Even the Absolute Zero bullet cannot tame the Promare. Everything burns.

What if the promare were sentient? What if they could speak through Lio (through song) and had a personality of their own? Aka after listening to the soundtrack for promare I had a few scenes pop into my head. Galo and Lio's relationship can be friendship or romantic. Three-shot!

"Why do you always insist on going here? We can get food anywhere else-" "Because it makes me happy. It's a good place- and you deserve to know all the best places after what you've been through, right?" –Galo and Lio go to their favourite pizzeria every day for different reasons, captured in a short collection. Post-movie.

It's the first time Lio wakes up cold and sick. He'd done something stupid, hadn't he?

Galo only wanted to know about Lio's family and if he could return to them. If only he knew what it was like for a Burnish to go home.

Lio thought all the promare had returned to their dimension, until he finds some that have made a nest in his fireplace.

After the battle for the planet comes to a close, Lio has some painful realizations to make. Thank goodness Galo's too dense to ever leave him alone. -Set a day after the movie.

[Warning: Spoilers abound within] "I can't. I can't burn," Lio manages. "I just can't. Not anymore. I'm spent." He stares at his hand, acutely aware that one arm had fallen to ash. He feels no pain, just a numbness tingling at his shoulder. "There's nothing left of me to burn." Lio's life flashes before his eyes before Galo revives him. (Cross-posted to AO3)
