EDI asks Shepard a very difficult question

In this story: Shepard is Shepherd of the VDV, Anderson has a headache, the Council has coffee and the Reapers are ripped a new one. A parody of the many things I found illogical in Mass Effect proper, done up in my classic style of satire, thought and laughs. Enjoy!

Shepard, Jack and Aria are having one of their annual nights out. Away from routine, stress and pressure. However, the "bro time" turns out to be a hard promise to follow through since the only thing they end up talking about are their other halves.

A world abandoned. An N7 unit. A race of sentient machines cleansing the galaxy of all that lives and breathes. Their mission: Defend Earth until the fleets return. And bring hope to those who live in the crippled home of humanity. Rated M for graphic violence and suggestive themes coming in later chapters. Growing up on the slums of Earth, an orphaned child meets his mentor for the very first time. Oneshot; Earthborn Shepard.

Garrus makes an interesting find on what should be a routine intel run. Set a few months after ME2, kind of messing with the events before ME3. Shakarian romance.

Spoilers ahead: this is my "headcanon" ending for Mass Effect 3. Shepard's life is slipping away as he tries to arm the Crucible. Harbinger is trying to persuade him to choose synthesis. Shepard wakes up after destroying the Reapers but is pulled back into angsty visions of the events that led up to the destruction of life as she knew it. Now she finds herself broken, battered, and completely alone.

"We had grown into one another somewhere along the way. We were officially a team." (Shannon A. Thompson, Take Me Tomorrow)

A drunk Shepard winds up between the sheets...with a batarian. But not just any batarian. All rights are retained by Bioware.

"You're alive, Shepard," she said, gently stroking his shoulder. "Isn't that enough?" But he didn't know if it could be. Somehow, 20 of his people – the Normandy's people – died in that attack and he lived. An alternate take on ME2 had Shepard survived the destruction of the SSV Normandy and never had to be rebuilt by Cerberus.

Before she was a hero, Commander Shepard was just another soldier. Before she was a soldier, she was a child. This is a story of that before. Two shot, Spacer F!Shepard.

So the idea behind this is that, sometime between ME2 and ME3, Shepard is reminiscing about her crew and describing them to someone- maybe it's Vega, or Anderson, or Kaidan even. This is my third one. I've done Grunt and Jack- so now I'm attempting a more sensible order. The language might be a little choice, but come on, it's Zaeed.

After Horizon, Joker's had enough of the sulking on board, so he decides to do something about it. It's just too bad for Cerberus that "doing something" means dumping Shepard and Kaidan alone on a dangerous planet to hash out their problems, a planet that one member of the crew is already intimately familiar with. Rated M, mostly for later situations and a whole lot of profanity.

Scars are memory. Images of the life one once lived. Being reborn, being fixed, doesn't change that. Her past was hers, the only thing left. She couldn't let it go. Warning: self-harm.

If only Shepard were there. He might have found a way to retake the Alarei, to find evidence that proved she was innocent. But Shepard wasn't there. He was dead, for nearly a year now and she was on her own. AU Drabble fic

The crucible has been activated, the Reapers are dead, but at what cost. You've seen the view of those whom have stood through all the major events, but what about the little people, the soldiers of equal importance. N7 teams search the streets of London for meaning to their sacrifices and hope within the darkness.

Hannah's past finally caught up to her and there's only someone whom she can go to at this point; the Alliance is too infiltrated to help and her parents are of no use. But the one who had once saved her, trained her into the soldier she has become, is the only one she trusts. Much like their first meeting, it's sudden and surprising, but there's a key difference: their feelings...

Post-Citadel coup, a grieving Shepard met Kaidan for lunch on the Presidium. Things did not go well, but the king of the bottle shooters is always there to help his best friend pick up the pieces. References Shrios, past Kaidan romance. Just a bit of headcanon that demanded to be written.

Garrus and Shepard go to the Citadel to rid the commander of rough thoughts about the on going war. Also along they way, the commander helps out Liara after the loss of Thessia, too.

Follow the short story of a turian's fight for survival during the reaper conflict on Palaven. Will he survive? Or will his body be used as nothing more than materials for a horrific war machine?
