Chapter 1 : Day 1 of the change
Edward pov:
It has only been a couple of hours since I bit her, since I had to bite her. Who could have ever suspected that my Bella would get caught up in a fight with victoria. My family had easily defeated the newborn army she had created but she knew we weren't there. She caught my smell and found us. Seth tried to take care of Riley but he overpowered him. Then Bella did the one thing I could never repay her for. She cut her own arm letting the blood flow down her arm. For me it was no problem but Riley and victoria went crazy. Out of nothing Seth took out Riley but I was too late. Victoria had gotten to Bella before I could get to Victoria and she had thrown Bella into a tree. Bella was badly Hurt. Out of pure rage I killed Victoria ripping her to pieces out of pure anger. But then I saw Bella and I broke down. I sat next to her and started sobbing. This was all my fault she was badly hurt because of me and I could not think of anything else then one thought. I should have never come back and then it hit me. I need to run away again I am causing her so much pain. But right at that moment i heard Alice her mind. She was furious as she saw me leaving Bella again and she was scolding at me. She loves you and you would leave her again. How could you think such things after you both almost got killed by the volturi. How could you be so stupid thinking that she would be any sort of happy without you. Stop blaming yourself. She would never Blame this on you. At that point I know Alice was right. Bella was always so kind hearted and she would not Blame me altough I am the reason that she is badly hurt. Alice came sitting next to me and slowly watched at a badly wounded Bella. I read alice her mind and what she was thinking that Bella needed to be changed. NO I shouted at her she needs to live a normal and happy life. I can't take those human expieriences away from her. I tried to voice more of my concerns but suddenly Carslisle and Esme came rushing in. Carslisle was visibly worried about his daughter and Esme was almost breaking down seeing Bella so badly hurt. Edward carslise said softly , Alice has seen it, she will die if we do not turn her. She is having multiple internal bleadings and she probably would not make the drive to the hospital. So we have no other choice. We need to save our daughter. I felt so defeated, what had i done to her. The only thing I bring her is misery and hurt and now I need to make a choice for her. What if she hates me after she wakes up. What if she never wants to look at me again. I had no choice. I had to save her. So reluctantly I bit her in her neck, after in her pulse and leg making the venom spread. She started to throw her arms and legs around. Her change had started. We need to get her to the house I heard carslisle saying I told Jasper and Emmet to set up a room for her change. Alice go find Rosalie in town she will need your help staging Bella's death. When all that is done return to the house and we will wait there togheter as a family. Bella will need all of us when she wakes up. As soon as the words where spoken I saw Alice rushing off in the direction of forks. Carslisle picked Bella up and started running towards the house. But I couldn't. What have I done to her i said silently to Esme who was comforting me. You have saved her life she said silently but it was a lie. No I said to my mother. I took away everything from her. Her possibilities to see her family, to have children, to grow old and have grandchildren. I took all that away from her. Lets get back to the house Esme said. Bella needs you to comfort her. I am sure that she will love you as much or even more when she wakes up Esme said firmly. On that note we started running to the house and i went straight to the room where Bella was suffering. Stay with her i need to go help Alice and Rose Carslisle said. Alice saw it in her vision Edward, he told me. She will be gratefull to you for saving her life and she will love you… forever. As carslisle left I saw Jasper and Emmet entering the room. They stayed silent but Emmet placed his hand on my shoulder and gave me a comforting pat. Jasper was sending waves of calmness to me. Never had I been more gratefull to have two brothers like this. It felt good having them with me. I silently asked Jasper why Alice Needed Carslisle's help. He started explaining the plan to me that Alice had told him right before she left off to help me and Bella.
Jasper pov :
Why did Alice need carslisle's help? It was my duty to explain to Edward what plan Alice had come up with. So he said first Rose went to grab Bella's truck and drive it to an abandoned road leading up to the place where you where going to go camping. Or at least where Charlie thought that you were going to be. Then Rose will drive the truck into a tree on the side of the rond and make it look like Bella lost control of the truck. She will fiddle whith the brakes so it looks like the old truck caused her to lose control. Alice needs a body from the morgue at the hospital where Carslisle works. She has chosen a severely burned one and will place it in the driver seat of the crashed truck. They will Light the truck on fire and let it burn. At the hospital carslisle will swap out the dental records of the deceased girl with those of Bella thus making it look like a very unfortunate accident. The rest of the plan I will explain later. Now we need to focus on Bella. I kept sending waves of calmness to Edward. sensing his emotions he was overwhelmed with grief guilt and sadness. I felt like I should step up and explain him that Alice has seen them in a vision. Edward I said firmly, stop feeling guilty about what happened. Its a terrible thing what Victoria has done to her but Alice saw it. she never saw it coming that it would end like this. Well she saw it coming but it was too late. Right before she left to come and see you, she saw you and Bella, she was waking up from her change and the first thing she will do is look at you and tell her how much she loves you. She wont hate you but she will love you. She sacreficed herself for me i heard Edward say. what do you mean I ask him curiously. I was fighting against Victoria and Seth was distracting Riley but Riley overpowered Seth and knocked him out. They where on the edge off killing me when she sliced herself in the arm. Instantly they started running to her. Seth took out Riley but I... I was too slow to save the one person i love so dearly. I stayed silent for a moment sending some calming waves to him. After a couple of minutes i explained him. If she was brave enough to sacrefice herself in front of two vampires. Its because she truly loves you and she would give her own life trying to save yours. She gave her life for you. Now you need to stop feeling sorry and be there for her. Support and comfort her.
