Of all people, Charlotte Heywood does not expect to find Mr. Crowe knocking on her family's front door.

Sanditon season 1 ended horribly. With no guarantee of a second season, I have to give Charlotte and Sidney a happy ending. Charlotte and Alison set off back for Sanditon to be Lady D companions. Sidney realizes he's making a huge mistake by marrying Eliza and seeks out other means to pay Lady D. With some help from friends and family, S & C will find their way back to each other.

An attempt to resolve the cliffhanger of Sanditon Season 1, while staying as true as possible to the times and style of Jane Austen. Mostly focusing on Charlotte and Sidney, and how to bring them together for the happy ending they deserve.

After many weeks in tropical paradise and venturing across endless waves, Lady D. can't wait to finally return to Sanditon. It's a place where she can keep her heart under lock and key, and focus her attention on something other than her own regrets and misfortunes. But she can't go back just yet. She's promised Captain Malcolm she'll attend his daughter's wedding in Scotland ...

Like everyone reading this, I am sure, I was heartbroken over the lack of ending to Sanditon and the fact that it is likely to end on a cliffhanger. So here, without further ado, is my continuation. I hope it brings some amusement.

This is a bit of a different approach to Sanditon, but certain people are still the same (more or less). Lotta is curious, courageous, and excited about the prospect of her new life in busy London. When she witnesses a man being kidnapped in the backyard of a theatre, she has to rush in - only to find herself propelled into a reality that is a lot stranger than any fiction...

Realizing too little too late, Eliza Campion heads toward her second loveless marriage with head held high and no illusions of more. Managing her soon to be husband's broken heart, her own budding desire to be cherished and rebuilding the lives of an entire town may be a tall order though. Rated M for later chapters. A story which gives more insight to Charlotte's and Sidney's thoughts and feelings than we saw on screen, plus will continue beyond the sad ending of season 1 to ensure they get the ending they deserve.

What happened in the carriage ride to Scotland to make Sidney aware that he had underestimated Charlotte? How did they each reflect on the events that had brought them to this point? Mostly Sidney's POV, with some dialogue. Oneshot for now, but maybe more to come.

What if Miss Georgiana Lambe had not been kidnapped during the cricket game but had instead escaped Sanditon with Mr Otis Molyneux? This story follows Charlotte and Sidney's efforts to find/save Miss Lambe and perhaps find their true feelings along the way too.
