The following will be a collection of short pieces exploring what was happening to various Star Trek characters during the backstory events of Star Trek Picard. The first of which is Where Fear Drives Us feature Picard himself and the now successful author Jake Sisko. The second involves Julian Bashir being interrogated by some very suspicious Romulans.

Sloan, the notorious leader of Section 31, has killed Starfleet C-in-C, Admiral Alynna Necheyav, and captured former Admiral Kathryn Janeway, in an attempt to finally get his hands on Seven of Nine. As Sloan and Benjamin Maxwell move around unseen, events in other locations and with other ships threaten to engulf the Alpha Quadrant, The Federation, and The Klingon Empire, in war.

As the Alpha Quadrant teeters on the edge of hostilities, the actions of individuals flung across the Quadrant from QonoS, Earth, Vulcan, and Fenris could determine whether there is another cataclysmic war, or if a way can be found to keep the peace. Can Janeway, Seven, Picard, Riker, Jellico, and others, stop The Federation from becoming a force of terror?

The Alpha Quadrant is on the brink of war, after a Federation Diplomat is assassinated on the planet Fenris. Admiral Alynna Necheyav is trying to use leverage against Fenris and the Fenris Rangers to force Seven of Nine to surrender to her. However, a new variable has been injected into the crisis.

Admiral Elizabeth Shelby's Federation fleet has arrived at Fenris, in an attempt to apprehend Seven of Nine, wanted for a series of murders in the Alpha Quadrant, when freeing former Drones. Meanwhile, Kathryn Janeway, Seven, Jean-Luc Picard and others, are trying to keep Seven from Necheyav and stop the slow procession of The Federation toward dictatorship.

With The Federation attacking and occupying Covis III, and learning that Seven of Nine and Kathryn Janeway were recently on that planet, the Alpha Quadrant is inching toward war. From the planet of

Short and sweet oneshot story based on ST Picard episode 8: "Broken Pieces".
