This is an AU story set in present times. The United States has fallen under fascism. Jo and Blair are in their twenties and (along with the rest of the TFOL characters) are part of an underground resistance fighting to restore democracy to the U.S.A. There are serious undertones, but this story is offered in a humorous manner. Satire is a protected under the First Amendment.

When Blair hears of an apparent date gone right between Jo and Nancy, she does the only thing she can think to do: make Jo take her on a date, too. There's no way that can go wrong, right?

Both Blair and her cousin Geri have had time to reflect upon everything that happened between them when Geri first visited her at Eastland. While Blair has some issues that she needs to get off her chest with Mrs. Garrett, Geri talks about everything with her mother, and surprisingly, Geri learns that she needs a reality check when it comes to her relationship with Blair.

She always had a chip on her shoulder but not for the reason that most people think as she always had to be careful how close she got to other in fear of them finding out her secret. Jo kept her feelings for Blair lock away in fear of ruining their friendship but when Heather Hunt enrolls at Langley, things that was hidden come to light and it has an explosive reaction. A/N: I know people are waiting for an update to 'Bodyguard' but an idea came into my head before Christmas and just wouldn't let go til I got it written down and shared with you all.
