Chapter 29
Bella's POV
Elijah and I walked down the stairs to the living room where everyone was. I could already tell who was here by the tingling on the back of my neck. We walked into the living room and spotted my brother and the guys, the Cullen's, Niklaus, Rebekah, and Marcel.
"Why are we all here? I'd like to get back to bed." I said crossing my arms. Elijah slid a protective arm around my waist. He was tense. I looked at him and saw him staring at Emmett.
"We need your help. It's about the Volturi." Jasper said.
"What about them?" I asked walking in more. Elijah went to the bar while I sat on the couch. Edward looked at Alice.
"Rosalie and Edward were in Seattle the other week. They came across a pregnant girl almost dead, and you know Rosalie, she brought her to Carlisle. Well it's a different kind of fetus." She explained.
"A half breed or hybrid." Niklaus answered. She nodded.
"How do you know?" Reid asked her.
"We tried fluids, foods, everything to keep her nourishment up. But nothing has worked. So we tried blood and it worked out. Her color has returned and she's looking healthier." Jasper said nodding.
"A friend of ours is a hybrid. Reason being is she lied to us about being pregnant and almost got herself killed in the process. My brother gave her his blood in turn." Elijah said handing me a drink. He sat down beside me and placed his free hand on my thigh.
"What's the Volturi got to do with her?" I asked the Cullen's.
"I've seen Irina telling them about a child created wrongfully." Alice said.
"When the baby comes we're gonna need your help showing them what really happened. So they won't kill the baby or the girl. Rosalie won't allow it. Not without a fight." Esme said softly.
"Fighting Felix isn't awful. It's fun and exciting." I said giggling. Emmett laughed. Elijah's hand tightened.
"Not the point, bells." Pogue said. I shrugged. I looked at everyone before biting my lip.
"Yeah. I'll help. But I want to meet the girl first." I said sipping my drink.
"Of course." Edward said nodding.
"Does she want the baby? Does she know what will happen if she continues?" I asked them. They all looked at each other.
"She's deciding. There's also another thing. The wolves." Emmett said looking at the others.
"I got them covered. I'll be there and if it's alright, if they want, the Mikaelsons and my brothers and Kate, may join." I said grabbing Elijah's hand. He looked at me.
"Of course. I will get a grocery list together and have things to prepare for when you arrive." Esme said nodding.
"Awesome. Let me settle some things here and I'll be on my way." I told her. She smiled then they left. I downed my drink and sighed.
"Who's up for a trip to Forks and La Push?" I asked everyone. Before anyone could say anything, Elijah stood up.
"A word Isabella." He said. I got up and followed him to Caleb's study. I leaned against the wooden desk and turned to him.
"Who's Felix?" He asked shutting the door.
"A member of the Volturi guard. He and I like to.. train, while I'm there." I said biting my lip.
"Train?" He asked.
"Well, we do train some, then the lust builds between us, and then we put out the burn so to speak." I said smirking. He growled and started pacing.
"Isabella if this is gonna work between us then I need to know that you are mine and mine alone. No one else's. No more Salvatore brothers, no more Felix, no Pogue. I'm fine with being friends with them but I won't do with another man touching what is mine." He told me.
"I thought we acknowledged the subject of one owning me?" I asked crossing my arms. He shot in front of me. He stared down at me with possessive and angry eyes.
"You are mine. And mine alone. Only one that's to touch you as a lover or more one day is me and only me. If you don't like that then get over it." He said.
"And Jackson? He and I have the connection. Yes we completed it but he's also my friend." I said putting my hands on the top of his chest. I played with the little bit of chest hair he had.
"I'm not fond of it but I'm just gonna have to get use to it." He said sighing. I nodded. I pushed him
against the wall by the door. He grunted and stared down at me. (Think of the way he looked down at Gia in The Originals when she pushed him against the wall.)
"Since we're staking claims, my dear Elijah. Same goes for Hayley, Katherine, and any other suitor that comes along out of nowhere. I will not share you with anyone or anything else. Understood?" I told him.
He grinned and flipped us.
"Understood, my Isabella." He said right before kissing me. I sighed, grabbed a handful of his shirt and pulled him closer. Someone started banging on the door.
"This room isn't sound proof!" Caleb yelled. We pulled away and laughed. I looked up at Elijah.
"Will you be going to Forks with me?" I asked biting my lip. He hummed and put his hands on the sides of my head.
"I'll follow you wherever you go, even until the end of our existence, Isabella. No matter how long that is. Four years, a thousand years, how ever long we decide to live." He said kissing me lightly.
"You've been reading romance novels again." I said teasingly.
"I'm in love with you Isabella. That's never gonna change." He said leaning his forehead against mine.
"It better not. I'll have Klaus stake you with the white oak." I scoffed. He laughed and kissed me again. I put a hand on wrist and the other on his chest.
"I'm in love with you too, Elijah." I whispered. He grinned. We walked out and back to the living room to discuss who was going to Forks with us.
AN: Woohoo!! Bella is calm again! For now, hehehehehe! What will happen in Forks this go around?
AN: Hi all! Sorry for the late postings I've been sick, working, helping out family that's going through a divorce and it's been crazy and tiring! Will post more when I can! I think after a few more chapters I'll end the story and continue the others!
