As Jervis pours him tea and his heart out, some of Jonathan's fears become not so in vain, after all. (This takes place after the fanfic OotBitF and is a bit slower-paced.)

Over the course of my life I've met the Batman close to a hundred times. Well, 'met' may be too strong a word for the glances I caught of him in the beginning, but it's been a long time since the beginning and things change fast in Gotham. I guess this is what comes from being associated with the vigilante king. Paranoia. Possibly insanity, but for now just paranoia.
