At the end of the war, monsters don't have the choice : they have to join Mont Ebott for survive an other day. Sans and Papyrus, forced to run away after the attack of their village, are delivered to the horror of the war without any help and this one objective. But as sons of the royal scientist, W.D Gaster, they are an easy target. Both of them start a dangerous journey.

Taking place after the Neutral Run, it has been Fifteen years since Fisk fell into the underground. Now she is back and this time nothing will stop her from freeing the Monsters that have been trapped for so long, and if that damn flower tries anything then Frisk will make sure it has a very bad time.

For Monsterkind, the Surface represented freedom. For Frisk, it's a return to some uncomfortable realities. It all began with a simple wish. When that wish faded, Frisk tried to move on. Except, 'moving on' was not so simple. Emerging from the Underground had put them in a worldwide spotlight. From an unknown child, they had become an icon of great value.

In the post-True-Pacifist world not everything is as it seems. Can the soulless really live on with a soul. Are monster and human hybrids bad or good and most importantly, can a fox handle an immortal flower.

Exploring the surface and freeing mankind from their prison to pave the way for even greater heights is a great and noble cause. But why 'Frisk' of all people? And why does our King insist that she leaves with that damn thing? Though something in the back of my head is bugging me... Will this young innocent youth ever come back the same from this experience? (updated)

Sans has questions: Who are these people? Why did they kidnap him, and how do they know so much about him? In any case, they don't seem too dangerous. What's the harm in sticking around to find out? After all, his life has always been pretty weird. Why would that stop now? Sans' memory has never been the best. History's forgotten far more. Oh well, at least they have each other.

As they sit under the statue of the broken prince, treating each other's wounds, Flowey asks why Frisk feels the need to spare everyone after they've both been killed many times, angry about the risks she takes.
