This story is a sequel to "Refuge." It was supposed to be a one shot, but surprise! You do need to read that one first or this will not make sense as it is AU.

Walt Longmire is considered to most a living legend. After Walt led his department and the tribal police together to stop Malachi and his band of thugs he became a living legend to the people of Wyoming. After the events Walt retired and swore to be done with the police force for good. Walt may have stopped the threat for then, but trouble always finds its way into Absaroka county.

All Walt Longmire wants to do following his retirement is live a peaceful life. But for a man that many consider to be a living legend, that might not be possible, putting his relationship with Vic to the ultimate test.

Haven't posted in a long time. Still have some stories to write. Here's another silly little one-shot. I'm still fixated with Walt and Vic and their burgeoning relationship. I guess this story takes place around Season 3 or 4. No bodice-ripping going on here. I don't usually get many comments about my postings, but would certainly enjoy some here.
