I wrote this just to be able to look at Mass Effect from the perspective of humanity. Their first contact ended in war and the Turians proved themselves willing to do anything to win. Even going so far as to drop asteroids on civilian cities. The citadel was unaware of this until the Turians mobilized their full fleets, preparing for war. Humanity will stand firm among the stars.

This little Shenko piece takes place right after the Mars mission on ME3. This is what I would've rather happened, instead of the whole face bashing into the skycar bit

Shepard activated the crucible but it didn't have the effect everyone thought it would. Instead it sent him back in time and space to begin the fight during the hunt for the rouge specter so he could start to the fight and prepare for the reapers earlier. AU universe (up for adoption)
