Chapter 1: It's a Zoo Out There

It had been a simple day, like any other, in Forever Fall…

Beacon's first-year students had just finished gathering their assignment, multiple jars of tree sap. All had not gone smoothly, one team in particular having caused quite a bit of trouble for their peers.

Team Cardinal had been escorted back to their ride, covered by quite a few marks from their little tussle with the Ursa that had attacked them. They had been saved by possibly the weakest student in their year… the very same guy they'd bullied.

But, despite that, the blonde boy had helped them anyway…

It really put things in perspective for the quartet…

Jaune was left staring at the rising bullhead, ferrying some students back to their school. He turned towards his handiwork, the Grimm he'd slayed already having dissolved. The remains disappeared completely, leaving nothing in its stead.

It was time for Jaune to move on as well, he'd received a message from his team to meet up with them.

Jaune started walking, then he felt… something…

The blonde teen wasn't sure what it was, only that it seemed odd… Like, when someone was staring over your shoulder and you could feel their presence was a little too close. Jaune turned his head to face a deserted part of the forest… was something there?

His survival instincts screamed at him to walk away, return to his team as quickly as he could… But, after he'd finished off that Ursa, did he really need to worry all that much?

'I can always call Pyrrha, if I end up in over my head…' the young Arc assured himself, moving closer.

Upon reaching his destination, Jaune glanced about. There wasn't anything around here… not even Grimm.

"It must just have been my imagination and nerves getting the best of me…" he muttered to himself, ready to walk away- suddenly, something caught his eye.

It was a tiny glint, one that froze him in his tracks. Jaune stared at it for a few seconds, 'there's something there…' He was sure of it this time.

Jaune moved closer and closer, until he spotted what had drawn his attention. "What's this?" he wondered, picking something up off the ground.

It was a strange, golden piece of metal. It had a golden cover and a vaguely funnel-like shape. It was small… a little larger than his fist, with strange blue markings on it. Over its lid was an image resembling the broken moon.

His hand had been strangely drawn to it. "Did someone leave this here?" It didn't look like a weapon, but he'd learned from Coco that ANYTHING could be a weapon…

His fingers brushed across the mysterious object, everything fell quiet.

The world seemed to freeze, just as all sounds seemed to disappear, leaving only eerie silence. Jaune barely had time to acknowledge what had happened when the sky began to darken, the golden object in his hands shaking strongly enough that the blonde teen dropped it.

Blue smoke started to pour out of the item, it quickly engulfed Jaune's entire body. He was left to stare, dumbfounded, as the smoke started taking shape. Soon he was staring at a huge, humanoid figure. One with a smoky tail, jutting out where its legs should have been.

It was a… blue man? Thing?

"I'M AWAKE!" his voice boomed, the entity stretching his arms into the air and cracking his neck.

"W-WHAT?!" Jaune yelled in response. Although that wasn't the first thing that had come to mind, while staring at this… strange, blue, Grimm man?

"Give me a second here, Kid… I was just in the middle of my vacation and decided to take a nap…" The blue body began stretching and spinning in unnatural ways, anyone normal would have broken their spine if they'd tried to imitate him. "Simply sleeping for a few years was a nice change of pace!"

'I'm dreaming right now… that has to be it…' the blonde teen concluded, shaking his head from side to side.

"No… I told you, "I" was the one napping…" the blue creature replied.

'It… it can read my mind?!' Panic rose up in the young Arc's body.

"I can… and I have a name you know. Kids these days are so rude…" he shot back.

"You do? W-what is it?" the blonde teen asked.

"Can't you read the name tag?" the blue thing questioned, pointing to his chest.

There was nothing there, Jaune simply stared dumbly for a few seconds.

"Oh! Oops, my mistake!" the thing declared, before snapped his fingers, followed by a tiny poof. Suddenly, a tiny name tag appeared on his chest.

"Ge… nie?" Jaune struggled to read the badly scrawled name.

"It's not Ge-nie… it's Genie!" Genie declared, flicking the tag away. "…and you are?"

Jaune snapped to attention, he answered quickly. "Me? I'm Jaune, Jaune Arc!"

"Jaune D'arc?" Genie looked confused for a moment.

"No, Jaune Arc!" the blonde boy emphasized.

"Mmm… I'm sure it's just a coincidence- that, or a parallel universe…" Genie concluded, appearing to ponder something.

"What about you? What ARE you?" the young huntsman in training asked.

"I'm a genie!" he declared, the smoke starting to rise once more. It transformed into a few dozen flying trumpets that started to play by themselves, presenting him.

"But I thought you said your NAME was Genie…" the blonde teen pointed out.

"It is…" Genie agreed.

"So… you're Genie the genie?" It had sounded odd to the boy before, but now it just seemed silly. "Okay… so what's a genie, anyway?" Jaune asked.

"What's a genie? Wait… do you seriously not know?" Genie looked pretty shocked.

"Should I?" The blonde teen was genuinely curious about the blue man.

"Wow, I'm surprised! And that's not an easy thing to do!" Genie muttered to himself, he smiled and snapped his fingers once more.

Jaune could feel his body start to hover. He ended up landing on top of a very soft cushion that simply appeared beneath him, almost like magic…

"Okay, so, this is how it works… Genies, like myself, are beings who are able to grant wishes!" The blue man started growing to the size of a building. "I could make anyone become the most powerful person in the world!" he declared, then instantly shrunk to the size of a baby. "Or, make someone young again!" Then, he turned into a clock.

"I could even send someone back in time!" Genie turned into a treasure chest full of gems. "Or, make you rich beyond your wildest imagination!" The gems and gold spilled forth, swamping the forest in treasure.

Jaune was nearly about to drown when he heard a snap once more, all the gold disappearing in a second- as if it was never there in the first place.

"So, I could make any wish you wanted a reality! And every master who summons me gets THREE wishes!" Genie declared with pride.

"Three… wishes!?" This sounded incredible! Jaune realized that he'd just won the grand prize in life! "Then, I wish for- mm" the blonde teen mumbled, ready to blabber out his first wish when a blue finger stopped him from speaking.

"Hold your horses Kid… you didn't let me finish…" Genie smirked and spun in the air. "You are looking at a FREE genie! My last master freed me with his third wish, now I can just kick back and enjoy eternity!" A small clear glass with blue liquid and an umbrella popped into existence in his hand, he swallowed its contents. "Been doing that for the last forty thousand years or so, give or take a few…"

Wow… now this was some SERIOUS bad luck. Yes, he found a genie… but it was an EXPIRED one.

"Oh… come on, don't look so sad…" Genie glanced at the blonde, a bit of an odd look upon his face.

"That's a bit unfortunate…" the blonde muttered.

….

"Fine… you know what? I think I could, maybe, spare a SMALL wish…" Genie assured him.

"W-what?! R-really?!".

"Yep! Call it a small thank you for waking me up…" The blue genie smirked. "But, it can only be one… and there are a few rules…"

"Rules? What kind of rules?" the blonde teen parroted, sitting back down on the cushion.

"Oh, you know… the basic ones… I can't kill anyone… I can't bring the dead back to life… can't make anyone fall in love with you… those are a few of the BIG no-nos..." Genie explained.

Well, that was okay… He wasn't planning on killing anyone and forcing Weiss to fall for him was something he'd never consider.

The young blonde suddenly glanced around them, time still seemingly frozen…

"What about the Grimm?" Jaune asked.

"The Grimm?" Genie replied.

"Yeah! Could you, maybe… make them all disappear forever?" the blonde Arc asked, hope in his tone.

Genie looked to the side and rubbed his neck. "Well… that could be a bit of an issue…" He noticed the look on the blonde's face. "Not because I can't… but, if I do that, then the two brothers will come down to check on things… Trust me, you DO NOT want them back…" Genie moved closer, whispering something into the blonde's ear. "Between you and me… those guys are asses… Simply leaving you guys like this? No wonder Aqua's made fun of them for so long…"

Was he talking about THE BROTHER GODS?! They were real?!

…wait, who in the hell was Aqua?!

Should he quit trying become a huntsman and repent?!

Questions for later!

"So… What'll it be?" Genie asked again.

The blonde teen though hard for a few minutes… Then he recalled something one of his teachers had told them in class, about a war that had occurred several years ago.

What was it called again?

"I think I've got it…" Jaune suddenly declared, looking towards the floating blue genie. He was reading a book underneath an umbrella, hiding himself from a small sun hovering right above his cover.

"Finally, I've been waiting for over a week!" Genie exclaimed, closing his book in a puff of smoke.

"I've been sitting here for a week?!" the blonde yelled in surprise.

"Yeah! I mean… I stopped time and all, but yeah…" Genie shrugged and moved closer to the boy. "So… what will it be? Power? Wealth?"

"I want everyone to be happy… I know it might sound silly, but I want everyone to be equal!" the young man shouted, already looking a bit red at making such a childish wish.

"Happy and equal?" Genie verified, face serious.

"Yes?" Jaune confirmed, nodding.

"Well… at least you didn't ask to be immortal, or to travel back in time. Too many of your other incarnations tried that already…" the blue genie muttered to himself.

"What?"

"Oh, don't worry about it! So, that is your wish? Happy and equal, you said?" Genie checked again.

Jaune simply nodded for confirmation.

"Okay, not a problem!" He snapped his fingers once more, time returned to normal. "See you around, Kid!" the blue genie shouted, simply disappearing with another snap.

The blonde Arc was now alone, he blinked a few times. Genie was gone, with not a trace left behind.

Jaune strode off to meet with his friends, who were still waiting for him. Nothing seemed different about them, or anyone else… Hell, even Beacon itself was the same as always.

Had he wasted his wish?

X-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-X

The next day came, the morning sun waking up the most energetic member of Team JNPR. The rest of the team continued to sleep peacefully.

That was until there was a loud, ear-piercing shriek. The three other members of the team were ripped from their rest, Ren and Pyrrha rushing to the bathroom. Jaune fell out of bed, rubbing his eyes as he got up from the floor.

"Nora, are you alright?!" Ren bellowed, in a rare show of emotion, he opened the door without thinking and shot inside.

The first thing they saw was that their teammate was completely naked. Ren instantly covered his eyes, backing out of the room.

"Nora, what are you screaming about?! Don't worry us like that!" he chided.

"Renny, look at me!" the orangette ordered. She attempted to rush towards her partner, only to be stopped by an embarrassed Pyrrha.

"Nora! You can't come out like that! At least put some clothes on- or, at the very least, a towel!" the redheaded spartan rebuked.

"Renny, look at meeeee!" the girl whined, as she was pulled back into the bathroom by her teammate.

"Nora's usual antics?" Jaune asked, coming to a stop next to his male teammate. His eyes were barely open, he was still groggy.

"Yes… I am quite thankful for you and Pyrrha being here…" the boy replied. Both the redheaded champion and Jaune often came to his rescue, when he was overwhelmed by his childhood friend.

"I'm sure she meant well-" Jaune began to rationalize, when they heard another yell coming from the bathroom. It sounded like Pyrrha… and that was saying something, considering they'd never known her to even raise her voice.

"Pyrrha, are you okay?!" the panicked Arc questioned.

"Don't come in!" Pyrrha yelled.

"Come in! You need to see this!" came Nora's counterargument.

"Nora, put something on!"

Jaune and Ren were left to stare at one another, contemplating what to do…

Suddenly, another scream came from the hallway- no, quite a bit of screaming.

"An attack?!" Ren assumed, he glanced at his leader and headed for the door.

"Guys, something happened! Me and Ren are going to get our weapons and figure this out, find us if you can!" the blonde leader shouted, before rushing after his stoic friend.

The door popped opened and Ren stepped out first, quickly noticing that many other students had the same idea they did. 'Good… at least we stand a chance like this.'

There were no wounded, or signs of any struggle. Everyone were just yelling at one another, more shocked than angry it seemed.

The door in front of them burst open, four familiar girls exiting their room in a rush. They'd obviously heard the commotion outside and moved to investigate the situation, still in their pajamas and having no weapons.

"What is all this ruckus?!" asked the sharp voice of the young heiress who'd emerged first. Yang was right behind her, the berserker's hands balled up. She glanced left and right, attempting to spot any danger.

"Jaune! What's going on?" Ruby inquired, having poked her head out from behind her sister's back and spotting her friend and fellow leader.

"We don't know. Nora got up and started yelling, then we heard more yelling coming from the hall and came to investigate" the blonde leader admitted, suddenly noticing that Yang was staring at him.

"Um… Jaune? I know you have the whole onesie thing going on…" the blonde brawler commented slowly, she stared at his head. "…but, did you REALY have to add THAT?"

Jaune wasn't sure what Yang meant, but now he realized both Ruby AND Blake were staring at him as well. The redheaded reaper looked at him oddly, Blake was glaring a bit.

The ice queen glanced over as well, before scoffing and looking away.

"Is that supposed to be funny, Jaune?" the raven-haired girl asked, her face hardening into an angry expression.

"Huh? What do you mean?" the blonde Arc asked in confusion.

"Just take them off-" Blake darted to his side, attempting to pull something away from the top of his head.

Jaune didn't have time to question his friend before he suddenly felt a very sharp pain coming from his scalp, where Blake had started pulling. "Ah! Let go! Ow!" the blonde teen exclaimed. He grabbed her hands and pushed her away. Even after he'd done so, the pain was still strong enough to make his head throb. "Blake, what the hell?!" he shouted in outrage.

….

He didn't get a response from any of them, they all simply stared at him in shock. The blonde suddenly felt someone grab his shoulder, he glanced over to see Ren pointing at his head.

"Jaune… what's that?" he asked.

The blonde leader lifted his left hand and felt around his hair, gently… He didn't want to hurt his head, as Blake had done. Feeling around his hair, he felt something different… something soft, long and hairy.

His right hand rose up to feel a second, identical appendage on the other side of his head. Touching them felt pleasant, helping him calm down… like they were a part of his body.

"J-Jaune?" Ruby stammered, spurring him to look at her. "Are… are you a Faunus?" the young girl asked.

"What? What are you talking about?" Jaune must have misheard her, or something.

"I mean… you have ears and-" she tried to explain.

"Of course I have EARS, but I'm not a Faunus!" the blonde spoke up, the small reaper moved closer.

She pointed her scroll at his face, switching over to its secondary camera, so he could see his own head.

"W-WHAT THE HELL?!" he yelled. He grabbed the scroll, staring at two extra ears the same color as his hair. He would have thought that this was a simple prank, or an app on her scroll, if not for the fact that he could feel them… they were as much a part of his body as his hands, or legs.

He was too shocked to talk, he wasn't sure WHAT to think.

"Jaune… you don't have to worry!" Ruby reassured her first friend. "We won't tell anyone! I promise-"

"Ruby, I'm not a Faunus! I have no idea where THESE came from" he insisted, pointing at his head. The blonde boy suddenly noticed something, staring at Ruby for a moment. His hand reached forward, towards her head.

"Hey! What are you doing, Vomit Bo-" Yang moved forward to stop him… only to freeze upon watching him gently pull out what looked like an animal ear the same color as Ruby's hair, it even had a little red tip at the end.

The girl started to shiver as he did so. "T-that tickles…" she squeaked, Jaune letting go in an instant.

The blonde Arc slid back in a panic, her team surging forward. Ruby's two animal ears stood up as soon as he let them go, looking very similar to the ears a fox would have.

"Ruby!" Yang instantly hugged her sister, before she turned to the blonde boy. "WHAT DID YOU-", she stopped short when Weiss pointed at her own hair.

Panic gripped the blonde berserker, she quickly checked the top of her own head. Soon she discovered two stubs of flash there, they twitched if she tried to pull them… they were obviously a part of her as well.

Jaune stared at the girls of Team RWBY before glancing at his own teammate, only now noticing that Ren looked a little hunched over. It wasn't a lot but, for someone he knew so well, it was very noticeable. "What the hell is going on?"

"I am not sure why you three… changed so suddenly. But, if we head to the infirmary, we can possibly figure out what is going on!" Weiss concluded, glancing down the still-crowded hallway.

"Um… Weiss cream, I don't thing WE'RE the only one that need to head there…" Yang pointed towards the white-haired girl.

"Yang, we have no time for your asinine jokes! There is no way a Schnee could EVER have Faunus features…" she bit out, flipped her hair back to confirm her point.

"I wasn't talking about your HEAD…" Yang elaborated, pointing to her back. The heiress panicked and glanced over her shoulder, doing a few spins in place.

Weiss noticed something white poking from the end of her nightgown. She very shakily moved the silky fabric away… to revel a small tail with elegant, white feathers.

"What? …this-this can't be…" The small girl entered a state of shock, simply staring at her new tail.

"Weiss, calm down… Let's just go to the infirmary, we'll be able to find out what-" Ruby tried to reassure her partner, the heiress fell down to the ground.

"I-I can't… I'm a Faunus? Did Father and Mother adopt me? …has Winter known all this time?" the white-haired girl muttered to herself, adding something about a "bastard child" and "unworthy of the Schnee name".

The door to Team JNPR's room opened, two girls walking out of the dorm (Nora was finally dressed).

Pyrrha was the first to emerge… her friends able to see the two, pointy, red, fox ears she had upon her head- as well as a tail swinging behind her.

Nora herself had two small horns on her. "So… THIS is what I wanted you guys to see!" the orangette exclaimed, pointing to her head with a smirk.

Just what the HELL was going on?

X-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-X

"Good evening Vale…" greeted the clear voice of Lisa lavender on the screen, the normally human woman now sporting antlers on her head. They matched her hair well enough, and didn't look like they were bothering her.

"A certain phenomenon appeared within most of the population of Remnant, with more and more cases being reported by the hour. It sounded like a prank at first, but soon it became clear that this was a real event."

A picture appeared onscreen, one showing many different people. Some were protesting in front of city hall, while others were being interviewed by a reporter at the scene.

"Tension has risen within the community, over the possible involvement of the White Fang in what they call "an attack to destroy humanity". We've managed to receive a rare response from the leader of said organization, Sienna Khan, who claimed the group had no role in the event" Lisa explained, the image changing to show a tigress Faunus.

"The White Fang was not involved with this incident, we always sought to be a part of humanity. To walk alongside it, as equals… Not to essentially eradicate humanity, so that only Faunus remain! If we had wanted that, then we would have pursued such a goal in the last war. As things are now? The White Fang no longer has a reason to exist, as ALL of Remnant has turned into Faunus!" the leader admitted, looking exhausted and confused.

The screen changed to show Lisa once more. "Miss Khan claimed that the only group who could posses the ability to do something on this scale, and had the technology to do so, would be Atlas… We will air the full interview later this evening…"

"On the other side of Remnant, the council of Atlas has denied having any involvement… General Ironwood had this to say…" The image changed once more, showing a stern-looking man with a white beard that seemed to slip beneath his uniform.

"This has been a blatant attack by the White Fang! Only THEY could have plotted to do this, to harm humanity in such a way! Our team of experts are working, around the clock, to cure this…" He seemed to grind his teeth for a moment. "…however, it is taking longer than we anticipated. First, we needed to discover where we've been breached…"

"You were breached?" the reporter shot back, it was extraordinarily rare for Atlas to admit to something like that.

"As well as EVERY kingdom! Make no mistake, this is all a part of their grand scheme… However, Atlas will remain strong and front an attack on the White Fang!" the general declared.

"Really? How will you be able to identify the White Fang now, if you don't mind me asking?" the reporter questioned, leaning forward. "In the past, there were those who were obvious supporters or members of it. But now, with everyone looking the same… do you have a way to find that out?"

The general was quit for a moment, before staring at the camera. "We have several ways to discern that… but I shall not revel them at the moment…"

The image returned to Lisa, she smiled at the camera. "General Ironwood didn't elaborate on how to discover the culprits of this attack, but we will keep trying to get an answer out of him…"

"In the meantime we have, from Beacon Academy, Doctor Bartholomew Oobleck here with us tonight! Thank you for agreeing to meet with us, on such short notice." Lisa grinned at the green-haired man.

"It's my pleasure to be here" the man responded, smiling brightly.

"So, what do you think about this whole incident… and both Miss Khan and General Ironwood's responses?" she asked diplomatically.

"I do believe that the White Fang had no way to make this happen…" the older man admitted. "I've had time to investigate this on my own person, a few of my colleagues confirmed my discovery as well…"

"I see! What did you manage to find, if I may ask?" Lisa inquired, practically feeling her ratings raising.

"Nothing…" the man concluded, beaming.

"N-Nothing?" she parroted, stuttering a bit at the bluntness of his answer.

"Absolutely nothing!" he assured, leaning forward and elaborating. "We tried to inspect everything there was! From hair, to blood samples… tails and horns… wings and feathers. We found no difference between individuals who were originally Faunus and recently transformed humans, like myself!" the doctor exclaimed, his voice growing even more excited. "There were also no traces of any substance that could have spurred this to happen in the first place! And, even if there was… there are no discernible side effects, or a plausible vector it could use to affect the whole of Remnant simultaneously!" Bart explained. "I believe that even if all four kingdoms were working together to make this happen, it would not be possible!"

"Do you suspect it might be something else? Like, divine intervention?" the newly-minted deer Faunus asked.

The man cackled lightly. "I won't deny the possibility but, to me, it appears to be the natural progression of things… Think about it, where did Faunuskind come from?" he asked, allowing the question to linger for a moment. "The most we know is that they simply appeared one day upon the face of Remnant, what's to say that Faunus are not evolved humans? Faunus are naturally stronger, have slightly larger Aura reserves, can see in the dark, and usually share some traits with their respective animal…"

"Do you believe that people can accept that?" she asked, genuinely curious.

"I don't really think I'm the authority to tell people what to believe… However, while the situation IS as it seems, what people do depends on them… I WOULD advise that they try and get used to the new them, before making any rash decisions…" he replied, staring at the camera (as if to hammer his point home to their viewers).

"If I may ask, if it's not too rude… what can people expect their changes to be?" Lisa inquired.

"It's perfectly fine. From what we've seen concerning my fellow staff at Beacon, and the students, it seems that most cases seem to have at- the very least- two new features… These are often an extra pair of ears, or a tail. In some cases, also slightly larger- or smaller- body size. Occasionally horns, as you possess, or a mixture of these-" the man explained, continuing to elaborate.

Back at Beacon Academy the students were sitting in the cafeteria, discussing what had changed them all.

Jaune Arc stared at the big screen in the middle of the room, his head drifting to a new thought. He had discovered that he was a dog Faunus now… with an additional pair of ears he'd felt earlier, as well as a long tail (that was, even now, swaying left and right behind him).

On his right side sat his partner, and friend, Pyrrha. The redheaded girl was now a fox Faunus, with the same new features he had. Another pair of ears, along with a tail… and her tail was constantly brushing against his own. She'd apologized, claiming that she was still trying to control the new limb. …which was odd, considering he'd been able to control his own tail pretty much instantly.

Nora was now sporting a pair of small horns on her head, having declared that she was a cow Faunus. She'd also claimed her… 'assets' had grown as well, Jaune could tell…

Ren seemed to have a perpetually-hunched stance, Nora swore he was a sloth Faunus. Jaune wasn't sure he could argue with Nora, who seemed even more insistent concerning her childhood friend's new status.

Team RWBY was as affected as everyone else was…

Ruby had a pair of fox ears, as well as two fangs that had sprouted out of her mouth. The girl was busy trying to squirm away from her sister, who'd taken a new liking to her now-even-more-adorable sister.

Yang had round, stubby ears- as well as claws that extended out of her nails when she willed them to. She had been compared to a bear by Weiss and had taken a liking to it… She now called herself Mama Bear, the cringe factor was high…

Weiss had taken a really close look at herself, finding that she now had a feathery tail and what seemed to be the very tips of feathers coming out of her arms. They were still small and probably needed to grow, until they would become visible. As far as Weiss was concerned, she was a swan… Even after Yang had compared her to a pigeon, much to the heiresses annoyance.

Jaune FINALLY recalled his meeting with the blue genie… that was OBVIOUSLY responsible for this whole situation. 'Wait, so… that means "I" caused this, didn't I?' he concluded, already able to tell that this was a secret that he was going to take to his GRAVE.

Blake was still the same as always… much to everyone's surprise, maybe the change hadn't hit her yet?

The raven-haired teen suddenly stood up from her spot, having come to a momentous decision. She glanced at all of her friends, her hand rose up to her head. "I need to tell you all something!" she exclaimed, her voice serious and sharp. Blake's hand grabbed her bow and pulled it away in one, swift motion.

Two short cat ears were revealed to every one of her friends.

"I'm a Faunus…" the girl admitted, finding the courage to declare the truth to them all.

There was silence for a good ten seconds, before her partner spoke up. "Okay… and?"

"Yeah Blake… we ALL are…" Ruby added.

"No, I meant that I was a Faunus BEFORE" the cat Faunus elaborated, unwilling to hide her status anymore.

"Of course you were…" Weiss responded with a huff, her tone (and the look she gave her teammate) skeptical.

"I was!" the girl insisted, started to get angry.

"Don't worry, Kitty Cat! We ALL know you were a Faunus, before it was cool!" Yang teased.

"Don't call me that! …and I was! I'm not lying!" Blake stuck with her new nonsense over the next few days, they all simply waved the issue off.

It would take some time to get used to this new change.
