Merlin sleeps around with the knights to punish Arthur for choosing Gwen. Merlin's heartbroken and just wants sex to help him forget. The knights oblige because at least if it's with them they know he's safe. Canon era.

Warnings: ARTHUR DIES AT CAMLANN in the epilogue. It's awful. If you want a happy ending, stop before the epilogue. Also, time doesn't work for them the way it does for us, but it's no worse than what the show does. Summary: Mordred has an insidious influence on Merlin.
