After two months holed up in a facility, the survivors of the events of A City Fallen attain contact with a hostile faction, who does not take kindly to their base being occupied. The survivors are forced into a struggle to survive as a pair of hyperintelligent superpredators stalk them, harbouring a deadly secret.
