A collection of short stories, mostly about Thranduil and Legolas facing every new day, fight and adventure under the canopy of their beloved forest with more or less grace.

As an Elleth trying to help save Middle Earth, I was far too busy to be looking for romance. Despite this, I ended up finding it with someone I would never have expected. Unexpectedly turned into a cat, Kat joins the Fellowship of the Ring with the mission to prevent a death. Changing history in a feline form is no easy task, especially as only Legolas the elf can communicate with her. That he is a very good-looking specimen is not helpful at all… – A different take on the 10th Walker trope, seasoned with a generous amount of humor. (Book canon)

In the works of Tolkien, we learn only little about the early centuries of Elrond and his brother Elros. This story begins in their childhood and details the tragic events which would change Elrond forever... and make him the wise, patient, and calm elf that we know. No need to know the books.
