Notes 2: There is one flashback in this chapter and it is seen in the eyes of
Usagi/Princess Cosmicstar. Enjoy!
EPISODE 172: THE RETURN OF SUNRINA
After the last battle, Usagi and the Crystal Sailors returned to the palace safely.
Once inside, Nitara spoke to Usagi.
"My maiden, are you okay?"
Nitara asked Usagi feeling a bit worried for her.
"I am fine Nitara-Chan."
Usagi answered that she was just fine.
"That's good. I was worried that after your first battle you might faint."
Nitara was worried that Usagi might faint after the last battle, but that wasn't
the case. Then Queen Celeste appeared in the palace.
"Mother!"
Usagi greeted Queen Celeste.
"My daughter, Usagi-Chan... are you alright?"
Queen Celeste asked Usagi if she was alright. Usagi smiled.
"I never felt better!"
Usagi spoke in a cheerful tone.
"That's good. It's been ages since I last spoke to you."
The queen stated that it had been a long time since they last spoke to each other.
"I haven't felt this good in a long time!"
Usagi stated that she hadn't felt good in a very long time.
"I am here to announce that you will have a very special visitor. Please help this visitor
to feel at home."
The queen announced that they would have a very special visitor and they should treat this
visitor well.
"Alright, we will treat this visitor well. Don't you worry."
Usagi answered Queen Celeste and Queen Celeste vanished. Usagi walked over to where Kunzite
and Koan were standing.
"Kunzite and Koan, we will have a very special visitor. Please allow the visitor to enter, alright?"
Usagi asked Koan and Usagi walked back over to Nitara and she spoke.
"Nitara-Chan, I am going to rest before our visitor shows up. Please send someone to wake up when
our visitor arrives. Alright?"
Usagi asked Nitara to send someone to wake her up when their special visitor arrived.
"Alright my maiden. Sweet dreams."
Nitara answered Usagi and told her to sleep well. Usagi went into her chambers and fell asleep almost
instantly. About a couple of hours later, the special visitor arrived and Kunzite let this special visitor in
and Rei was sent to wake up Usagi.
"Usagi-Chan... Usagi-Chan... the special visitor has arrived and is asking for you."
Rei spoke to Usagi as she gently shook Usagi to wake her up and Usagi opened her eyes and looked
at Rei.
"Who is it Rei-Chan?"
Usagi questioned Rei about the mysterious visitor.
"Come and see Usagi-Chan."
Rei wouldn't tell Usagi who it was. Usagi had to see for herself. Usagi got up from the bed and followed
Rei back to where Nitara and everyone else were waiting for Usagi. Usagi wondered who this visitor
was and when Usagi saw a young woman with orange hair and an orange dress. Usagi knew who it was.
"Sunrina-Chan, is it really you?"
Usagi questioned the young woman if she truly was Princess Sunrina.
"Hello Sis... Usagi-Chan. I see you haven't aged a bit. You look great!"
Sunrina spoke to Usagi and commented that Usagi hadn't aged a bit and that Usagi
looked great. Sunrina wasn't truly sisters, but their bond was so close that they felt
like sisters.
"Sunrina-Chan! I knew it! It is you!"
Usagi exclaimed in excitement and she ran to Princess Sunrina and gave her a hug.
"Yes, Usagi-Chan it is I Princess Sunrina. I have something I wanted you to have that
will help you out a lot."
Princess Sunrina spoke and that she had something that she wanted Usagi to have.
"What is it that you want me to have?"
Usagi asked in a curious tone. Princess Sunrina caused an incubator to appear out
of nowhere and inside was a large round egg that was tan colored.
"An Egg?"
Usagi suddenly asked not knowing the significance of the egg.
"It's a very special egg. It contains one Metal Falcon Bird!"
Princess Sunrina announced to Usagi revealing what as in the egg.
"A Metal Falcon Bird? Are you serious?"
Usagi questioned if it truly was a Metal Falcon Bird.
"Yes it is. Have you ever seen one before Usagi-Chan?"
Princess Sunrina asked if Usagi ever seen a Metal Falcon Bird before. Usagi
had seen this beautiful birds on the Cosmicstar Moon and she used to spend
all her free time in the forest learning from these rare birds.
"Yes I have on the Cosmicstar Moon where I used to live."
Usagi answered and Usagi gave her back story how she first met the Metal Falcon
Birds on the Cosmicstar Moon for the first time.
*** FLASHBACK ***
i was only two years old on the Cosmicstar Moon when I first seen the Metal Falcon
Birds in the air flying. They are beautiful birds that are not aggressive. However, I wasn't
able to see one up close until after I turned four years old. I had asked my mother if
I could go to the forest since it was right by the palace and my mother Queen Celeste
agreed to allow me to go into the forest, but I had to return by dark. So I went to the
forest for the first time. I was very cautious. I was amazed by all the trees, bushes,
and shrubs. I felt very safe there... however, I lost track of time and I grew tired
and fell asleep on the forest floor. I awoke the next morning feeling the nudge from one
of the Metal Falcon Birds. It was very large. And there were four other Metal Falcon Birds
near by and all were in a circle like they were keeping me safe. The largest Metal Falcon
Bird spoke to me.
"Young one... can you hear me?"
The large Metal Falcon Bird asked me if I could hear here. I was frightened. I thought they
were there to hurt me.
'Please don't hurt me... I am not a bad girl...'
I spoke in fear. i cringed. I thought they were going to hurt me. However, the large Metal
Falcon Bird spoke to me in my head.
'We aren't here to harm you young one. We are here to keep you safe.'
The Metal Falcon Bird spoke to me in my head again. I looked up at this large
Metal Falcon Bird and I saw that this large bird cared for me. I felt peace in my
heart and then I transformed into something which I knew not what it was.
'What did I become?'
I suddenly asked the Metal Falcon Bird about what I transformed into.
'You have returned to your true form. You are a Celestial Being."
The Metal Falcon Bird explained to me that I had transformed into my true form and that
I was a Celestial Being. It was a big word and at the time I know not what it meant.
'A Celestial Being?'
I asked the large bird again and it responded back.
'Yes, a Celestial Being. You are a being of light. You have the ability to change forms at
will. Your true form is a falcon young one.'
The Metal Falcon Bird explained to me that my real form was a falcon.
'A falcon? Me a falcon? Is that bad?'
I questioned the large bird again. I thought being a falcon was a bad thing.
'No, young one. Being a falcon is a good thing. It means you have a very pure heart'
The large bird explained to me that a falcon was a good thing and that I had a very pure heart.
'is that why I can hear you plainly and understand you clearly?'
I asked the large bird. I was more curious and I was eager to learn.
"Yes my child. My child... what is your name?"
The large bird asked me for my name.
'My name is Princess Cosmicstar. My mother told me that I am the Princess of Legends.'
I introduced myself to the large bird. The large bird was pleased that I introduced myself
to her.
'You have a very special name young one. You are the princess of this Cosmicstar Moon.
You were very brave to come into this forest alone at your age.'
The large bird told me that I had a very special name and that I was the princess of the Cosmicstar
Moon and that I was very brave for a girl of the age of four to go into a forest alone.
'I love learning and experiencing new things. I have heard that Metal Falcon Birds can fuse
themselves with pure hearted beings?'
I explained to the large bird I loved learning and experiencing new things and I asked if it was
true that Metal Falcon Birds can fuse with pure hearted beings.
'That's great young princess that you love learning. Yes, some Metal Falcon Birds can fuse
themselves temporarily with pure hearted beings. I predict that many years in the future...
you will fuse with a special Metal Falcon Bird that will be able to sense your pure heart. Now
young one, you should return home. i am sure your mother is quite worried. Come here each day
and we will teach you wonderful things.'
The large bird was glad that I loved learning and she also confirmed that some Metal Falcon Birds
can fuse themselves temporarily with pure hearted beings. She also predicted that one day a Metal
Falcon Bird would fuse with me. She then urged me to return home that my mother would be worried
for me. Then I returned to my humanoid form of Princess Cosmicstar.
'Thank you. I will see you tomorrow.'
I told the large bird thank you and that I would see her tomorrow.
'Young one, please never reveal your true form to anyone but only those you can trust.'
The large bird instructed me to only show my true form to those that I can trust. I nodded
my head and i returned home to the palace. My mother cried that I had returned to palace.
I explained that I had lost all concept of time and grew tired in the forest and slept there.
I explained that the Metal Falcon Birds kept me safe and when I woke up I knew I had
to return home. I had kept seeing the Metal Falcon Birds there in the forest up to the
day that Warlord Branax took my energy. The Metal Falcon Birds were angry at Warlord
Branax for taking my energy. Many Metal Falcon Birds were injured and some even died
because of that villain. And that's how I first met the Metal Falcon Birds on the Cosmicstar
Moon.
*** END FLASHBACK ***
Usagi explained how she met the Metal Falcon Birds on the Cosmicstar Moon and that she
truly loved those birds. Princess Sunrina spoke again.
"Thank you Usagi-Chan. I believe your story. You are very special. That's why I chose to give
you this egg. Please raise it well. Okay?"
Princess Sunrina thanked Usagi for the story and that she believed her and Princess Sunrina
handed Usagi the incubator that had the egg inside. Princess Sunrina spoke again.
"i have another gift for you... but it's on it's way here. It's called 'The Cosmic Lights.' It can
fuse with your soldier form and give you added power to help you defeat the enemy... however
I think you will have to prove to it that you are worthy of the power."
Princess Sunrina explained about the Cosmic Lights and that Usagi would have to prove
that she's worthy of using the power.
"Alright. I will keep that in mind."
Usagi answered regarding the Cosmic Lights.
"One more thing... I will be sending my eldest daughter. She will help you against the enemy. However
her sisters are still in training... once they are done... they will join you here on earth. Treat them well."
Princess Sunrina revealed that she was sending her eldest daughter to help Usagi against the enemy.
"How many daughters do you have Sunrina-Chan?"
Usagi asked in a curious tone.
"I have six daughters. They are all full of life. I have told them about you. They really want to meet you
Usagi-Chan."
Princess Sunrina revealed that she had six daughters and they wanted to meet her. Princess Sunrina
would remain there in the palace until night fall and then Princess Sunrina returned home. Usagi on the
other hand kept her new egg safe in her arms and she could wait to meet this Metal Falcon Bird that
she was given.
Next on Crystal Princess Galaxy, Usagi's egg that she had kept safe in her arms start to hatch. The
egg contains a Metal Falcon Bird. What will happen next? Find out next time.
