Jim's sailed through Starfleet Academy and taking over command of the Enterprise from Captain Pike is pretty much a lock. It's all going according to plan. The only thing Jim didn't see coming- a disgruntled yet lovable doctor who Jim's falling for completely. The catch, Leonard belongs to someone else- literally.

A mission goes wrong and Jim is captured by a very curious alien race. Spock can save him, but what he must do will cost their friendship. Jim doesn't remember the events on the planet at all, but strange memories haunt him day and night. Apparently, some things are rooted deeper than Vulcan mind magic can reach - fuck or die, aliens force Spirk to fuck,bit of non-con/dub-con feel.

Her people are a passionate people. Loud and vibrant like a human firecracker. Not even her human blood could tame the passion in her. So why does she find herself so entranced by the Vulcan that teaches Advanced physics? It makes no sense to either of them and yet the first time their thoughts brush the only thing he can think is T'hy'la. After that? Things get a bit complicated.

The Enterprise encounters a unique (yet, for Spock, somewhat familiar) planet. An away mission soon follows. This is the long-awaited prologue to a previous multi-chapter story of mine, ‘Ceremony of Sorrow’.
