Merlin's second encounter with Arthur had left a lot to be desired. Somewhere between tripping over the wood pile and falling into the fruit cart, Merlin had felt the sharp spike of Arthur's flail slice the top of his arm and if the wetness of his shirt was anything to go by then it was definitely bleeding.
