As I walked in I felt her gaze on me, as I approach the seat in front of her "I see you haven't been sleeping well" her voice startled me as I wasn't expecting her to say anything until I sat down.

"Sorry I didn't mean to startle you " I look at her she has a worried look on her face. Waving my hands in front of me "don't worry about it, I should have been paying more attention to you, it was completely my fault" I laugh nervously and sat down.

"Saturn I know we haven't talked much since you came here but i want to know what has happened to you for your screams to be so tortured when you do fall asleep, the guards tell me that you spend many nights just walking in the garden or sit in your balcony and look at the stars, look at yourself your falling apart, you need to rest!" I start to feel angry, what did she know of my pain, the traitorous mewmans could come and kill us just for what we are-

"SATURN!" what?- "huh!?" I hadn't realized I had gripped the table so hard and it was smoking from where my hand had caught on purple fire "I...I... I didn't.." moon had stood up and moved closer to me, she put her hands on my cheeks " calm down you are not in danger shh it's alright you are ok" her voice was so calming and sounded just like- "mama…" I whispered as my labored breathing slowed. I blinked as i felt tears fall " sorry…I must make a horrible impression as a queen"

"Saturn it's alright you are but a child whatever you think is your fault that won't let you sleep, please tell me I want to help you!" I look at her to search for the fake intentions that I have gotten so used to seeing when someone tells me they want to help, but I see nothing but honesty … I look down could I really trust her…? Is it worth it to take a chance after being betrayed so many times before… I look at her again, maybe I can trust someone once more

"I wasn't kidding when I said the monsters were being hunted down like animals… I remember it clearly, At first I didn't know that it was happening but i started to notice when there were fewer monsters showing up around the castle... It started a few months after I was crowned I was exploring the secret passages while on the few breaks I had I ended up on the roof of a hidden room that had the magical high commission and my council arguing about something, and I thought that I should have known if there was a meeting since I was the queen but was never alerted there weren't any windows that could be opened so I used the all seeing eye to spy on their conversation… you want to know what they were talking about?" She was listening worriedly "what..?" she whispered.

"How to breed the royal family back to full mewman blood, who I should breed with for it to happen and get rid of every monster so it would never happen again" "THEY WANTED TO DO WHAT!" she shouted, I was surprised no one had ever been mad on my behalf since...my last lifes mother.

As I looked at her in surprise she blushed at her outburst but kept her face fierce, then the guards burst in from the rose bushes surrounding the gazebo and I had to wonder if they were there the whole time and if they just ruined the roses "your majesty are you alright we heard your shout!" "yes i am just fine go back to your posts, I was just talking with my daughter" as the guard looks at me, I looked back unblinking waiting for her to call me a monster, but to my surprise she just saluted "yes your majesty, princess" bowed to me and left with the other guards….

"please saturn tell what happened they didn't touch you right!?" "what? no! I would have killed them where they stood if they tried!" and they did try to pair me up with stuck up noble a few years older than me, that I did get rid of that disgusting perverted-

I sigh that was years ago but I can never let go of my hatred of the MHC "they were also boasting about...killing my grandparents and...Mina Loveberry she yadda yaddad my mother she acted so proud of it…" my eyes were dead as I remember she was going to be that last one I was going to get my revenge on while she knew someone was after them killing them one by one, to make her go crazy, being paranoid about everything not knowing who was after her, seeing the despair and surprise when I was right in front of her-

"Saturn...I know it's hard to talk about this and you might get flashbacks but you aren't there anymore please come back to me I may seem cold but I do care...please" I look up at her " I couldn't let them destroy them, the monsters, they were my people too and the mewmans just wanted them dead I tried to help the monster kids and some mewman kids escape but I couldn't save everyone the magical high commission didn't help in that they also wanted the monsters dead" I looked at her straight in the eyes "so I killed them one by one, do you still want to call me your daughter?" I didn't know I had started to cry again until she hugged me.

"I don't blame you for what you did, you we-are a child and so very hurt they just made it worse, all I can ask of you is to forgive these mewmans, the magical high commission, they aren't the ones you know, please im not asking you to forget what happened to you but please try to forgive them.." I look at her"...I can try.." she smiles "that is all I can ask of you."

After that little conversation we started to talk about random stuff trying to get to know each other better at one point I had gotten so tired that I put my head on the table and couldn't keep my eyes open and at some point I fell asleep feeling the worried look that my new mother was giving me.

When I woke up I was back in my bed with my pajamas on and I had to admit that had been one of the most peaceful dreams I had in awhile.

Stars POV

I had hidden in the rose bushes because I wanted to know what mom was going to talk about with Saturn, was it because she had nightmares and screamed some nights? While I listened to them some more I covered my mouth as tears fell from my eyes, I could never have been able to live through what she had, my hero, my idol killing my own mom and boasting about it even if that mina was from a different dimension was horrifying, as I was listening I was determined to give her the best time of her life the memories of what happened will be but a distant dream after my mom left carrying a sleeping saturn I whispered "I swear saturn your life will be so happy from now on you won't even know what sadness feels like when i'm done!"
