Hello and welcome to my first-ever experimental fanfic of Boku no Pico, in which a new inspiration popped into my head in an unexpected way, though making this fic isn't easy…for a few reasons…
This all started after reading some spam posts about Boku no Pico on Facebook, which many FB users respond in jest while other had ANNOYING emoticons posted, and out of curiosity I checked it on Wikipedia and found out that it was a shotacon OVA, and, again out of curiosity, I watched it on the internet and I was somewhat…stunned at seeing the hentai scenes.
Still, having watched STRAIGHT hentai anime, I guess I had to steel my resolve and watched the other two OVA episodes, and though I'm not really into Yaoi stuff, I still felt inspired to try something to make a fanfic.…
This fic is conceived after watching the 2nd episode of the OVA, in which Chico's elder sister is shown, and though her involvement is somewhat minimal, I find her…sexy, and being the sole female in this anime, I thought of reserving her for something.
In making this fic, a lot of things influenced my thoughts as the anime OVA had a bit of inconsistencies, such as the fact that Pico is prepubescent, meaning that at the first episode OVA he is said to be 11, hence biologically he hasn't reached puberty yet so I find it quite unrealistic that he reached his FIRST TIME at such an age (a boy getting arousal and reaching his FIRST TIME would happen if he reaches the age of 12). So in this story he is a 12-year old boy.
Since I'm not into doing yaoi stories I had to think of someone to pair with Pico, and there Chico's elder sister comes in, and inspired by the Onee-san x younger boy pairing from the recently-concluded anime The Mother Of The Goddess Dormitory (aka Megami-ryō no Ryōbo-kun), this pops into my head and decided to try this out.
Although this is a romance story, it'll be slow at first but will gradually get into something…complicated. Chico will also appear but will have a bit of a minimal role.

Ch. 1: Atarashī tomodachi to saisho no kaigi
The scene shifts at a country side where a blond-haired individual, who is a 12-year old boy named Pico, is traveling via a bicycle, and he finds the place quite relaxing after spending most of his time working at his grandfather's bar at the beachside, the Bebe, and though Bebe started to kick off as the bar is beginning to attract customers, it made Pico start to get busy as well due to the influx of customers who happened to pass by after spending time at the beach area.
It was several days ago when his grandfather was able to afford hiring additional help, and there Pico recalled having a conversation with his grandfather about something, which made the 12-year old mentally look back at the events taking place before passing by the countryside.
-FLASHBACK-
About four weeks ago…
At Bebe, Pico was visiting his grandfather and is quite worried that the bar hasn't been getting any customers lately and felt that his grandfather might consider closing it down, but his grandfather smiled and assured to him that things will be okay and that the bar will go on despite the perceived TRYING TIMES.
Pico just stared and wondered if things are going to be okay, and his grandfather smiled as he tells his grandson not to worry about him, saying that this is the way life goes, and said that there is no room for regrets and is happy to at least enjoy what he loved most.
"…and that's how it is, Pico-kun..."
"Oji-san…"
"What's important is that you are healthy and free from misfortune."
"…"
"So there's no point in regretting things you haven't got."
"I…"
"I am sure something good would come."
"Really…?"
It appeared that Oji-san's words ring out as suddenly, two groups of customers (consisting of five in each group) entered and asked him if they serve food and drinks that would quell the summer heat, which Oji-san nodded, and there the customers said that they would like some cold beverage.
"We would like some cold drinks, please."
"With a lot of ice."
"Yes, yes…what would you like…? Pico...take their orders…
"Ah…yes, right away…"
"We'd like a pitcher of Sprite…"
"And make sure they're cold…"
"Five bottles of Gatorade, please…"
"And be sure they're cold…"
Oji-san nodded and told his grandson to assist him as he said that they are about to get busy and said that it looks like the bar's luck is now on their side, which Pico nodded, and as Pico began to take orders from customers by writing the order on a pad paper, he noted that the customers are usually ordering soft drinks and juices that are cold.
Some even ordered food that serve as a quick snack, which fortunately the bar have some and the customers told Pico their preferred order which the younger boy nodded as he writes down what the customers ordered.
"We like this one…"
"…and that one…"
"Make sure they're not overly hot…"
"Yes…right away…"
"Oh…please add this one…"
"And a little extra…"
"And we like this one as well…"
"Yes…right away…"
By then more beachgoers came and flock the bar and Pico noted that his grandfather looked pleased, and within days the bar began to thrive, and in the succeeding days (about 14 days), his grandfather decided to hire some help as he felt that Pico deserve a break and tells him to go enjoy his summer vacation.
Pico asked his grandfather if he is sure, which his grandfather smiled and nodded, assuring his grandson that he will be just fine and told Pico that he should go and enjoy the summer experience, and there he suggested to Pico to visit the countryside area he heard of, saying that it would be a good experience for him.
"…and therefore you should go and enjoy a bit of fun…"
"But, grandfather...are you really sure about this…?
"Yes, Pico"
"But…"
"Don't worry. I already have an assistant, so I won't be overworking. Besides, you deserve an R and R since it's summer vacation at the moment."
"…"
"Its alright. You should enjoy your vacation, and there's nothing for you to worry."
"…"
Pico thought about it, and seeing that his grandfather insisted, he finally agreed and there his grandfather told him the place and which route he should take before giving him a bicycle to use, and after spending two more weeks assisting in running the bar, Pico was persuaded by his grandfather to go enjoy his vacation and assured to him that things will be okay here.
"Its okay…go on…"
"Are you sure…?"
"Yes, Pico."
"…"
"You don't have to worry about anything else."
"Okay…if you say so…"
"Good boy."
"…"
-END FLASHBACK-
As Pico continue to travel, marveling the scenery as it is a good place for nature lovers, but then as he passed by a lake, he saw a younger boy swimming, and out of curiosity he stopped and glanced at the younger boy, who happened to be two years younger than him.
The younger boy glanced at Pico and as the two talked, both got acquainted and within less than an hour the two boys became fast friends, and there the younger boy introduced himself as Chico, and from there Pico would travel the countryside and would socialize with Chico.
There Chico would show Pico some places that are ideal for nature lovers and Pico would come to appreciate the ambience of outdoor relaxation, and said that this place is definite for tourists and the likes, which Chico is unsure about.
"Really, Pico?"
"Yeah."
"Umm…I don't know…"
"Huh?"
"That would mean…more strangers, right…?"
"Its fine."
"Really…?"
"Yes, really, Chico"
When Pico would came back later to the beachside, his grandfather is pleased that his grandson made a friend and encouraged him to make more friends and enjoy his vacation time, saying that things at the bar are doing well and assured Pico that he has nothing to worry about.
"Its okay…you should enjoy…and make more friends…"
"Are you sure…? Are you going to be okay "
"Yes, Pico. I still have an assistant, so there's nothing for to worry."
"…"
"You don't have to worry about me, Pico. I'm as healthy as you can see."
"Okay…if you say so…"
"Good boy."
"…"
Nodding, Pico did what his grandfather advised him and continue going to the countryside to visit his newly-acquired friend.

One day Pico and Chico are swimming by the pond and there he learned that Chico has been living in the countryside for a year, and even discovered that he lives with his older sister, as Chico revealed that his parents were jailed since last year for an unspecified crime which was somewhat scandalous, and there Chico's older sister decided to relocate here to avoid the scandal, lie low and to spare Chico from the possible backlash from the public.
"Really…?"
"Yeah."
"I…I had no…"
"Its okay, Pico."
"Are…are you sure…?"
"Yeah."
"…"
"…"
Pico asked Chico if he is fine with it, which he nodded, saying that he doesn't seem to mind it, though deep down Pico sensed that Chico is probably too innocent to understand why Chico's elder sister brought him to the countryside, and wondered what would happen once Chico realizes the circumstances behind their parents' incarceration.
After that, Chico invited Pico to visit his house, which the latter agreed, and after putting their clothes on both boys rode the bicycle (Pico being the driver and Chico the passenger) and after several minutes the two boys arrived at Chico's home, and Pico was quite surprised to see that the house is somewhat of a two-story, not expecting it would be a bit…big.
"Welcome to my home."
"…"
"Sorry if it's a bit…"
"It looks good."
"Really…?"
"Yeah."
"Okay, Pico...follow me…"
"…"
Nodding, Pico followed Chico as the latter led him inside the house, which Pico noted that the interior of the house is simple; not too elegant or flashy. Just simple and normal, and Chico apologized if Pico finds it too plain, which the latter assured that it is okay and doesn't mind the plain-looking interior of the house.
He even said that he likes it as it would be easier for Chico and his elder sister to maintain the cleanliness of the house without the additional baggage, which Chico agreed.
"Yeah, onee-chan really likes things in a tidy fashion."
"And this would keep pests away."
"Yeah, that's right."
"Does your elder sister ever hired a cleaner to assist…?"
"No, Pico. She doesn't want to, saying that it's better that way."
"Really…?"
"Yeah."
"…"
The two boys went further entered the house and there Pico gets to see more of the house's interior, which was simple-looking yet good, making it an ideal place for a summer getaway.
By then someone came and there Chico greeted the person, whom he introduced as his elder sister, and there Chico introduced her to Pico, and there she and Pico bowed and are soon acquainted to one another, as she is glad to see that her younger brother found a friend.
"Oh, thank you. You're the first person that my brother brought here…"
"Really…?"
"Yes. Ever since moved here, Chico is somewhat…lonely…and had no friends his age…"
"I see. Sorry to…"
"Oh no…it's okay. I'm very grateful that you became Chico's friend."
"Ah, it's nothing."
"Please make yourself at home…"
"Okay."
Chico's sister then told Chico to show Pico around as she will put the groceries away and prepare food, which Chico nodded, and as he led Pico to his room to show him some stuff, Chico's elder sister, whom Pico addressed as Onee-san, glanced at Pico, and began to deduce that the blond-haired boy is about 12-years old, who is a bit taller than Chico, but still has the height of an average boy as he is somewhat shorter than her, and yet she finds him…cute.
She decided to ignore it for now and began to prepare food and several minutes later, they are at the dining area and are eating, which Onee-san is quite surprised to hear that Pico is from the beach area and is assisting his grandfather in running the beach bar Bebe, as she heard of it before.
"Bebe? As in that snackbar at the beach…?"
"Um…yeah…"
"I've heard of it before…I was told that customers seldom stopped by there…"
"True…but lately the bar started to gain customers..."
"That's a good sign, Pico...Your grandfather now has something to do this summer…"
"Yeah…"
"Now eat up…"
"Sure…"
As the trio dine and chatted, Onee-san was secretly glancing at Pico, as she finds him interesting, and felt like wanting to get to know more about him.

Hope you liked this chapter, and though based on episode 2 of the OVA, I took the liberty of adding some original plots, such as detailing how and why Onee-san and Chico are living at the countryside, why she became Chico's legal guardian, which it wasn't tackled in the OVA, and what happened to their parents…hence I came up with an idea about their parents being jailed and stuff.
It seems that Onee-san appeared to be interested in Pico, yet he is unaware, and this would set up the events that would take place in the upcoming chapters…
