Life in Rohan was simple and peaceful for the most part. With war looming over the horizon, many fear they will lose the people they care for. Éomer has already lost more than he had ever thought he would and begins to lose hope for a chance at peace and happiness more and more with each loss. That is until he meets a young seamstress who brings a bit of light back into his life.

But the years after his fall are not quiet ones for the peoples of the North as a struggle to control the wealth flowing from Erebor threatens to consume them.
