deep down she knows she's always loved him even if they've never met. She tried to love Edward and while she had in a way Draco was always in her mind. Plus the fact she never trusted the Cullen's enough to tell them she was a witch should have been a red flag for her. When Draco stops writing for no reason at all Bella gets worried. Tired of her life in the muggle world now that her father is gone she packs up and takes the first floo to Wizarding Britain. Ending up in Diagon alley during the darkest time they've ever seen gets her kidnapped by the snatchers and taken to Malfoy Manner. Draco has never felt fear before until he saw his Bella on her knees in front of Voldemort and the death eaters. To make him prove himself he is forced to rape Bella after she's tortured. He hates himself for what he has no choice but to do and Bella forgives him instantly knowing he had no choice. When the war is over Bella and Draco's life changes in more ways than one. Rape will be mentioned but I won't go into graphic detail. Mature content. I don't own anything. Won't follow book much as I will not be killing everyone off.
Bella has never been more scared in her life then the moment she was tossed at the feet of the darkest and scariest wizard she'd ever seen. She should have been more careful when she flooed to Britain to try and locate Draco. There world was not a good place right now which she now knows is why he stopped writing her. Seeing him standing there next to his parents with fear on his face begging her not to oust him made her heart clench. She would never betray him. Thank merlin she had a natural occlumency barrier that no one could break. Seeing as the Dark lord Voldemort couldn't access her mind he decided to torture her instead and then throw her in the dungeons. He was pissed. Apparently Harry Potter had escaped just a few days before and the Malfoys were paying the price. Bella could hear them fighting and being tortured above her cell as she lay on the floor in pain. She felt so worried for Draco.
Finally the next day she was brought back upstairs by Greyback the nasty werewolf that liked to lick her neck and made her want to vomit. He tossed her to the ground.
"Leave her be Greyback. If young Malfoy doesn't do what he is ordered to do you'll get your turn." Voldemort hissed and Greyback leered down at her. She refused to look at Draco. Not wanting to make this worse on him or give away that they technically know each other.
"Please." She whispered but was ignored.
"You know what to do Draco. Do it now or you and your parents will die. I am tired of Malfoy's disappointing me time and time again. This is your punishment." Voldemort hissed. Bella peeked up at them and saw a war waging behind Draco's eyes. His parents felt sad and pity for him but had no power to stop what was going on. Draco closed his eyes and nodded.
Invisible binds bound Bella to the floor on her back as her clothes where vanished. Death eaters around her laughed as Draco walked forward and fell to the floor on his knees above her.
"No." she yelled trying to break free but without her wand she was powerless. Draco fell over her and buried his head in her neck.
"I am so sorry Bella. If I don't we both die and for you it will be so much worse if Greyback gets you." He said so softy she knew only she was able to hear. She had tears rolling down her face. She knew, knew what he was ordered to do to her. To a Mudblood to put her in her place as she heard Voldemort saying in the back ground. She knew he would hate himself forever for this so she cried and turned her head.
"Do it. I forgive you." She said so silently she knew only he heard before she closed her eyes and screamed in pain before eventually blacking out.
"I'm so sorry." She heard whispered in her ear again before she was thrown back in her cell and she left darkness take her.
When she came to again she had no clue how long she'd been out. Opening her eyes slowly it was really bright and she was lying in a bed. She was no longer in a dungeon but a hospital like area.
"Finally awake dear." She heard and turned to see an older women peering down at her. She put a potion to her lips and Bella drank it feeling a lot better than she had moments before.
"Where am I?" She whispered to the women.
"You're in the hospital wing of Hogwarts." The women said and Bella nodded. She knew what Hogwarts was. It was the school Draco attended but she didn't know how she came to be there.
"Why am I here?" she ask and the women nodded to the side. Turning she saw a male striding towards her wearing all black with his neck bandaged up. He waved the women away who left with a huff before he sat at the chair next to her bed.
"Can you tell me your name?" he said.
"Bella Swan." She told him and he nodded.
"I am Severus Snape. Potion professor here at Hogwarts. I am also an ex death eater and a spy for the order that was fighting against the dark lord. I am also Draco Malfoy's godfather." He told her and she sat up quickly only regretting it as her vision swarmed quickly and she laid back down.
"Where is Draco?" she ask him and he raised a brow.
"Draco and his parents have been taken to Azkaban Prison to awake trial for their crimes as death eaters. Potter defeated the dark lord a week ago. You have been out of it for over a week. Draco sent me word before the battle began of you and what had happened to you, who you were to him and he begged me to get you out of his manor before the battle. He wasn't sure what side would win but knew which side I was truly on. When the dark lord and his death eaters left to attack Hogwarts I apperated to Malfoy Manor and brought you to a safe location in the castle. I healed you the best I could and went to fight. I nearly lost my life but as you can see I have survived. I informed Poppy here where you were safely tucked away and she then brought you here for proper healing Miss Swan. You are very lucky to be alive." He told her and she nodded.
"I am correct in assuming you didn't know what was going on here before you left the safety of America to come here?" he ask her and she nodded.
"I had nothing for me there anymore and Draco was all I had. Even though we'd never met we've been friends for a couple years now. Then he stopped writing I thought something happened to him. I flooed to Diagon Alley and was picked up almost instantly by the snatchers I think they were called. They ask me who I was and my blood status. I told them the truth. I didn't know the danger muggleborns were in here. When they took me to Malfoy Manor I pretended I had no idea who any of them were. I didn't want Draco in any trouble for knowing me as it was clear he was in a dangerous situation too." She said and Severus nodded.
"You very well saved Draco and his parent's lives in doing that. The dark lord would have killed them if he knew their son had befriended a muggle born witch years ago." He told her and she nodded.
"What shape am I in now?" she ask him and he sighed.
"You suffered several strong rounds of cruciatus curse as well as whip marks on your back. Some will scar unfortunately. You have 3 broken rips that punctured your lungs but that has been healed and you were raped." He told her and she nodded tear falling down her face.
"You had some tearing down there I'm assuming you had never been with anyone before?" he ask her and she shook her head.
"Poppy was able to heal all the damage but you will be sore for some time." He told her and she nodded.
"He didn't want to do it. They forced him. If he didn't the dark lord was going to kill him and his parents and give me to Greyback." She told him and Severus nodded.
"Then as horrible as what has happened to you is I can promise you if is far better then what Greyback would have done to you Miss Swan." He told her and she nodded.
"Is there any chance Draco will be freed? He isn't evil. I know him. How could he if he's friends with a muggleborn witch." Bella said and Severus sighed.
"The only reason I wasn't arrested is because Dumbledore before his death left memories to prove my innocents. Harry Potter is planning to testify that Draco and his parents helped him during the battle and were basically held captive in there manor by the dark lord. If you would attest to allowing me some of your letters to prove his friendship with you that could also help. Other then that I'm not sure what will happen." He said and Bella nodded.
"I'll give you them all. I have them in my bag. I have no idea where my bag and wand is though. It was on me when I was taken." She said and Severus pulled them from his pocket.
"Draco hid them in his room when he got the chance and told me where they were." He said and handed them over. She smiled and summoned the letters and gave them to him. He made copies and gave her back the originals.
"Thank you. Hopefully this will help. In the meantime as I doubt you have anywhere to go I am going to offer you a place at my home in Spinners end. The castle is going to be under repairs for some time and we all have to leave as soon as we can so it can repair. My home is in the muggle world, it's small but there's enough room. Until you are better and can think of your next step." He said and she nodded and thanked him. He told her they would be leaving the next morning and to get rest. She nodded and slipped back to sleep.
Living with Severus Snape was a lot like living with Charlie. He was quiet and didn't talk much and neither did she. He read a lot which she did as well and once he felt better he spent a lot of time in his lap brewing potions for injured people from the battle.
She met Harry Potter who made it a point to come and check on Snape after they left
Hogwarts. Snape had been annoyed but allowed the visit for a few minutes before telling Potter to get out. Bella had chuckled at that.
She missed Draco though and was on pins and needles leading up to the Malfoy Trial. She hoped Potter was able to help.
Three weeks after her recue her life took another drastic turn as she started becoming sick almost daily. She couldn't keep anything down and was constantly feeling dizzy. Finally after four days of vomiting she went to Severus.
"I was worried this might happen." He told her with a sigh.
"Your pregnant Bella." He told her and she fainted.
When she woke an hour later she sat up in her bed. What the hell was she going to do now?
Making her way downstairs she wrapped her arms around her body looking around the house to find it empty and a note on the fridge.
I had to run out for a while. Don't wait up. Well talk when I return.
Sighing she decided to read for a while before trying to get some sleep. Draco's trial should be soon and she wasn't sure what the hell she was going to do now that she was pregnant.
Draco and his parents were confused when they were brought from Azkaban to the ministry earlier then there trial date. Severus, Potter and Kingsley the new minister was all waiting for them when they arrived.
"Have a seat." Kingsley said and they nodded.
"Your trial has been changed to a mediation meeting. I have heard from both Potter and Snape as well as looked over the other evidence they have brought to me. I read your testimony you gave last week under veritusurm. I know you have all had a change or heart. Maybe later then we would have liked but you helped none the less in the end and in light of recent events I think I have made my decision." The minister said.
"I will release the three of you on some conditions. You will help in the restoration of Hogwarts, You will be on your best behavior from here on out. One toe out of line and I will revoke this release. You will report to me at any time I feel the need to visit to insure you are not straying or adopting the old way of thinking and you will pay a fine." Kingsley said and all three Malfoy's nodded in agreement and there cuffs where vanished.
"You all have a second chance. Don't waste it." Kingsley told them before leaving.
"Thank you. Both of you." Lucius told both his longtime friend and Potter. Potter left after that and Severus stayed behind.
"We need to talk first. Let's head to your manor." He told them and they nodded and apperated home. The Malfoy's knew there manor would need to be cleansed of all the dark left behind from the dark lord living there but they were glad to be home.
"What's going on Severus?" Narcissa ask as they sat in the study.
"The main reason the Minister allowed this is because of the news I brought him. Draco I think you need to tell your parents the truth about Bella." Severus said and Draco nodded.
"The muggleborn witch that was captured after Potter escaped. The one that I was forced to, well you get it. I knew her. She was captured because she came here looking for me but she didn't say anything once she saw what was really going on. She has natural occlumency shields that no one can get past. Her staying silent saved me for sure." He said and his parents nodded.
"How is it you knew her? From school?" his mother ask and he shook his head.
"No. A few years ago I found an ad in the profit to pin pals. I sighed up just to see who I would get and I got her. She's from America she's a year older than me. We've been talking weekly if not daily for 2 years now. I care a great deal about her. She's been there for me when no one else was and when the dark lord moved in I cut off writing her to keep her safe but I didn't tell her why. She must of came here to try and find me." He said waiting for his father to freak out because he cared for a muggle born. However, he was shocked when he saw nothing but understanding in his eyes.
"I'm sorry for what happened with your friend Draco. I know now why it was so hard for you." His father told him and he nodded.
"Now back to Miss Swan. She gave me a copy of all your letters to submit for evidence on your behalf to prove your friendship with a muggleborn to help your case. Also she has been staying with me since I rescued her from here and took her for healing." Severus told them and they nodded.
"She is also pregnant with your child Draco. That is why Kingsley moved this forward. He knew that young witch would need you, if you planned to be a part of your child's life. She has no one and nowhere to turn to." Severus told them and waited for the three Malfoy's to think about what he just said.
"And your positive the child is Draco's" Lucius ask and Severus nodded.
"She's not left my sight since she was released and she was a virgin that night. The tearing Poppy had to fix was severe." He told them and they winced in sympathy for the young girl.
"I plan to take care of both Bella and our child. I care about her, a lot. It's my fault she's in this mess. I don't give two knuts about blood purity anymore. Bella is the mother of my child and I want to make this work." Draco said daring his father to say something.
"I agree with Draco. This has taught us that we were wrong and we need to rethink everything we've always been taught." Narcissa said pinning her husband with a look. He looked at both his wife and son. The two people who mean the world to him and nodded. He had done enough damage to his family trying to follow the ideals his father beat into him. He was tired of fighting. He just wanted to enjoy his life with his family.
"I agree as well. This girl has done nothing wrong. She was brought into this by mistake and is caring the next Malfoy. I could care less what her blood line is. We owe it to her to make this right." Lucius said and his family smiled in relief. His time in Azkaban had changed him for sure.
When Severus apperated back home that night Bella was already asleep and with Draco and his family coming in the morning to see her and talk he knew hopefully her life was going to get better. He liked the young witch and hated what has happened to her.
When Bella woke the next morning she showered and dressed before heading down stairs. When she rounded the corner into the sitting room she froze.
Sitting around the sitting room with Snape was Draco and his parents. She stood froze. She didn't know what was going on.
"What?" she said. She didn't know what to say. Draco stood and made his way over towards her slowly. He didn't know if she would be scared of him after what happened. Standing in front of her he laid his hand on her arm glad she didn't flinch away from him as he gave her a small smile.
"They let us out last night. Thanks to Potter, Severus and you. Severus told us about the baby and about how you've been. We came as soon as we could. I…I am so sorry about what happened Bella. I never would have guessed. I never wanted you hurt." Draco told her and she could see in his eyes how hard this was on him. How much he was blaming himself. She hated to see him hurting.
She threw her arms around his neck and buried her face against his chest. He was shocked at first but hugged her back as relief washed over him.
"I'm sorry. I never should have come without knowing what was going on. I never blamed you. I know you wouldn't have hurt me if there was any other way." She told him as he sighed as he pulled her closer towards him. He had wished for a long time to meet her but once the dark lord returned he knew it was impossible. He wished there meeting would have gone differently but he was so glad to finally be able to hug her.
"Miss Swan." She heard and pulled away from Draco and looked over. His father who looked so much like Draco though she could tell he was still recovering from the war was sitting in the arm chair looking over towards her.
"We had no idea about you. Draco never told us he was corresponding with a muggleborn from America and while I know why he kept it from us because of our pureblood beliefs I am glad he had someone there for him when he needed to talk. I was not there as I should have been and I plan to work on making that up to both my wife and my son as our beliefs have drastically changed due to what we've been through." Lucius told her and she nodded as Draco lead her over to sit between himself and Severus.
"Thank you Sir." She told him and he nodded.
"I have no idea how you sit here after the amount of torture you were put under. Grown men have died under far less pain." He told her and she shrugged.
"Well, honestly I've survived Vampire venom running through my system after being broken by said Vampire. I think my pain tolerance have increased since then." She said and they all looked over at her in shock.
"How are you not a Vampire?" Narcissa ask her so she told them everything she'd been through before she came to Britain. She told them about the Cullen's and James and Edward's betrayal as well as Jake's and her father's death which led her to flee America.
They were all shocked even Draco who didn't know most of what she had just told them. They all realized that this young Muggleborn just might be stronger then any of them to have survived all that pain and heartache.
"What about your mom?" Narcissa ask the young girl she now had an instant like for.
"My mother and I haven't ever really been close. She raised me after she left my father but was never comfortable with my magic. When she remarried she didn't want him to know at all so I moved back in with my father. I haven't talk to her in a long time and don't plan to." Bella told them and they nodded and left it at that.
"We want to invite you to move into our manor with us. You are pregnant with Draco's child and we owe it to you to make this right and we want to be involved in the babies' life." Lucius told her. She looked over towards Draco who nodded laying his hand on her stomach. He could feel it. Feel his child's magic under his hand and it filled him with so much hope for the future.
Bella agreed to move in with the Malfoy's. She didn't have anywhere else to go and she knew she would need help with this pregnancy. She didn't have the money to pay for it and she didn't want to do it alone so she agreed. Severus also told her he'd be visiting a lot as he had a room there too and when he wasn't at Hogwarts helping with the repairs he'd be visiting Malfoy manor as the Malfoy's were the only family he had.
So they packed up her things and she moved into Malfoy Manor that day and was given the room across from Draco's. The house elves had worked all night and day to rid the manor of anything left over from the dark lord. They even redecorated most all the rooms to make it homier and Bella was very glad for that. Her room was decorated in very light shades and she had her own bathroom and view of the back gardens. It was nicer than any room she'd ever seen before. Even nicer then the Cullen's home and she thought that had been fancy.
Lucius and Narcissa went at this grandparent thing with gusto. The next day he called for the best healer money could buy to come over and give her a checkup. Draco hovered near her the whole time the witch was checking her out.
"You are coming along good. You still have some lingering nerve damage from the torture you sustained a few weeks back from the records Poppy kept. I want you to take it easy during this pregnancy. If you're tired rest and I want you to take a few extra potions to help with the nerve damage. There pricey and take a good potions master to brew but there safe to take and should help as you start to gain weight. You also still have some scaring down below but it appears to be healing nicely. The potions will continue to help with that." She said and Draco nodded.
"Whatever she needs just write it down. We know just the potions master to call." He told her and the healer nodded and handed Bella the list she would need as well as dos and don'ts of pregnancy.
Once she was gone Draco and Bella went and told Lucius what was said and he sent the list to Severus right away.
"I feel so bad you all are paying for everything. I don't know how to begin paying you back." She told Lucius who scoffed and waved her off.
"You won't pay us a thing. You are caring the next Malfoy. That is very important to us and we plan to take care of everything. You're giving us a second chance to live so get use to being spoiled because that's just how it is in this family." He told her and she chuckled and nodded knowing she couldn't change his mind. Head strong purebloods she was dealing with and she knew she wasn't going to win that argument.
As the days went by Bella and Draco became closer and closer much to his parent's happiness. They adored Bella now and wanted her as a Malfoy sooner rather than later and when they saw them kissing in the gardens Narcissa was ecstatic. Her son was falling in love and making her a grandmother. Yes she was very happy indeed.
"Draco. That Parkinson girl is asking to floo over." Lucius said with a look of disgust on his face that made Bella chuckle. She and Draco were sitting in his room laying on the bed reading over the pregnancy books they ordered trying to come up with names. They didn't know the sex yet but they wanted to have some options and neither knew next to nothing about pregnancy or babies and wanted to try and research as much as they could.
"Who is this girl?" Bella ask and Draco groaned.
"Ugh Pansy. I told you about her in some of our letters. She's in my year at school and was always hanging all over me hoping to be the next lady Malfoy. She's such a pain in the ass." Draco said and Bella chuckled patting him on the head as he helped her sit up. He was very attentive to her that it made her melt each time.
"Well I need to talk to your dad anyways about something so I'll leave you and the leech alone so you can let her down gently." She told him before hoping off the bed just as the girl in question came striding into the room. She looked every bit the stuck up pureblood witch and her face fell when she saw Bella and Draco had been on his bed. Lucius watched the two witches size each other up before Bella smirked and turned towards Draco and planted a deep passionate kiss on his lips before pulling away and walking towards the door.
"Don't be long babe the healer will be here in an hour." She called back not even saying shit to Pansy on the way out and Lucius chuckled as he followed his son's witch down the hall to his office wondering what she wanted to talk to him about.
"Drakie who was that?" Pansy ask once Bella and his father left. Draco smiled at the kiss before turning towards the girl that made his head hurt every time she opened her mouth.
"That's Bella. She's the mother of my unborn child. She lives here with us. She's my betrothed" Draco said not sure what to call Bella as they just started getting close but he needed Pansy off his back.
"What. But Drake she doesn't even look like a pureblood and is she American." Pansy said and Draco rolled his eyes.
"She's not thank merlin. We could care less about that shit anymore and yes she is from America." He told her walking towards his door and walking into the hall knowing the chit would follow him.
"How the hell can you even think of having a brat with a fucking Mudblood Draco." She hissed and Draco rounded on her quickly and pointed his wand at her face.
"Do not ever use that word around me or my family again Pansy. The war is over and we have moved on. Bella is part of this family now and the next lady Malfoy. Go find another bank account to leech onto and don't ever show your face here again." He hissed and Pansy gasp in fear before fleeing to the floo leaving quickly. She knew what would happen to her if she stayed in the manor after the heir revoked her invitation. You never want the house to turn on you. It's not pretty.
"What did you want to talk to me about?" Lucius ask when they reached his office.
"I need some advice and I have no idea where to even start. I got a letter from gringotts in America. They finished reviewing my father's will that I gave them after he died. He left me everything he had which wasn't a lot of money but he had a life insurance policy, his pension and the house. The money they put in my vault which I need to have transferred here but his house still needs to be dealt with. I don't plan to ever live back in Forks again, even without all the shit I went though there I never liked the place and I want to raise my child in the wizarding world. I need to go back once more to pack up the things I want to keep and store them in my vault and sell the house. Do you know of anyone that can do business in both muggle and magical real-estate that can handle the selling of the house for me?" she ask and Lucius nodded.
"I do know someone. I don't know if he can work in American but he may be able to help find someone trustworthy who can. I can also take you to Gringotts today. Transferring the vault will only take a few moments and once we set up a meeting with the agent Draco and I can take you back to your old home and help you pack up what you want to keep." He told her and she nodded in thanks. She knew he'd be the right one to talk to about that. She had no clue when it came to business type stuff.
A week later Lucius had found an agent that had a licenses in America in both muggle and wizarding worlds. He was happy to work with the Malfoy's and help Bella out once he did some research he was sure he could sell the house quickly and for a good profit as her father had paid it off years ago.
They apperated to the woods outside her old house easily and met the older wizard in the front yard.
"Mr. Malfoy a pleasure to meet you." He said shaking Lucius's hand.
"Thank you for meeting us quickly. This is Bella Swan she owns the home." He said and Bella shook the man's hand along with Draco as they made their way inside.
"This house is prime real estate in this area I already have a few offers of people interest. It's just a matter of what deal you'll want to take. I can handle all the paperwork so you won't even need to return for the sale." He told her and they nodded.
"That sounds good. Well spend some time packing everything she wants to keep and everything else she wants to sell with the home." Lucius told the man who nodded and made several notes and measurements in the house before leaving them alone to pack.
As Lucius was talking with the man Bella wondered upstairs to her old room. She had packed most of her stuff when she left but she sat on the foot of the bed and just thought of the old memories she had there.
She was still sitting there when Draco came and found her.
"You ok?" he ask her and she nodded and sighed.
"Yeah just memories you know." She told him and he nodded in understanding. Walking around the room he was looking at some pictures on the wall when something caught on his cloak. Looking down there was a loose board on the floor that snagged against his robes.
"What's this?" he ask bending down and lifting the loose board. Frowning Bella stood and went over towards him and he started pulling things out from underneath.
"Hiding spot?" he ask her and she shook her head as she lifted a bracelet off the floor and she narrowed her eyes.
"That son of a bitch." She said using her wand to summon everything out from underneath the floor. Lucius walked in at that time as well.
"What's wrong?" Lucius ask as Bella was just kneeling on the floor staring at a pile of muggle things.
"Bella." Draco ask when she picked up a photo with a frown on her face before ripping in in half and handing it to Draco. He took a look at it and his browed raised.
"Is this the Vampire?" he ask her and she nodded.
"When they left me lying on the ground in the woods crying he came into my room and took everything they had given me for my birthday and all my pictures to make it seem as if they were never here. I can't believe he hid them under my floor. Bastard." She said as Lucius looked at the ripped picture with a sneer.
"Seems to be a little touched in the head." Lucius told her handing it back. She sat it on the floor and waved her wand as they all caught fire quickly before going out all the gifts and pictures now dust.
"Maybe he did it so his allure would stay around longer even after he was gone." Draco said vanishing the mess and helping Bella up. She looked up at him quickly and frowned.
"I didn't think of that. It's possible. They used it on me all the time to get me to agree with what they wanted. I had serious withdrawals for weeks after they left." She told them and Draco and Lucius shared a look. They would need to insure those Vampires stay away from Bella in the future.
In less than an hour they packed everything she wanted to take. Most of it being sent to her vault to be stored and some of it she was taking back to the manor with her. Once they were done Bella and the two Malfoy men walked outside and Bella turned and gave one last look to the house she shared with her father before sighing. It was time to move on.
None of them saw the wolf hiding in the woods watching as they disappeared from view.
Thanks to the potions Severus insured she was stocked up with Bella healed nicely in the weeks after selling her father's home. She didn't have any more nerve damage due to the torture anymore and she wasn't sore in her lady parts anymore which Bella was glad for. Draco always looked so upset when she winched as she sat but she just smiled and told him she was fine.
They ended up being invited to the wedding of Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley and Bella decided they should all go. She didn't know either of them but she knew if people were going to start forgiving the Malfoys they needed to be seen making new friends so to make Bella happy they agreed to go and a very reluctant Severus got forced to tag along as well.
Bella allowed Narcissa to take her shopping for a dress that wouldn't make her look fat as she was starting to slightly show. Bella wanted to look nice if for nothing but to not embarrass Draco who she knew would be just as dashing as always.
She picked out a nice sun dress that wouldn't be too tight but fit well. Narcissa was a genius when it came to clothes she found and the woman was already buying cute clothes for the baby in natural colors. It made Bella so happy they were looking forward to this. She knew her own mother would not have been as excited as they were, another reason she never planned to contact her again.
When Bella was ready she walked across the hall and knocked on Draco's door. He opened it looking just as she knew he would. Sexy in the nicest suit she'd ever seen.
"Wow. Your beautiful." She told him before she could stop herself and she blushed as she looked back at his handsome face. It amazed her how good looking he was. He could give any Vampire she knew a run for their money and he was all hers.
"I was just about to say the same thing to you my dear." He said taking her hand gently and pulling her into his room.
"Well hopefully I don't look too fat and embarrasse you in front of others." She said looking at herself in Draco's mirror and she saw him frown as he walked behind her and wrapped his arms around her body laying his hands on her belly.
"You could be wearing a fucking bloody paper sack and still would be nothing but beautiful to me. Bella there is absolutely nothing you can do to embarse me. I love you and I'm proud to stand at your side." He told her and she teared up as her eyes met his in the mirror.
"I love you too Draco I always have." She said and he turned her around and pulled her into a kiss that damn near stopped her heart.
She'd never been kissed like this before, there previous ones while just as sweet were gentle and nice, this one he laid it on her good that was for sure and with her pregnancy hormones she was instantly wet and moaned into his mouth as she drug both hands in his hair and tried to get as close to him as she could.
Draco gently as he could backed her into the Mirror and kissed the life out of her. He'd wanted to so bad since she moved in but was afraid she wouldn't be ready so they kept it to gentle kisses here and there but with her looking so beautiful he just couldn't help himself.
A throat clearing pulled them apart and they turned to see Lucius smirking at the door dressed and ready to go.
"If you're ready we are about to leave." He said chuckling at their red and panting faces. Bella was bright red when Draco turned back to her but she had a smile on her face and he kissed her again quickly before pulling back and fixing his hair again.
"We do need to go. I don't want Potter bitching that I was late to his wedding." Draco said and Bella laughed as she too fixed her hair before taking his hand and leading her to the floo room.
Bella could tell the Malfoy's were nervous. They had never had a good relationship with the Weasley's and no one had really seen them much since they got out of Azkaban other then when Lucius and Narcissa would go and help Severus repair Hogwarts but Bella knew if people really tried to get to know them they would see what she sees. Good loving people that just wanted a chance.
When they flooed over they were greeted by Mr. And Mrs. Weasley. There was a brief moment of silence before Molly Weasley put her hand out and allowed Narcissa to shake it. Lucius did the same to Mr. Weasley and the tension was lifted.
"And you must be Bella right. Severus has told us about you a few times." Molly said shaking her hand and she nodded.
"Yes ma'am." She replied and they smiled at her.
"I hear you and Draco are having a baby. How exciting for you. You must be tickled to have a grandbaby." Molly ask turning towards Narcissa who nodded a bright smile on her elegant face.
"Oh we are indeed. I'm going crazy buying things. I can't wait till we find out what it is." She said and her and Molly walked off to talk grandbabies as Molly just had her first one right after the war ended.
Mr. Weasley pulled Lucius into a conversation as they walked behind there wives and Bella smiled at Draco as they walked shortly behind them outside. The whole yard had been turned into a wedding wonderland and Bella smiled as she watched everyone moving around getting everything ready.
"Malfoy glad you could make it." They heard two voices say and Bella turned to see 2 identical red headed twins.
"Yes were glad to be invited." Draco told them keeping his arm around Bella's waist.
"And this is?" one of the twins said and Draco nodded.
"This is Bella, Bella these are the Weasley Twins Fred and George right?" he said to them and they nodded and kissed her hand. She chuckled at their joker like attitude.
"You didn't go to school with Draco did you?" one of them ask and she shook her head.
"I'm American I went to school in Salem and when I graduated finished up muggle school after." She said and they smirked.
"Got you a hot cougar huh Malfoy." They joked and Bella laughed as Draco shrugged but smirked. It never bothered him she was alittle older.
"Honestly. You two knock it off." They heard and a hand smacked them both in the back of the head. The twins walked off after that to tease someone else and Draco went tense next to her.
"Don't mind them they have no manners. I'm Hermione Granger and this is my finance Ron Weasley his sister is getting married today." Hermione said and Bella shook both their hands. She knew who they were of course and she knew Draco was expecting them to be pissed he was here.
"Thank you. I'm excited to see a wizarding wedding for the first time. I've never been to one." She said and Hermione nodded.
"I had heard you were muggleborn. I am as well. I have to admit I didn't believe it at first. There was no way the Draco Malfoy we went to school with would fall for a muggleborn but here you are. And were happy for you both. I hear you are having a little baby." Hermione said and Bella nodded.
"Yep. Were equally excited and terrified at the same time." She said and Hermione and Ron laughed.
"I bet. I'd faint for sure if Mione' told me she was pregnant. Balls of steel you got there Malfoy." Ron said and Draco relaxed some and nodded.
They heard yelling from inside and Hermione sighed.
"Ginny's hair is not doing what she wants. Fleur and I are trying to calm her down. Better get back in there. See you later." She said as she walked off with Ron to make sure the bride and groom were ready.
"See not so bad." Bella told Draco who sighed and nodded.
"It's just odd you know. We've all hated each other for so long I didn't expect them to just want to be friendly now." He told her as they moved to take a seat.
"The war changed people babe. Everyone went through a lot and now it's time to heal. You can't do that if you keep a grudge. Oh look Severus finally made it." She said as the man dressed in black came out the door to the floor room and headed towards them.
He was stopped on the way there by Remus Lupin who had survived the battle but his wife did not. He and Severus had become friends while both healing and working on the castle together and Bella smirked when she saw Remus lay a hand on Severus arm in a more then nice gesture. Draco saw it too and chuckled.
"Never thought I'd see that." He whispered kissing her temple as the music started and his parents and Severus came to sit by him.
"Got you a date to this wedding uncle Sev?" he ask with a smirk and Severus gave him is best glare.
"Not a word brat." Severus told him and Bella chuckled hiding her face in Draco's shoulder as the music changed and Potter and Ron Weasley took there spots at the front as Ginny made her way down the isle with Hermione and Fleur behind her.
Bella enjoyed the wedding. It was similar in ways to a muggle one but magically that a wizarding wedding could only be and it made her wonder what one with Draco would be like and that gave her pause. She had never wanted to be married ever way before she met Edward seeing how her parents ended up divorced and unhappy but after everything she'd been though and falling so in love with Draco she knew if he ever ask her, she'd say yes.
