Time After Midnight is one of my favorite BV episodes. I decided to alter it to be able to add my OC Sarah. It takes place after season four in my AU. Audra is away visiting relatives.

Short story that takes place the year before the episode "Run of the Cat". I got the idea from the scene where Jarrod finds out Nick has gone after the cat that attacked him. He can't understand why Nick feels determined to do this until Victoria and Audra remind him of an incident with a horse and a midnight ride Jarrod took.

Over a decade ago, I knew a wonderful lady who was an avid Nickite. So much so, that her username was Mrs. Nick on a few BV boards. Everyone in the Valley knew of her love for Nick and of Peter Breck. She guided me on this Nick story and gave her blessing. Nick meets a beautiful stranger who steals his heart but an enemy is after her. Will they get to have their happy ending?

Jarrod decides to heed some good advice and take a few weeks' holiday, accepting a ride on a friend's boat from San Francisco to Napa. The holiday turns out differently than he planned, and Nick and Heath have to join in.

Audra learns some basic life tools from her brother.

A series of unrelated fics and drabbles centered on the Barkley family. Chapter 5: Episode tag to S1E10, The Murdered Party. Nick has intense emotions, particularly and especially about family.

"Newlywed Games" is the name of a book written by Mary Davis. I borrowed her storyline and rewrote it to give it a Big Valley twist.

This is an alternative ending to The Odyssey of Jubal Tanner.

Jarrod and Eliza ten years later

A one-chapter look at the first time Heath used his Barkley inheritance in my AU Bermuda. I have often wondered how hard it was for him to acclimate to the Barkley wealth and this is my take on it.

In "The Haunted Gun," Jarrod struggled with his defense of Sen. Robson. Worried about him, Audra asked if he wanted to talk and he said "not yet." Audra told him "if and when." After Robson's death, Jarrod takes her up on it.

This is the third part of a three part story arc. The first two parts are The End and The Middle. I would recommend the reader read those before beginning this story. After suffering a tragic loss, Jarrod Barkley needs to go on with his life. Will he find happiness again?

This is the backstory for all of the Elizabeth and Jarrod stories. They may be read as stand-alones or as AU of AU's.
