19th story in my series: This story follows straight on from 'Escape From Italy'. The team have arrived back in England from Switzerland. Garrison and Chief are still recovering from the physical and mental impact Caen had on them, Garrison is shocked to find it has affected him most of all. It takes Chief to get him through it.

For Christopher Carey, the wonderfully versatile actor who gave us Goniff, the brilliant, exasperating, sticky-fingered, wickedly childlike, likeable rogue of a thief on what would have been his 91st birthday. 16th June 1930 – 1st April 2000. Always loved and never forgotten.

18th story in my series: The team is sent out to Milan to give misinformation to a German Colonel but things don't go as planned and they have to face a daunting trek over the Alps to Switzerland with Krauts and partisans hot on their trail.

A basic mission for Lt Garrison and his four men. Are their missions ever basic?

17th story in my series: While Garrison and Chief are away on a 'debrief' the rest of the guys have a week's leave in London. Things get interesting when Actor recognises a criminal who cost him a lot of money. Revenge is a dish best served cold, with a side order of Goniff and Casino!

16th story in my series: Chief finds himself in unfamiliar territory after Garrison cons him into two weeks' rest and recreation. His world is turned upside down and will never be the same.

15th Story in My Series: Garrison and Chief are still recovering mentally and physically from their ordeal in Caen but things get hectic after a phone call from Major Richards - Jack's back!

This was a suggestion for a story quite awhile ago. The guys are accused of stealing from Allied Command. Were their down time activities taken too far? .

In two days time it will be the anniversary of Rudy Solari's death. In tribute, I am posting my view of how life panned out for him once the war was over.

Episode 7 of my Gorillas Series. Casino came out of Yugoslavia damaged both physically and mentally. Not fit to go to Switzerland with the rest of the team Garrison needs to find a way to keep the volatile safecracker occupied - and perhaps find a way to put some of his demons to rest. The timeline for this story runs parallel to Chapter 5 of A Winter's Tale.

13th Story in My Series: This story follows directly after 'A Little Downtime'. Garrison finds himself in a new chain of command and closer to what Chief's been up to. The team is sent on a mission to France. Unbeknownst to them someone is working against them, resulting in a nightmare for Garrison and even worse for Chief. Note: this story contains some description of torture.

12th story in my series: 'A Little Downtime' was originally the opening two chapters of my next story 'Caen', but its light-hearted tone didn't fit in with the much darker story to follow. It does stand alone as a fun episode in the lives of the 'boys' – a near perfect day for all of them before everything goes to hell.

This story is in honor of what would have been Cesare Danova's 95th birthday. As we always say, gone too soon, but not forgotten.
