Taking to much:

Madam Amelia Bones, the head of the department of magical law enforcement was a very powerful witch. She was not just magically powerful, she was politically powerful. Apart from being head of the most important department inside the ministry of magic, she also held seats on the Wizengamot. Right now, she was working on something that should have been done years ago. Amelia had just finished a meeting with some of her aurors, aurors that she trusted with her life.

At the end of the school year, her niece went into great details about how her first year at Hogwarts had gone. The more her niece spoke, the angrier Amelia got. She had begun to believe that Albus Dumbledore was getting too old and shouldn't hold the three important jobs that he did or be in charge of so many children. After listening to Susan, she finally believed Albus had gone senile or he had gone dark but acts like the leader of the light.

She had watched some memories from Susan, from the welcoming feast to just different days during the school year, ending with what Susan had seen and heard a few days before she left Hogwarts.

Apart from what she and many others believed about Albus, now she knew the man was dangerous. It was time to get that man out of Hogwarts, where he keeps influencing young minds and putting young children at risk. She had wanted to get rid of him from the time he hired Severus Snape. Now after seeing Susan's memories of Snape, she planned to arrest him and have him stand trial, something that should have happened years before. Apart from how dangerous potions class was, all because of Snape, it was how he treated children of light families. He clearly supports dark families when he favours their children which proved to Amelia that Severus Snape was still a death eater.

One thing that made her furious was the way Snape treated the-boy-who-lived, Harry Potter. She could see the boy was insecure, he didn't have a lot of confidence and the biggest thing she noticed about the boy that saved their world was how thin and small he was. She knew the signs of abuse and Harry Potter was an abused child. But to see the way Snape treated him and how none of the other staff stopped his treatment, made her furious. She knew that Snape hated James Potter, it seems the petty man was taking his hatred out on his innocent son. That was something she was going to stop and no one was going to get in her way.

She had two aurors quietly investigating Albus and Hogwarts and another two investigating Severus Snape. She would need as much damning evidence as she could get so that man would end up in Azkaban, where he belonged. She was going to investigate Harry Potter to find out why the-boy-who-lived hadn't been removed from wherever he was living. All anyone was told was he was placed with family and had protection, a lot of protection. Now she knew that was a lie.

Amelia had just finished gathering the information on where Harry lived when a ragged and bloody white owl holding some parchment flew into her office.

Amelia was shocked as owls don't normally come into offices at the ministry. She began to cast some charms to make sure the owl and parchment wasn't charmed in any way. Once she was satisfied, she took the parchment.

'You don't seem hurt, so I would say this is not your blood,' Amelia was surprised when the owl shook it's head then hooted, but to Amelia, it sounded like a sad hoot, 'Let's see what this is about.'

Amelia looked at the note, which was written in blood. All it said was help, I killed, dying, waiting, Harry Potter.

Amelia's head shot up, 'Is Harry Potter hurt?' She asked the owl who bobbed his head, 'Is it serious?' Again the owl bobbed it's head, 'I'll take care of it. Go to my home, Bones manor. Can you find it?' The owl bobbed it's head again.

Amelia sent two notes off as she hurried from her office, 'Kathy, send an owl to my niece telling her to look after this owl. I'll be out of the office for a while but I can't say how long.'

'Yes ma'am.'

Amelia hurried down to the atrium where she met two aurors, 'We're going to number four Privet drive, Little Whinging, Surrey.'

The three people apparated away from the ministry's apparition spot and landed in the front garden a plain looking home.

'Read this then we'll go in,' Amelia held out the note. Tim and Connie read it and both looked alarmed. They had their wands in their hands before carefully and quietly entering the house. They instantly saw blood, a lot of blood. They hurried through the house and found Harry Potter in a pool of blood but they also noticed that his leg and arm were obviously broken. There was also a lot of cuts and bruises also over him.

'I'll take Harry to St Mungo's, you investigate the scene and find out just who lives here.'

'Yes ma'am,' both aurors said.

Amelia used her emergency portkey to take Harry straight into St Mungo's. She never stopped at the desk with the welcome witch, she went straight through the doors and into one of the examination rooms. She sent her patronus of to heather, a senior healer she had dealt with many times.

'Amelia, are you okay?'

'It's not me, it's Harry Potter.'

Heather instantly saw the boy and began to cast charm after charm over him. She summoned a nurse and told her what potions to get.

'Is he going to be okay?'

'He'll live,' heather said as she continue to work on the boy.

'He'll live but he will have something wrong with him?'

'As of now, yes, I'm hoping he can be healed fully but it will take a long time. That's his left leg and left arm. They both have a lot of nerve and muscle damage. It's his brain I'm more worried about. His head was hit so hard, his brain did swell, which means he could have some type of brain damage. I won't know until he wakes. What happened?'

'I don't know. His owl arrived inside my office, covered in blood with a piece of parchment in it's beak. The message said help, I killed, dying, waiting, Harry Potter and it was written in blood. I already planned to see you after I saw Susan's memories of her first year at Hogwarts. The moment I saw the boy, I knew he had been abused. I had already worked out for some aurors to investigate Hogwarts and I was about to begin my investigation into his home life. I'll need you to do a full scan so I will have proof of the abuse. He'll have an auror guard inside his room at all time. That's mainly due to how many death eaters bought they way out of jail.'

'I'll put him in the secure ward. No one can get in there without the healer of the patients allowing entry and each room can be sealed as well. I'll do the scan now but I can tell you already that he's had a lot of injuries.'

After seeing Harry settled into a secure room, she made sure an auror was given access to the room, if it was needed, otherwise the auror would be sitting outside the room. She was going to work on a roster of aurors she knows are trustworthy.

Amelia returned to the ministry and decided, for now, to take temporary custody of Harry Potter. She knew once word got out about what happened, people like Lucius Malfoy and the minister, Cornelius Fudge would try to gain custody. She had someone in mind to be his proper guardian but that would take time so she had to stop others gaining custody of the boy. She also knew that Harry would be in St Mungo's for a long time. Heather would work her miracles but there were some things that magic just can't fix. She hoped the boy would end up healed, completely, but if he could, it would take a long time.

The two aurors who had stayed behind at the house in Privet drive arrived back. They did not go straight into the auror offices, they went straight to speak with Amelia.

'Did you find out who that house belonged to?'

'Yes, Vernon and Petunia Dursley. We found them, along with another woman and a boy around thirteen or fourteen, all dead. The boy was Dudley Dursley. All of them had been stabbed to death. There was a large knife next to who we believe to be Petunia Dursley,' Tim said.

'We decided to search the house to find out just who these people were. We found an old picture of Petunia Dursley and her sister. The girl in the picture looked like a young Lily Potter.' Connie said.

'So that's where they hid the boy, with Lily's family and we know she was a muggleborn, which means, they were muggles. James would never allow his heir to be raised by muggles. We were all told he was with family, we assumed someone related to the Potter's. Alright, were you able to figure out what happened?'

'The boy was stabbed three times in the stomach. Vernon Dursley was stabbed multiple times, twice in each arm, twice in each leg, twice in the chest and once in the face,' Tim said.

'The other rather large woman was stabbed six time, all to her chest. We could not find out who she was but we believe she was Vernon Dursley's sister since there was a resemblance. She was found next to a dog, who was also stabbed,' Connie said.

'Petunia Dursley had the most injuries. She was basically stabbed in every part of her body but she was also hit with something hard to her face before she was stabbed. We counted twenty seven stab wounds,' Tim said.

'Apart from knowing the boy had been abused and probably by them, we found out that they kept the boy in a cupboard. We found childish writing on the wall inside the cupboard. We found an old blood and urine stained cot size mattress also inside the cupboard. That blood matched the blood where Harry Potter was found.'

'That's why he was so much smaller than he should be. Did you find his belongings?'

'Yes, they're in your outer office. But ma'am, the only person who touched the knife was the boy.'

'Not surprising to hear. Heather explained that the boy was badly beaten. I would say he finally snapped and killed the ones that hurt him. He may have done it himself or he allowed his magic to do it. We'll have to wait until we can speak with him. Heather explained about some of his past injuries, including scars from a dog bite.'

'Which explains why the dog was also killed. Since they are muggles and did hurt a wizard child, they would have been sent to Azkaban. The boy killed them, so what will happen to him?' Tim asked.

'Nothing. Due to the years of abuse, which we now have proof and what was done to him before he killed them, he would normally just see a mind healer but he would also be watched. Normally it's so we can see what he is really like. Some dark children have been good at hiding who they truly are. After seeing just a few memories from Susan, he wasn't dark, he was a scared abused little boy who had suffered for years of abuse. If that abuse continued now he knew about magic, he could easily have turned dark.'

'How did he end up with them?' Connie asked.

'It was Albus Dumbledore who placed him with them. He informed a few of us that he created powerful protection due to Lily and Jame's sacrifice. I just didn't realise he meant her muggle relatives. I would say he used blood wards. We did not see them since Lily's sister and nephew was dead by the time we got there. Did you remove their bodies and clean the house?'

'Yes, it just looks as if they went out and haven't returned,' Tim said.

'How is the boy?' Connie asked.

'not good. Heather isn't sure his arm and leg will heal fully. Right now she's more worried about his brain and how much damage it has. She has placed him in a coma to keep his body completely still in the hope it will heal with her charms and potions. He will be in St Mungo's for a few months, at least.'

Once Amelia and her two aurors had gathered all the evidence they needed, they spoke with the head auror. They put together a group of ten aurors along with Gawain and Amelia to go to Hogwarts. They would need the extra power to arrest Albus Dumbledore and Severus Snape.

It was a fierce fight with two aurors badly injured but they finally disarmed and stunned Albus and Severus. Both had magical suppressant shackles before they were transported to the holding cells at the ministry. Amelia then explained to the rest of the staff why those two men were arrested. Naturally she could not go into details so she gave them the basic information.

It only took a week but Severus Snape was sentenced to life in Azkaban. He was transported there straight away. Albus Dumbledore lost his jobs, all his jobs, as headmaster of Hogwarts, as supreme mugwump of the international confederation of wizards and chief warlock on the Wizengamot. He would not go to Azkaban but apart from losing his jobs, he was heavily fined. He was also magically forced to stay away from Harry Potter, forever, which included having others approach the boy on his behalf.

Time skip:

It took more than a year before Harry was able to be woken from the coma. He needed a lot of physical therapy but also a lot of potions and healing charms. He had partial memory loss, which wasn't unexpected but he did regain most of his memory. He had no memory at all of his first year at Hogwarts, that included who he might have met. He had no memory of receiving his Hogwarts letter or going shopping with Hagrid to buy everything he needed for Hogwarts. The last thing he remembered was being at the zoo with the Dursley's and releasing the snake.

Once word got out that Harry was awake, he received many letters. Since he didn't know who the people were that were sending him letters, he gave them to his new guardians, Andromeda and Ted Tonks.

'From what information we were able to get, Albus set up your meeting with the Weasley's. The memories I saw from Susan showed me that the youngest boy was very rude, had bad manners and he was a bully to anyone that tried to get close to you. To us, it seems like Albus wanted you close to that family who support him. It could be because of the-boy-who-lived and he was concerned who might get close to you or it could be some other reason. From everything we have found out, he did want to keep an eye on you. It could be innocent but it may not be. After we found out he left you with those people and allowed Snape to mistreat you, we do not believe it is innocent. He had plans of some kind. We believe it would be best if you did not continue your friendship with them, in any way since they did support Dumbledore.'

'Alright, if he had anything to do with it, then they aren't someone I would trust. I also don't like bullies. But doesn't that mean we're in the same house?'

'For now, but I plan to speak with Madam Longbottom to see if you can be placed in Hufflepuff. It's not just to keep you away from the Weasley children, it's also because Gryffindor house is in the tower and you will not be able to continuously go up and down seven floors a few times a day. Hufflepuff house in on the ground floor. It will be easier for you if you were housed there. I will also need to work on a way for you to get to your classes, once you do return. Charms in on the fourth floor, south side. Transfiguration is on the fifth floor, east side. There would be a lot of walking which you cannot do.'

'Okay, so how would I get to my classes?'

'The easiest would be either using the floo to go to each floor, or we work on a reusable portkey that will take you to each floor your classes are held and back to Hufflepuff house. Also the hospital, in case you need it.'

'We won't need to worry about that now. The healers explained that it will take a year, minimum before you could return to your education. Madam Bones has worked it for us to be allowed teach you until you are well enough to return,' ted said with a smile.

'Between me, Ted and Dora, we will cover all subjects and have you up to where you should be for your age.' Andy said.

'Okay, and I would rather not go yet, not until I'm better. It still gets hard to concentrate with the pain.'

'Yes, we know. It will get better, it will just take time.'

Time skip:

It took another two years before Harry could return to Hogwarts. During this time it was discovered that Sirius Black was innocent, so he was now free and helping Harry with his education. He would visit every day mainly to help but he also wanted to get to know his godson.

When Harry was able to return to Hogwarts, he did join Hufflepuff house and they were told what was wrong with Harry, so they could help him, if he needed it.

Harry's brain was healed but there would be times when he would just stare into space. He will never have full use of his left leg and left arm. Andromeda, Ted, their daughter, Tonks, who was an auror and Sirius, they had been teaching Harry during these three years. They did not want him to be too far behind, if he was ever able to return to his schooling. He had basically finished his fourth year but they decided he should return to the same year, which was fourth year. He would be able to go over everything but also help others, if they wanted help. It was also because he was good friends with Susan so he wanted to stay close to her.

Since Sirius had been cleared, thanks to finding Peter Pettigrew, he helped Andy and Ted with Harry's school work. Originally he was supposed to be Harry's guardian if anything happened to James and Lily. Sirius was pleased that Andy and Ted were Harry's guardian, he, Sirius, would remain as Harry's godfather.

When Harry was ready to return to Hogwarts, Sirius had been offered a teaching position when the headmistress, Augusta Longbottom heard that Harry would be able to return to Hogwarts. She thought having Harry's godfather there might stop anyone causing trouble for the boy. Sirius was now the transfiguration teacher. Augusta was able to tell Minerva McGonagall that she was sacked. Augusta had been waiting to get rid of the woman who would not stop sticking up for Albus Dumbledore. He only had a few supporters left, Minerva was one. Now she was gone from Hogwarts and she was the last of Albus Dumbledore's supporters inside Hogwarts.

Sirius taught Harry how to use a portkey, it would be the best way for him to get from the great hall to just outside each classroom. Now they used one to get to the Hufflepuff rooms, where Pomona was waiting for them. She had visited Harry when she found out he would now be in her house.

'Welcome back Mr Potter.'

'Thanks.'

'Let me show you to your room, which is right off the common room. We felt that you should take over the head boy room as it would be easier than having to keep going up the steps to the boys dorm rooms.'

Harry followed his head of house to a part of the wall that had a portrait of Helga Hufflepuff. She asked the portrait to open, which it did then the three of them walked into the room.

'We had the bathroom modified for you as well so you will not need to step over anything. There is also a built in shower seat, if you think you need it.'

'Usually if I overdo it then I might need to use it.'

'I best let you settle in while I go join the students, who have just started to have dinner.'

'Thanks Professor, for everything.'

'You're welcome son. I do hope you will be comfortable in my house.'

'I know I will.'

'Come on pup, let's get your things put away then get to the great hall.'

'Don't you have to settle in as well?'

'I will, after dinner.'

A house elf popped in and began to put Harry's things away before Harry or Sirius moved. Both of them thanked the elf before leaving the room and heading towards the great hall.

'Try to ignore the staring. Everyone knows you were hurt, just not how and they know you now have a disability. We all believed no one needed to know the details of how you were hurt. They don't know that you have changed houses. I'm sure some of the ones from Gryffindor will ask you.'

'I know and I remember what I have to say if they ask. I'll be fine Sirius.'

'Alright, let's get this over with.'

The sound in the great hall fell silent when Harry limped in with his godfather beside him. Many whispered about the limp and walking stick, but also about Sirius Black. They knew he was innocent and Harry's godfather, they also knew he was now their transfiguration teacher.

Many on the Gryffindor table smiled, until they noticed that Sirius helped Harry to the Hufflepuff table and had him sit next to Susan Bones, who seemed friendly with Harry and Sirius.

'Most of us will talk after dinner so for now, just enjoy your dinner Harry.'

'Thanks Susan.'

The first thing Hermione noticed was that Harry's robes now had the Hufflepuff badge on it and not Gryffindor's.

'He's been resorted, his robe has the Hufflepuff badge on it now.'

'What? But why?' Ron blurted out.

'I would say it's due to his injury. He cannot keep going up to the tower. Hufflepuff house is on this floor. I wonder how he is going to get to all his classes.'

'What about quidditch? He was our seeker.'

'Ron, use your head. He can hardly use his left arm and needs a walking stick. He would not be able to fly anymore. Gryffindor will need to find a new seeker. I'm just pleased that Harry is okay.'

'He doesn't look okay.'

'He almost died. I would say being alive is an improvement,' Hermione said in a huff. She went back to her dinner but she could not stop staring over at Harry who seemed to be very friendly with Susan Bones.

Right at the end of dinner and after the announcements, Hermione hurried over to the Fufflepuff table.

'Harry.'

Harry stared at the girl, 'Did we know each other?'

'This is Hermione Granger, remember, I mentioned you were friends.'

'Oh, right, I forgot. That happens a lot. Um, it's nice to meet you.'

'Oh Harry. I would have visited but none of us were told where you were.'

'My new guardians didn't want too many visitors while I was healing. I saw Susan a lot, since I had a lot of meetings with her aunt. Um, I don't want to be rude, but I need to go rest.'

'Oh, I'm sorry. I just wanted to see if you were okay.'

'I'm as good as I'm going to get.'

'Come on Harry,' Susan said giving him a smile then slowly walked beside him as they walked out of the great hall.

Hermione stared after her friend as the tears fell from her eyes.

'What's wrong Hermione?' Ginny asked.

'he didn't remember me. I know Madam Longbottom said he had some problems, I didn't know he would have memory loss.'

'Did he remember any of us?'

'I don't know but going on what I saw, no, he doesn't. He said he only saw Susan who visited when her aunt had to speak with Harry. That was probably about his attack.'

Sirius walked down towards the group of Gryffindor's, 'Harry has no memory of Hogwarts, so he has no memory of any of you. The healers said he may never regain his memory and we are not allowed to push or his magic might lash out, which means you could get hurt. It's best to not bring up anything from his time here.'

'Is he in Hufflepuff because he can't go up to the tower?' Ginny asked.

'Yes, he still suffers from a lot of pain.'

'What about his classes?' Hermione asked.

'He is going to be given a reusable portkey for each classroom and the hospital. Because he is now in Hufflepuff, he won't be sharing many classes with you and since he will now be spending time with the Hufflepuff's, he will end up with friends in that house. He has been filled in on his time in Gryffindor, but to him, it's like hearing about someone else. You lot better get up to the tower.'

Sirius could tell that Hermione was just upset about Harry being hurt and doesn't remember her due to his injuries. Ginny was upset she would not get to spend any time with Harry. Sirius could tell straight away that she was more interested in the-boy-who-lived, more than Harry. He could also tell that Ron didn't like the fact that he would no longer be best friends with the-boy-who-lived. Sirius will never say it, but he was pleased that his godson would not be involved with Molly Weasley's children. He had met her a few times before he went to Azkaban and didn't like the woman at all. Now he knew two of her children mainly wanted to know Harry due to his fame. He was going to make sure they stayed away from his godson.

That evening in the common room, Harry got to meet all the other Hufflepuff's and found most of them were really nice people. They went into details about many different subjects. One thing they talked about was how from the time Professor Longbottom became headmistress, she got tougher on trouble making students. In the first month she was there, a dozen Slytherin students had been expelled. Two Ravenclaw students had been suspended but when they returned, they were put on restrictions for the way they bullied another younger female Ravenclaw. Harry thought it was better to get tougher on students, or they could end up seriously hurting someone.

It was during breakfast the following morning when the owls delivered the mail. Harry got a letter.

'Susan, this is from that woman who kept writing and saying I should live with her.'

'I wouldn't bother opening it, just give it to Sirius, um I mean Professor Black.'

'Thanks,' Harry put the letter aside then began to eat his breakfast. He didn't know that he was being watched closely by Ron and Ginny.

The two red heads saw Harry hand the unopened letter to Sirius Black. Who put it in his robes. They did hear him say he will be speaking with Harry's guardians about forcing that woman to leave Harry alone, along with anyone in her family.

Ron and Ginny had both written to their mother in the hope they could find some way they could stay friends with Harry. Now it might have gotten their mother in trouble.

During the day while the students were in class, aurors did arrive at the Burrow to magically force Molly Weasley to leave Harry Potter alone, which included her husband and her children. They plan to speak with Arthur Weasley so he could inform his children about the now magically enforced law.

By the time the end of the school year rolled around, Harry was dating Susan Bones. She did not care about Harry's injuries. He was cute, he was nice and he was smart. She knew that he might not be able to do some things, but he would end up making a good life for himself. She had no idea if they would remain together but for now, they had a good relationship.

It was as the Hogwarts express pulled into platform nine and three quarters that Albus Dumbledore broke the magical sealed notice to stay away from Harry Potter. Albus had told a few people that he needed to speak with Ron and Ginny. That normally would be allowed yet the magic surrounding the sealed noticed sensed the truth. Albus was really trying to speak with Harry. As he was approaching Harry, he dropped dead. There was a lot of shock and screaming but Andromeda instantly took Harry and Susan home so Amelia could deal with what happened. Amelia found out not long after Albus died that Molly Weasley also died. She had been with Albus and they had planned to take Harry and hide him at the Burrow. Albus should have known what could happen if he broke a magical sealed notice, yet he still broke it which caused his death. They were not sure if Molly Weasley knew she could die for breaking the notice. Amelia did not know that Albus tried to act like he was seeing someone else. He believed it would allow him and Molly to get to Harry if they kept their thoughts on seeing Ron and Ginny. Magic had other idea's.

Andromeda, Ted and Sirius decided to not say anything to Harry about the reasons they died. All Harry knew was Albus Dumbledore died on platform nine and three quarters. Amelia had made sure the information on the magical sealed noticed was not leaked to the Daily Prophet or any other news paper or magazine. They felt that Harry had enough problems with his brain and the pain due to his injuries, it was best to keep him in the dark, at least for now.

By the time Harry, Susan and their friends returned for their fifth years, many of them found out that the Weasley children were no longer at Hogwarts. Sirius ended up explaining to Harry that Arthur Weasley realised it would be best for his family if he had them go to school overseas and live with his oldest son. Arthur did not want to lose anyone else. He was upset and grieving for his wife but he also blamed Albus Dumbledore for losing his wife. He also blamed Molly for not following the law, which caused her death. He did not want to cause any of his children to die. It was safer to have them educated in Egypt, Bill worked so he was able to find them a home and enrol them in school. But not long after the Weasley children began at their new school that Arthur quit his job at the ministry, packed up his home and moved overseas. He decided all of them would start a new life in another country.

Hermione had become friends with Harry again but they were not as close at they used to be. She ended up closer to some of the other Hufflepuff's. They had told her that they never spoke to her before because of Ron and how he acted. Hermione knew Ron bullied many and he was very rude to almost everyone not in Gryffindor. But she was finding out that he did a lot more than she realised. Susan explained to Hermione how Albus Dumbledore had set up the meeting between Ron and Harry so Harry would become close to the Weasley family. It was so they could keep Dumbledore informed on everything Harry did. Susan also explained how it was Dumbledore who put Harry with magic hating muggles. Her aunt never found out why, only that Harry had been badly abused, until he was attacked, which caused all his injuries and memory loss. That was all down to Albus Dumbledore. Hermione finally realised that what she thought she knew about Dumbledore was all a lie. He was not a good man in any way. He might have defeated Grindelwald but he was not the leader of the light.

Every since Augusta Longbottom took over as headmistress, Hogwarts was a safe place for students to learn. There were normal arguments and fights between the students but nothing serious or dangerous.

Harry went on the graduate in the top five students. Susan, Hermione, Padma and Daphne were also in the top five. Hermione first, Daphne second, Harry third, then Susan forth and Padma fifth. All of them got O in every subject.

Sirius decided that he would continue teaching even though Harry had left his magical education. He still spent a lot of time with Harry but he was finally an adult and engaged to Susan Bones.

Over those last couple of years, Harry's arm and leg were healed a little more but he still couldn't walk properly or use his left hand but the pain had lessened.

What Harry, Sirius, Susan or anyone else knew was Ginny and Ron Weasley had both snuck back into the country and were hiding on platform nine and three quarters for Harry. They were disillusioned so no one could see them. The moment they went to move towards Harry when he stepped off the train, they died. It would be hours before the charm wore off and they were found. Just like Molly who had been told about the magical enforced law to stay away from Harry Potter, Ron and Ginny had been told by their father. They seemed to think like their mother, that magic would not affect them. Now the Weasley family had lost two more members.

Susan went on to follow her aunt and become an auror. Due to his injuries, Harry ended up becoming an apprentice under Sirius to get his masters in transfiguration. But Harry wanted to get his masters in charms and potions, he would do them after he finished his transfiguration apprenticeship. He hoped one day in the distant future, after he had children and they were grown, he just might end up back at Hogwarts, teaching. He had helped Sirius in his class a few times and didn't find it difficult so he figured his disability wouldn't hinder him if he did end up teaching.

Harry and Susan went on to have four children. By the time the fourth was born, Harry had his masters in transfiguration, charms, potions and defence against the dark arts.

By the time his youngest finished Hogwarts, Harry and Susan were offered teaching jobs at Hogwarts. Harry became the potions master while Susan taught charms.

From the time Harry left Hogwarts, there had been more babies born in the wizarding world then any other time in their history. Half the babies were half-bloods. A quarter were pure-bloods and a quarter were muggleborns. Witches and wizards might not be put in classes anymore when it came to blood but people still found it easier to explain if they used those old fashioned terms.

Even though Harry was hurt badly that day by the Dursley's, his life and the life of almost everyone in the wizarding world got better, a lot better. Harry had suffered a lot of pain that day but from that moment on, the witches and wizards of Great Britain had a world that suited everyone.

The end:
