Well, who would blame them for wanting to go to a fancy school? I mean, of course they would get in. Though her thoughts sound positive, Diamond Tiara felt bitter about the whole thing. Not because she can't go, but because-

Diamon shook her head. "Just get Silver Spoon and get out of here."

The sky darkened into the night. The festival's lights provided her light, but Diamond knows they have to go back home now.

She searched high and low, trying to look for her friend from any of the stalls, but her eyes soon noticed something: a long red ribbon tied to one of the food stalls.

Before a certain somepony could pop up in her mind, Diamond Tiara reminded herself, Her bow is pink, not red.

Still, curiosity got the best of her, and she decided to follow the red ribbon to the end. What was she hoping for? Diamond doesn't have much of a clue herself til she noticed a certain yellow filly.

"Apple Bloom?" Her mouth catch up before her brain did, noticing the red ribbon was attached to the yellow filly's bow.

For a moment, Apple Bloom stiffened at her voice, but she turned to her. "Oh, hey, Diamond Tiara."

Diamond's eyes never left the bow. "...What is... this?"

"This? Ah... It's just something Sweetie Belle found in one of her sis's magazines. She wanted to test it out on me first though." Apple Bloom blushed, maybe in embarrassment.

For some reason, Diamond didn't want to know what this 'test' is for. "So, where's your friends?"

"I don't know. Lost them, I guess."

"You too?"

Apple Bloom shrugged, leaving them in an awkward silence besides the ponies passing them. Diamond felt like she has to fill the silence, to use this opportunity for catch up.

"Hey, do you want to get some cotton candy I think you ribbon leads to one." Diamond asked, scratching the back of her head.

"Yeah, sure, I need a treat after all that waiting."

From the bushes, three fillies watched the two walk off together.

"Huh, i can't believe that actually worked." Silver Spoon said.

"What did I tell you?" Sweetie Belle proudly grinned at her accomplishment.

"You're just lucky that some other pony didn't found the ribbon." Scootaloo rolled her eyes.

"That just means it's fate."

"Should we meet them at the cotton candy stand? Or give them some time?" Silver Spoon asked.

"Give them time, definitely. In the meantime, we should get some prizes." Sweetie Belle pranced along, with Scootaloo and Silver Spoon following behind her.
