Where did all the house elves come from:

For Harry Potter, the last few weeks of school was some of the hardest. After he returned with Cedric Diggory's dead body, people looked at him as if he was either crazy or dangerous. Because he said that Voldemort had returned, some believed he was just after attention and more fame. The ones that thought he was dangerous were sure he killed Cedric to win the tournament and he was making the story up about Voldemort so he wouldn't look guilty. There were only about a handful of people inside Hogwarts that did believe him.

Even though Ron apologised for believing Harry entered the triwizard tournament and they began to talk again, Harry knew he could never trust Ron again. He already stopped trusting Hermione. Her belief in authority figures was the reason why he couldn't trust his female friend. She had already gone behind his back to tell McGonagall about his Firebolt that Sirius had sent him. He lost that for weeks and never knew if he would get it back. Even though that was during his third year, he still couldn't bring himself to trust Hermione again. She knew he wasn't treated good by the Dursley's, but she said if Dumbledore believed Harry should return, then Harry should trust the headmaster. Which was another reason he didn't trust her. Harry didn't trust Dumbledore, nor any teacher at Hogwarts. He basically didn't trust any adult.

After the first task when Ron had apologised, he realised that Harry had changed. He didn't want to just sit and have a game of chess. Harry spent more time in the library, he seemed to study all the time now. Harry just said after seeing Voldemort return and almost dying, he wasn't going to slack off anymore. He was going to spend all his time studying. Voldemort wanted him dead so he had to give himself a fighting chance.

Harry never told Hermione or Ron that Dobby had shown him the room of requirement. He used that to practice spells that could help him in the tournament. When he learned what the room could do, he practiced for a few hours every day. Now, he was fast when casting spells and he could also cast silently. He could also do the odd spell without a wand thanks to his practice in the room and the books he found in there.

That was his next job Harry set for himself, to learn to cast all spells without a wand. The ones he learned first were going to be used on the Dursley's if the old man forced him to return to Privet drive. Being able to use magic to scare the three Dursley's and to make sure the ministry never found out was a priority for Harry. It would allow him to come and go when he wanted and he would get to eat as much as he wanted. He also would make sure he didn't do any work, but he would make sure Dudley would do all the work. Being able to scare the Dursley's would mean he could keep his trunk so it would allow him to read spell books that might help him against Voldemort. But he had a feeling that if he showed he could do magic and would use it on them, the Dursley's will probably tell him to leave, which Harry hoped they would. He didn't think he would leave the house often, he had a lot of learning to do, but if they made him leave, then he would use one of the wizard tents. He had sent Dobby to Diagon alley for one, just in case.

Harry also wanted to learn how to cast two spells at once but he couldn't do that until he mastered wandless magic. That would take time, so he would continue to practice and study until he was ready.

Harry used his invisibility cloak to sneak away. He didn't just want to sneak away from Hermione and Ron, it would also stop the suspicious looks he got from most of the people inside Hogwarts.

'Alright Dobby, apart from learning spells that gives me a fighting chance against death eater, we need to figure out a way to stop them before they kill. There is no use counting on Dumbledore even if he put this so called order of the phoenix together. Also, I can't return to the Dursley's. First is he has my blood which means those wards won't stop him, yet the old man believes I'll be safer there. I did learn some spells that I can do without a wand to keep the Dursley's in line, but that won't do any good if Voldemort turns up. So I have the tent we just need to work on where to put it. But I have to figure out how to get away and how to do magic during the holidays without the ministry picking it up. Since Fudge refused to believe me, I can't take the chance that he will have me expelled and my wand snapped. The next biggest problem is the figure out how to stop death eaters.'

'Dobby has an idea master Harry.'

'Good, because I don't have any idea's.'

'Dobby can get you away from mean muggles and Dobby can use elf magic to make sure Harry Potter's magic is not found out by nasty minister.'

'We have the tent, we just need to figure out where to put it. Now to making sure no one will detect my magic. I know you're powerful Dobby, I saw what you did to old man Malfoy. I didn't know you could prevent my magic being picked up.'

'House elves can do enchantments master Harry. Normally only when our masters tells us we can. We add our magic to protect our master's homes. Nasty young master Malfoy always did magic at home master Harry, due to house elf enchantments.'

'I always knew he was learning away from here Dobby, now I know how. Okay, so the tent then you can enchant it. You can also get me away from the muggles. Once we're settled into the tent then we can work on ways to stop death eaters and maybe get old snakeface to show himself. We have two weeks before the holidays, so the most I can do is study some books in the library and the restricted section would be best. I can use the spell Hermione showed me to copy a page from a book so if I found some interesting spells in the restricted section, then I can take my time when we get to the tent to study them.'

'House elf magic can copy entire books master Harry. Dobby can make master Harry lots of copies.'

Harry beamed at the elf, 'That would be wonderful Dobby. Okay, first is I'll get you to pitch the tent somewhere, then stocked with food. It will need to be charmed to stay fresh. If you can do that today along with enchanting it, then we can concentrate on which books would be best to copy. We can spend a few hours in the library through the day and sneak in there of a night to do a few more.'

Harry grinned at Dobby who was jumping up and down excitedly. They had the beginning of some plans. It was small but it was a start. But Harry already felt better. He wouldn't be stuck with the Dursley's and he would be able to practice magic and hope it gave him a chance to survive. Harry had already decided he wasn't returning to Hogwarts. Every year he hoped there would be no danger, but every year there was and this year Voldemort returned because Albus too-many-names Dumbledore didn't get Harry out of competing in the triwizard tournament.

Harry planned to buy Dobby a heap of gifts, when he knew it was safe to sneak around. But he would give Dobby some money so he could buy things for himself. The little elf was saving him from the Dursley's but also giving him a chance to learn more without anyone finding out.

Dobby left to go put up the tent then make sure there was plenty of food, he would enchant the tent then the food to keep it fresh until Harry moved in. Harry wanted the tent placed deep in a forest, but one that would keep them safe and one that wouldn't have any person pass by. It would also need to be protected from animals and the weather, which Dobby said he could do when he enchanted the tent and surrounding area so no magic could be detected. He would weather proof the tent so Harry won't feel cold or get wet.

From the following day, Harry would use his cloak and sneak into the restricted section. Dobby would be invisible standing beside him. Harry would nod when he found a book that he wanted copied, then the little elf would use his magic. The copied book was then hidden in a corner until Dobby took them to the tent that night.

'Um, Harry, mum asked Dumbledore if you wanted to spend some of the holidays at the Burrow,' Ron said nervously as Harry entered the common room.

'Tell your mum thanks but no thanks. I'm going to spend all my time reading up on spells that might come in handy. I know I can't practice until I return but I want to study them. Your place is just too noisy to concentrate,' Harry turned and headed up the stairs to the boys dorm room, 'Dobby,' he whispered once the curtains were closed around his bed.

'Yes master Harry.'

'I want owls blocked from finding us, can you do that as well?'

'Yes master Harry. That is an easy bit of magic to do.'

'Hedwig has to be able to find us though.'

'Dobby can place charm on Hedwig so she can get through the magic.'

'Perfect,' Harry grinned. He knew the moment the first owl returned with the letter someone would go to Privet drive and find out he was gone. Harry didn't care. Now he knew he could get away from the Dursley's and he could do magic, he was not going to be forced to go somewhere he didn't want. If he ended up at the Burrow, he wouldn't be able to do magic. If he ended up where Sirius and Remus was, he couldn't do magic. But since he wasn't returning to Hogwarts then they would all be out looking for him once the students returned. Apart from the danger he always found himself in, he knew now Voldemort was back, the children of death eaters could capture him. Any one of those students who had parent's who were death eaters could easily bump into him then slip him a portkey. He would be gone before anyone would know, or stop it. Harry didn't care what Dumbledore said about Snape, he would never trust the man not to use his position to help the Slytherin's kidnap him. Harry knew it would be safer for him to stay away. It might get a little lonely, but it was better than being tortured or killed.

Harry continued to study and have Dobby copy books. He made sure to pick a lot of older books with obscure spells. Things that might help him yet they fell out of fashion a long time ago. Harry thought these just might give him the element of surprise if he found himself in danger. He wouldn't know until he read up on the spells. While Dobby was copying books, Harry practice spells from first and second year without a wand until he had no problem doing them. It did exhaust him, but Harry felt it was worth it.

On the train ride home, Harry ignored the conversation going on around him, he just read. When Malfoy and his goons turned up, Harry acted like he couldn't hear the blond pounce. He let Ron and Malfoy have a go each other until the other prefects intervened when Hermione couldn't stop them fighting.

'Why didn't you help Harry?' Hermione asked in a huff.

'It had nothing to do with me. If those two idiots want to fight, that's there choice. I want to be left alone. I have enough to worry about.'

Harry went back to his book and ignored Hermione and Ron for the rest of the trip. Harry didn't stop when he was on the platform. He just went through the barrier and walked off with the Dursley's. The moment he got into the house Dobby appeared scaring the three Dursley's. Harry explained he was leaving and wouldn't be back.

Dobby sent Harry's trunk and cage to the tent, Hedwig was flying there. Dobby went to grab hold of Harry so they could disappear when Petunia tentatively stepped forward.

'I was told you had to remain here until you turned seventeen.'

'I don't care what you were told. I'll be safer and be able to study magic away from here.'

'What do you mean safer?'

Harry smirked, 'The dark wizard that killed my parents and tried to kill me, well he's back. He used my blood in a dark ritual to get himself a nice new body. The wards the old man put around here are blood based…Petunia. The old man might not see the danger in that, but I do. Voldemort could get passed the wards any time he wants so I'm going to be somewhere else. Since you lot never cared about me, well, I don't care what happens to you. He can torture you for all I care. Let's go Dobby,' Harry glared at the Dursley's before his little elf friend popped them out. He didn't see the Dursley's frightened looks, then within minutes Petunia and Dudley began to pack while Vernon ended up on the phone making arrangements on where they could go.

Harry and Dobby settled into the tent. One thing Harry liked was Dobby could pop him anywhere, so even though he would be learning and training, Harry figured he could have a bit of a holiday. With his cloak, no one would see Dobby or Harry when they appeared in some muggle area. He figured that just taking a break from training could help. Most of his days would be spent training but he would also do things he always wanted. He planned to alter his looks, first was getting rid of his glasses, since everyone knew he wore them so he planned to work the confundus charm on the muggles so he could get contacts and in different colours. The confundus charm was one of the first spells he needed to learn without a wand. He would use make-up on his scar and allow his hair to grow. He was also thinking of getting some hair dye he just couldn't decide what colour to go with.

It was that first night that Dumbledore got word that the Dursley's left, but the two guards who had been posted at Privet drive said they never saw Harry. They checked the house once the muggles left, Harry wasn't there. The first owl left Hogwarts by dinner time. It returned with the unopened letter. More owls went out, from the Weasley's and order members, all owls returned with their letters. It seems that Harry Potter had disappeared but made sure no owls could find him. Albus had no idea how Harry learned those types of charms, but he did know he needed to find the boy.

An order of the phoenix meeting was called to discuss how to find Harry when no owl could. Also, to see if anyone had any idea on where Harry might have gone.

'In Harry's last letter to me he said Voldemort had his blood so he didn't think he would be safe at the muggles. Now they left so I would say Harry told them about Voldemort. He wouldn't have gone with them since he hated them and they hated him.'

'I do not believe they hated him Sirius.'

'Harry told me how they treated him Albus. They loathed anyone from our world and Harry said his aunt and uncle often said they wished he died with his parent's instead of being dumped on their doorstep. Harry has probably been planning on leaving for years, but needed to be a bit older before he could.'

Albus sighed, 'Bill, any chance you can find out if Harry's been to his vaults?'

'No, they goblins will not give out that information. The only way I could find out is if I saw Harry at Gringotts. There's no use asking me to try because I will not get on the wrong side of the goblins. If I tried anything they would put me down in the mines, for life.'

'Are you sure you-know-who didn't take Harry and that's why the muggle left? If he really used Harry's blood then he probably could get into the house,' Remus said.

'Severus will inform me if he has Harry, but he would have already done so if that was the case. He would have sent me his patronus. He only uses it for emergencies and this would be classed as an emergency. Molly, Arthur, I will need to speak with Ron. Alastor, I want you to speak with Miss Granger. If Harry had these plans then I'm sure he said something to his friends.'

'He wouldn't tell Ron…' Fred said.

'No, as far as Harry's concerned, Ron betrayed him,' George said.

'And Harry will never forgive anyone that betrays him.' Fred said.

Albus sighed again. He realised Harry had probably been making secret plans for a long time. He now felt it was the right time to put those plans into action. Albus would not stop looking for Harry since it would be Harry that needed to fulfil the prophecy.

Over the next few months, Harry was able to go out without having to worry about being recognised. He used brown or blue contact lenses when he went out. His hair was longer and now it was a honey blond colour, his eyebrows matched. He used make-up to cover his scar and he had decent clothes. Sometimes he even wore a hat or bandanna which also covered his scar. Without always worrying about the Dursley's or danger at Hogwarts, Harry was able to eat better and had started to look healthy instead of malnourished. He had fill out a bit and had grown a few centimetres, which made Harry happy. He was always the shortest in his year group, now he would match some of the other boys. He hoped to grow a bit more, he would just have to wait and see if he did.

Harry loved learning magic without having to worry about the ministry, but he was also learning dark magic along with light magic. If he saw a death eater, or Voldemort, he wouldn't hesitate to use dark magic. Right now he was still learning, but now he was away from Hogwarts and the Dursley's, he could take his time. He also learned how to apparate. While he practiced, he had his other look in case he splinched himself. Dobby was with him so if he did splinch himself, then Dobby could get him to St Mungo's. But Harry found apparition easy and not as uncomfortable as going with Dobby. One thing Harry also decided to learn was guns and how to shoot. He didn't care what the ministry thought of muggle weapons, to Harry, it just might help him survive and take out a few death eaters at the same time. But since he planned to stay living and probably working in the muggle world, then as far as Harry was concerned he was part muggle so he could use a muggle weapon.

It didn't take long before Voldemort was seen, then everyone was calling for Fudge to apologise to Harry then to quit.

Time skip:

Over the last two years, since he had disappeared, Harry had been lucky. Sometimes he was having a day to himself and he seemed to find death eaters. Using his invisibility cloak and wandless magic, using two hands, Harry was able to kill people like Bellatrix Lestrange, along with her husband and his brother. The kill that made him smile was Severus Snape. Harry made sure the man knew he was losing his head, slowly and Harry made sure Snape saw who it was that was killing him. Harry took a few minutes of slowly cutting through Snape's neck until his head was lying next to him.

During this time, Harry kept reading the Daily Prophet and Dobby would fill him in on what he had heard or seen. Dobby often went to different places so he could spy on people. Dobby knew his master needed information so he was going to get as much as he could.

Harry may be an adult now and could do what he wanted, but he still had Voldemort and his death eaters wanting to kill him. No, Harry would remain in hiding until he could finish off more death eaters and kill Voldemort, for good.

When Harry finally became an adult, he worked on buying a home, a muggle home. Dobby had been going to his vault every week to take money and exchange it for muggle money. Harry would then deposit that money into a muggle bank. Now he owned a nice size muggle home in the country. He had learned wards, mainly so he would always be able to protect any place he lived, whether it was in a tent or a house. But now he owned a home, he put it under the fidelius charm with him as his own secret keeper. Now, no one will ever be able to see it or find him.

Time skip:

Inside the atrium of the ministry, people from every department was staring at the hundreds of house elves. They all had on the same t-towel shirt, red with a big black lightning bolt on the front. Letters went out to ask anyone that owned a house elf to write back to say whether the house elf was there or not. They also needed to show proof if people claimed their house elves were missing.

Every person, including Hogwarts replied, all house elves were accounted for. No one knew where all the house elves came from. One thing that made some curious, some of the house elves got angry and tried to attack people. One elf had long blond hair, one had long brown hair and a beard but he seemed to have hair everywhere. The angriest of all the house elves was the one that had red eyes. No one had any idea why these house elves would attack a witch or wizard, or why they didn't act like normal house elves, nor why they looked different to what other house elves looked like.

What no one inside the ministry knew was all the house elves had been turned into the little creatures by Harry who found a very old spell from one of the books he got from the room of requirement. The book was as old as Hogwarts and it had been written by Helga Hufflepuff. She wanted to find a way to contain bad witches or wizards but due to magic, they could not be held in a jail or they would just use magic to escape. It took her years but she finally invented this spell to use on anyone that committed serious crimes. It was how the first house elves came to be. When someone committed serious crimes, the spell was used on the person which turned them into house elves. The ones who had committed the crimes and turned into a house elf had no magic, they were just free and had to work for witches and wizards. Their children would be like a squib, their children would be the same but over the generations, magic got stronger. They were basically slaves by then and could only use their magic when their master's said they could. Due to the magic surrounding the elves, they could not use their magic to hurt others, that is what made Harry smile the most.

When Harry read the spell he realised he wouldn't even need to see the person, just speak the name and say the spell and that person would become a house elf. Because he had copied the book but left the original at Hogwarts, it made Harry worry. He decided to have Dobby return to Hogwarts and take the book. He didn't want some dark kid to find it and use it on innocent people. He had been lucky to find it. When Harry began to read the book, he found a few pages stuck together. The spell was one of those so no one saw it. To Harry, it looked like the book hadn't been checked out for centuries. Harry buried the original book in a steal box under his home, but he made sure it was deep so it couldn't be found. Harry also added spells to the box. If he died, the box and the book would be destroyed. He didn't want to take the chance that someone could find it.

The first person Harry turned into a house elf was Voldemort, then Lucius Malfoy, Draco Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy, then every death eater before he did Greyback and his pack. Harry wished he had read this book when he first got to the tent then he wouldn't have had to stay in hiding for so long.

Dobby had done some spying for him so he could get the names of every death eater. But Harry didn't stop with them, he also turned Cornelius Fudge, Dolores Umbridge, Percy Weasley and a few other ministry workers into house elves. Anyone that was against Harry, but also against muggleborns or people like Hagrid. He figured if he was using this old spell on death eaters, he would use it on others so the wizarding world would end up a better place. One thing Harry liked about the spell, it could not be reversed. At first he thought of letting the aurors know just who those house elves were, but after talking things over with Dobby, he decided against it, in case someone came up with a way to reverse the spell. The last thing Harry wanted was for Voldemort and his death eaters to return. He was also worried that someone in Hogwarts would find out that it was Helga Hufflepuff that invented the spell. If that happened, they might have found a way to reverse it, especially if that someone was Dumbledore.

At one time Harry thought of using the spell on the death eaters that were in Azkaban, but he realised if he did then people would figure out who the house elves really were. He wasn't going to risk them being turned back. He also figured that the death eaters inside Azkaban were already suffering. Without Voldemort around to control the dementors, then the death eaters could continue to suffer from being so close to those dark creatures. Even though Voldemort had broken out his death eaters from Azkaban, the unspeakables had been able to work it so it could not happen again. First they spelled the dementors so they could only obey the head unspeakable, then new wards were put around the prison to stop anyone entering the place without being given a special bracelet by the unspeakables. To be given permission to have a bracelet, they had to be questioned using veritaserum and have their minds examined. Only then would they be allowed to enter Azkaban to visit a prisoner.

One thing Harry did though as he began to speak the name of the death eater and speak the spell, was to have Dobby use elf magic and get hold of Peter Pettigrew. They would keep him prisoner until they were ready to show the new minister. Once Fudge and his lackey's were taken care of, Dobby would leave a stunned, bound and unarmed Peter in the auror offices, but he would also show his dark mark. Harry knew that Dumbledore had two aurors in his order of the phoenix. Hopefully it would mean Sirius could end up free. Even though Harry would not live with his godfather, not now he was legally an adult, he did want to help Sirius get his name cleared. That would be done soon, for now, he had to make sure he got all the dark witches and wizards.

The minister got all members from the department for control of magical creatures to herded the house elves into the large conference room the seal the door. They needed to find out where they came from but also why they were acting so different from the typical house elf. Most knew house elves had magic, which meant they could hurt someone. They didn't know that these house elves had no magic at all. The people inside the ministry had to find out how to control them so people would be safe. If they couldn't, then they would be killed. They could not take the chance that these angry house elves could affect others. There were curious as to why the angry house elves had not used magic. For now they had to try and talk to them and figure out where they came from. As soon as someone spoke to them they found out that the house elves could not talk, just make noises and usually angry grunts and screams.

During one visit by a few ministry workers, the house elves attacked and one auror got badly hurt while the others ended up injured before they could escape. A meeting was called where it was decided these rogue house elves had to be killed. Since there was so many they decided to use the death veil. So a dozen aurors stunned the house elves while another dozen kept the small creatures from attacking. Once they were all unconscious, they were levitated into the department of mysteries. They were sent in groups through the veil, starting with the ones that seem to be the meanest.

Harry was in his small training room at the house when Dobby arrived and Harry noticed the little elf looked more excited than normal.

'What's up Dobby?'

'The death eater elves attacked some people Harry Potter sir, so they decided the house elves were dangerous. They sent them through the death veil at the ministry.'

Harry grinned hugely then hugged Dobby, 'That's great, I was hoping they would work on killing them. Well, that means Voldemort and all his death eaters are taken care of. We'll give it a week then I'll get you to leave the rat there.'

'Yes Harry Potter sir, but will Harry Potter been seen now the evil red eyed one is gone?'

'No, not yet Dobby, not until I'm a little older. I may be an adult, but that won't matter to people like Dumbledore and his order will do whatever he says. I'll stay disguised and in hiding for a while yet. I may get you to sneak a letter to Sirius for me, just to let him know I'm okay and I didn't trust the senile old man with my safety. Oh, did any of the student death eaters end up being tossed through the veil as well?'

'Oh yes Harry Potter sir, they were the last after Voldy and Malfoy house elf.'

'Good, now the students might actually learn without them causing problems. It should be less dangerous with the likes of Malfoy, Parkinson and Nott gone. Hearing they were planning on taking the dark mark told me they needed to go. So Hogwarts will have a lot less students. I do wonder if anyone figures out just who those house elves were.'

'If they do Harry Potter sir, then it will be too late.'

Harry laughed, 'Yeah, it will be. Well, if someone does find out about the original spell to turn prisoners into house elves, then they will work it out. It was just luck I found it Dobby. Those pages had been stuck together so no one realised there was more in that book then they realised. We hid the book from Hogwarts and you removed the book from the ministry and destroyed it. Let's hope there are no more. Anyway, let's cook all our favourite foods and celebrate.'

Dobby was jumping up and down in excitement before he followed Harry into the kitchen, who also couldn't stop being happy and excited.

Over the following weeks, Harry went out a lot, disguised. He saw his old friends, he saw some of the teachers and saw people like Sirius, who was now free and he was enjoying his freedom. Sirius had replied to Harry, begging him to come out of hiding, Harry never did, nor did he reply to Sirius.

One thing Harry noticed when he was out, everyone seemed relaxed and happy. He also noticed that there were more muggleborn parents in Diagon alley. Now all the bigots who were against people like muggleborns were now gone and in their place were people who realised that without the muggleborns, or raised, their world would not survive. Over a hundred families had disappeared when the elves went through the veil, even if it was only Harry and Dobby knew who they really were. With so many gone, they had to change the laws that discriminated against anyone not a pure blood.

It took a few years, but people finally realised that somehow, Voldemort and his death eaters were gone. Many also realised that the old pure-bloods that went missing must have been death eaters since they disappeared at the same time. The goblins had a way to show if they were alive or not. Naturally they charged for it, but the aurors who were investigating the disappearance of these people did have the goblins check on every person that was missing. Amelia Bones even had them check Tom Riddle. She was one of the few that knew Voldemort's real name. All showed up dead, so the goblins were also paid to track down who would be next in line to inherit as most of those that disappeared never left any type of will, or they did but the ones named were also the ones that had died.

It turns out the Potters were related, distantly to many, once he realised how rich he was, Harry knew he would never have to work, if he didn't want to, but neither would his kids, if he had any. Right now, he wasn't interested. He had gone on many dates, with muggle girls, had sex with a lot of them. But until his magical life was sorted, he didn't want to get seriously involved with anyone. He did know one thing, when he did, he planned to only date muggles. He did not trust anyone in the magical world, where the muggles had no idea who he was. When he went on dates, he made sure he didn't look rich. He wanted the woman to like him for him, not because he had money. In the wizarding world, they would want him because of who he was, the-boy-who-lived. He would not let that happen.

When Harry turned twenty, he decided he would allow himself to be seen. He had portkeys on him which thanks to Dobby using elf magic meant he could go into or leave any place no matter the wards. If anyone tried to keep him confined, he would disappear and if that happened, he would disappear for good. Dobby had tried the portkeys in Hogwarts, in places like the ministry, but he also snuck into headquarters of the order of the phoenix. Harry wanted to make sure that if someone tried to keep him prisoner, he could escape, which included escaping from heavily warded places, or homes.

Harry had visited Gringotts, without his disguise, so it didn't take long before his name was being whispered from one person to another. By the time he had finished in Flourish and Blotts, there was a group of familiar people outside, staring at him.

'Sirius,' Harry said.

'Pup, you look well.'

'Getting out of an abusive house can do that, not to mention, leaving all the danger that kept happening at Hogwarts works wonders,' Harry made sure he glance at Dumbledore then turned back to his godfather, 'I heard you finally got your name cleared, congratulations.'

'Were you involved in those disappearances, Harry?' Albus asked.

Harry kept staring at his godfather, 'So, somehow the rat ended up being left inside Madam Bones' office.'

'Yes, Tonks came to tell me that Madam Bones used the truth potion, after that all she needed was to get my side and she signed the forms. I even got my old wand back. I bought a house, hoping it would be our home.'

'I have my own home Sirius, warded with everything, including a few dangerous wards. I figured if anyone tried to get into my home then they weren't good people so they get what they had coming. I'll have to contact you soon, I have a date with my lady.'

'You need to come with me Harry.'

'Sirius, I'll add you to the wards so you can send owls,' Harry smirked, squeezed one of his portkeys and he was gone.

'I knew he looked too relaxed,' Sirius said then turned and walked away. He was already furious with Albus for forcing himself to join him while he came to see his godson. Now because Albus had basically told Harry he would be taken against his will, Harry left and no one will ever see him again.

Albus realised his mistake and knowing how Harry had been able to stay hidden for so long he would never get another chance to speak with the boy, man. Harry Potter was a man, one that would never allow himself to be manipulated or taken.

Albus wasn't the only one upset, Ginny Weasley still hoped one day she would show Harry she would be perfect for him. He had disappeared right after saying he had a date with his lady, which meant they were serious. Hermione at first had been surprised at how Harry ignored Albus Dumbledore, then before she could have a go at him, he disappeared. Ron wasn't angry, he realised he had made a mistake by turning his back on Harry and it cost him his best friend. He hoped now they were older, they could get together and talk things over. Ron was angry with Albus Dumbledore for trying to force Harry to go with him. Harry was an adult, yet it didn't seem to bother people like Dumbledore.

It was a year later that Harry had Dobby take a statement for him to Witch Weekly. One part of the statement was how he will never give an interview with the Daily Prophet since all they do is lie or take one small bit of truth and twist it around. Innocent people had been hurt because of the Daily Prophet. They should be shut down.

The statement was mainly about why he left. Albus Dumbledore knew and made him returned to an abusive home. The so called leader of the light approved of child abuse. Harry explained in the statement that when he got old enough he left and after all the abuse he went through, he didn't care what happened to the Dursley's. Another part of the statement was how the so called safest place ended up with students being put in life and death situations. He wrote that either Albus Dumbledore was dark or he was senile. Either way he was dangerous to students. Not just Albus either, the other staff were just as bad since they sat back and didn't do a thing about trolls, basilisks, acromantula, death eater's and Voldemort.

The last part of the statement was about how Harry Potter, the-boy-who-lived, married, he now lived and worked in the muggle world. After everything he had to go through at Hogwarts, what was being written about him and how he was being treated, he will never return to the wizarding world. He had emptied and closed his vaults. He had moved all the Potter money, along with all the other money he had inherited to muggle banks. He had cleaned out his parent's old home then destroyed the house. He also warded the land, so no one will ever remember where it was. The ministry had no right to turn that into a monument when it belonged to Harry. He also removed his parents bodies and had them reburied down the back of his property.

What no one in the wizarding world knew was that Harry was only in contact with one wizard, Sirius. After that day in Diagon alley, Sirius left and never spoke with Albus or any of his order again. He sold the house he had bought and bought another home that no one in the wizarding world knew about. He blamed almost everyone in the wizarding world for losing years with his godson but he mainly blamed Albus, Minerva, Remus, Snape and even Harry's so called friends.

Harry and Sirius ended up like brothers and Sirius ended up best man when Harry got married. Sirius ended up close to Harry's wife. She was a muggle who had a muggleborn cousin. The moment the relationship with Harry became serious, he explained to Alyssa about magic. She explained the strange things she had seen when visiting relatives. Alyssa was able to tell her cousin that she knew of the wizarding world. Since Harry didn't want anyone from the wizarding world to find him and Alyssa knew why, she told her cousin she was married to a muggleborn wizard who returned to the non magical world.

Even though Sirius had not been surprised to hear that Harry married a muggle, he ended up shocked when he himself met and fell in love with a muggle woman.

Sirius and Harry made new lives for themselves in the muggle world and had two muggle woman who they loved. The two men realised that their lives were better now they had left the wizarding world behind them. They would use magic but they would no longer be part of the magical world.
