Part of me is consumed with guilt and another, much smaller part, is reminiscent. "I cannot say I miss the lies," Peeta whispers. He does not miss the fighting, the death, or my kisses.

At the same time even with her growing belly Snow isn't convinced. Everyone says it's Peetas, and that's what Panem has to believe, but Snow wonders is it Gales?

Some people say that when a person dies, their soul floats up to Heaven and becomes a star, shining bright in the darkness, so that they never truly leave. But every night bleeds into morning, and every star fades away. Whether every star is a soul, or those souls are buried so far under they will never see the sky again, one thing is certain. They are never coming back.
