"Ivy Sundew, you get home this instant and finish your chores" said Felicia.
"Mom, me and Sprig just got started. This is not fair" replied Ivy annoyed.
"Don't you tell me what's not fair, you home right now" said Felicia hanging up.
Ivy was furious that her mother ruined her plan's with Sprig yet again as she punched the tree then making Sprig fall down as she leaves, his eye's were all puppy eyed cause he love's her more even when she's mad. When Ivy was reluctantly home her mother was not pleased in the slightest.
"Thought you'd get away with it without me noticing, well you thought wrong young lady" said Felicia.
"You never let me do anything or have any bit of freedom all cause of your stupid constant lesson's" replied Ivy.
"How dare you use that tone, I've got a good right to ban you from spending time with that boy for a whole week" said Felicia.
Ivy could not believe how controlling her mother was as she was sucking the life out of her happiness and was on the verge on losing her temper, she stormed right past her and went to her room and slammed the door behind her which almost caused the plate's to smash on the floor as Felicia was livid with her daughter. Ivy threw a tantrum like she was being imprisioned from having any fun espicially with Sprig.
"Something has to be done about this, and I know who's the cause of it" said Felicia.
She placed the plate's back up on the holding place and left her home while at the Plantar house Sprig was at home with Hop Pop while Anne was out teaching Polly Muay Thai, Sprig was on the couch watching a movie on Anne's phone but she wouldn't mind.
"Hop Pop, do you think Felicia is being a bit unfair with Ivy?" asked Sprig.
"Well I don't know what goes on with what you two are doing, cause I'm blank" replied Hop Pop.
"Me and Ivy were supposed to go bug hunting for the morning but it didn't last at all, so I think it was a bit unfair" said Sprig.
A knock was then heard on their door as Hop Pop finished washing up in the kitchen and went to answer it, when he got to the door he opened it and saw Felicia infront of him. Hop Pop was taken a back to see Ivy's mother at their home and looked to see that she was not very happy and barged her way in and approached Sprig, he looked to see her coming toward's him and grabbed him by his jacket.
"I've got a bone to pick with you young man, my daughter hate's me because she want's to spend time with you. My relationship with her is fractured and I hold you responsible for this, well I'm going to deal with the problem" said Felicia.
"Hey, you can't just storm into my home and start threatening my grandson. Let him go" said Hop Pop.
"What are you talking about? I'm not the reason why thing's are going bad" said Sprig.
"Don't play dumb with me you little brat, now I must make you pay for this" replied Felicia.
"You get your hand's off my grandson right now" said Hop Pop angrliy.
"Stay out of it old man, your little troublemaker here is about to feel a painful lesson" replied Felicia.
Hop Pop was in shock being talked to like that as she then disgustingly struck Sprig in the face and threw into his grandfather who luckily broke his fall, Felicia was not done with him as he tried to escape to safety but was caught once more and pinned down.
"Get away from my blood right now" said Hop Pop trying to help Sprig.
But Felicia intercepted and kicked him back and sent Hop Pop tumbling to the floor, Sprig was horrified as he couldn't move or do anything about it as he was then being tortured. Sprig kept trying to get away but was overpowered and Felicia had his arm trapped almost bent.
"You're going to pay for turning my daughter againist me" said Felicia.
Sprig was screaming in pain as he was tapping in submission but she would not stop or release the hold, then picked him up and dragged him near the door and placed his arm inbetween it and the frame. Felicia unmercifully slammed the door where he was defenseless and the force was so impactful that Sprig was screaming in agony on the floor.
"Problem solved, let that be a lesson" said Felicia with no remorse.
As she left out of sight Hop Pop very worringly rushed to his grandson and he was not able to move his right arm at all, he was so concerned that Felicia may very well have shattered his arm. Sprig tried to stay still but the pain was so bad he couldn't even use his hand, Hop Pop was so enraged on what she did he was about to explode.
"That women is going to pay for what she has done, I have to inform Anne what's happened" said Hop Pop.
But before he goes to find her he so very carefully picked up Sprig and put him on the couch and wrapped his injured him in a heavy bandage and gave him a kiss, then he rushed out to find Anne as his grandson was then out cold trying to recover after what just took placed.
"I'll be back soon Sprig, just rest up as much as you can" said Hop Pop running into the swamp.
Meanwhile Anne was still in the middle of her lesson's to Polly then Wally who appeared to have been watching joined in and all three were practicing their move's like training, then Hop Pop sprinted by and bumped into everyone causing them to fall.
"Whoa HP, what's the fire? It's like something bad has happened" said Anne.
"It's terrible, Sprig was attacked in our own home" replied Hop Pop.
"What?! By who" asked Polly.
"Felicia Sundew that's who" replied Hop Pop.
The girls were completely shocked of what they were hearing what happened to their best friend and brother and at the same time were angry wanting to do something about this cause it was not going to sit well with any of them.
"Where is he HP?" asked Anne.
"He's still at home on the couch resting, he need's everyone right now" said Hop Pop.
"Go Anne, I'll try and inform the town" said Wally.
"Thank's Wally, come on guys" replied Anne.
And with that they ran through back where Hop Pop came from while Wally made his way into main town to alert the other frogs, once they were back at the farm entered through the main door and saw Sprig to their left still sleeping and resting. Hop Pop approached his injured grandson and gently shook his other good arm.
"Sprig buddy, can you hear us?" asked Anne.
"Come on big bro, wake up" said Polly.
He was moaning and slowly opening his eyes and realised that he was on the couch on his back like he couldn't move, then turned to his right and saw his family deeply worried for him. Sprig reached his hand out to Anne as she lightly held it in her's as Hop Pop put his on his arm and Polly hugged his neck.
"Dude are you okay?" asked Anne.
"I've been better Anne" replied Sprig.
"Hop Pop told us what happened, Felicia Sundew did this to you? Why?" asked Polly.
Sprig tried to sit up as his family helped him trying not to make his immobile right arm any worse, they looked at him so sad and upset and didn't blame him one bit as he didn't deserve any of what was dealt. Anne still held Sprig very gently close to her as his grandfather and sister were at his other side.
"Cause she thinks I was the problem with her problem's with Ivy, then just attacked me unmercifully" Sprig explained.
"What?! This is not going to stand and she's not going to get away with this" said Anne about to walk out the door.
"Anne wait, where are you going?" asked Hop Pop.
"What does it look like? She's not getting away with trying to cripple my best friend, Felicia totally crossed the line and now i'm going to get payback for Sprig. Stay here and take care of him while I go and deal with the problem" said Anne.
She straight away then zoomed out to find Felicia as Hop Pop tried to stop her but she was already gone and was right on one thing, he had to take care of his hurt grandson. Hop Pop could only hope that Anne doesn't end up like Sprig and stayed to look after him.
"This might not end well" said Polly.
"You could be right Polly, but Anne's right. Something has to be done and I can only hope that she or someone can stop Felicia from doing this again" replied Hop Pop looking out the window.
Anne was storming her way back through the swamp and she was furious over her best friend being treated like that and certainly didn't take this lightly, once she was in the main town she looked for the tea house looking building and then found it.
"Mess with my family huh? Now you're going to feel what you did to Sprig" said Anne approaching the place.
Inside when Ivy found out that her own mother of all people put her hand's on her boyfriend and partner she was beside herself and rightly so, but does not realise that an angry Anne was heading her way.
"How could you stoop so low to do something unforgivable? Don't you realise that his friend Anne will find out about this and do something she certainly won't forget, or are you going to target her next? said Ivy so mad.
"I did what I had to do and now that little problem is dealt with and will never interfer in Sundew buisness again" replied Felicia.
Then outside Anne was a few inches by the door and now it was about to get personal as she kicked it in as Felicia turned round to look to see indeed it was Sprig's best friend not happy in the slightest as Anne entered inside and looked ready to fight.
"Felicia Sundew, how dare you lay your hand's on my buddy Sprig. Now you're going to feel his pain" said Anne.
"Told you she'd find out, I hope Anne kick's your butt for your actions" said Ivy.
"Shut your little mouth missy, I'll deal with you later. This is nothing to do with you Boonchuy so just leave and go back to your poor family who can't do anything right" replied Felicia.
Anne was not going to stand for this anymore and lunged straight at her and grabbed Felicia by the throat and threw her into the wall, Ivy was actually cheering Anne on to teach her own mother a lesson. But as she went for another Felicia kicked her back and tackled her to the ground and tried to hit her in the face but luckily the teenage girl rolled out the way and delivered a kick of her own and sent Ivy's mother flat on her back.
"Thought you'd get away with it huh? Well you are so mistaken" said Anne.
"It's you who made a big mistake brat" replied Felicia.
As she got back up and uppercutted Anne in the chin then kicked her in the stomach sending her flying almost back out the entrance where the door was, Ivy tried to intervene to help Anne but was stopped by Felicia and shoved her own daughter back into the corner.
"Trying to take her side, well I can't believe I raised such an disrepectful child" said Felicia.
This slight distraction gave Anne enough time to recover and stormed up and charged at her and knocked into her back then got a piece of wood and tried swinging it but Felicia was a bit too quick and dodged it at the last second and kicked it out of Anne's hands to the floor.
"You can't win Boonchuy, give it up and accept it" said Felicia.
"In your dreams, I will never surrender or quit" replied Anne.
This just only made her more mad and once more took down the human girl and just rained down fist's on her face while Ivy was getting back up and saw what was happening and rushed to try and help Anne one more time by headbutting her mother off her and checking to see if she's alright.
"Anne, are you okay?" asked Ivy helping her up.
"I think so, but it's quite clear your mom want's to put me in the same position as Sprig" replied Anne.
"Don't worry, I'm on your side. I'll try my best to protect you" said Ivy.
Felicia overheard that and was infuriated about it and tried to go for her own daughter but luckily she was stopped by Anne and gave a punch back and now they were outside the building with Ivy following behind. But Felicia was still defiant and went to drastic length's as now had the piece of wood that Anne once had and as she was walking to her Felicia hit her over the head with it and fell to the ground and was almost out of it as suddenly most of the town were in shock witnessing this.
"I warned you not to get involved in this but you just wouldn't listen, now you've turned my own againist me. You're about to join that little brat on the injured list" said Felicia raising the wood up.
Ivy had to stop it fast or indeed it was going to be the case and made an attempt to unarm her mother but she yanked it out of her grip and pie faced her to the dirt, then turned back to Anne who was still down again holding the plank up high and was about to finish her until Mayor Toadstool quickly acted and the cop's were their just in time and tackled Felicia to the ground and slapped the cuffs on.
"I am not having this in my town and now it's time to deal with it myself, boy's take her away" said Toadstool.
"You're a poor excuse of a mayor, this is how you treat your people? I hope you lose it in the worse way possible" said Felicia being removed from everyone's sight and taken away.
"Get her out of here" replied Mayor Toadstool.
While Felicia was then out of the picture Anne was still out cold not realising her life was just possibly saved as Ivy was at her side on her knees trying to attend and help, she gently turned her over on her back to see their was a couple of cuts on Anne's face. Hop Pop, Sprig and Polly appeared out the blue and were too at her other side.
"Oh my frog Anne, Ivy is she alright?" asked Sprig.
"I don't know, I was about to check until you guy's showed up" replied Ivy.
Hop Pop thankfully had his aid kit knowing Anne might get herself seriously hurt and started to treat the girl's scars and cuts, Sprig could not believe it would come to this point or more or less trying to end his best friend. Hop Pop applied some healing cream and rubbed it in to let it absorb and wrapped her arm in a bandage.
"Anne please be okay, wake up please" said Sprig worringly.
"Come on girl" said Ivy in concern.
Then moaning was heard as Anne was coming back to as she very slowly began to sit up and held her head in pain, once opening her eyes she looked to see her family to her right and Ivy to her left all breathing a big sigh of relief. Sprig used his good arm to gently hug his bestie knowing Anne was now safe, Hop Pop, Polly and Ivy did the same but one at a time and once they pulled away she gave her head a light shake and then had most of her bearing's back.
"Thank you so much Anne for standing up for us, you're a true hero" said Ivy.
"That mean's a lot, thanks" replied Anne.
"But who's going to take care of Ivy now? She can't be by herself" asked Sprig.
"Well I suppose we don't have any other choice, we'll take her in" said Hop Pop.
Everyone was pleased with the decision but they couldn't hug him cause Anne and Sprig were still hurt from the beating that was inflicked on them, but just gave a beaming smile while Ivy could embrace him and just hugged the old frog.
"You won't regret it Mr Plantar, I'll even help look after and care for Sprig and Anne while their healing up" said Ivy.
"Well come on then, let's all go back home" replied Hop Pop.
Sprig leaned on Ivy to keep him upright most of the way back while Hop Pop did the same with Anne as they took her time not to make their current condition any more worse, after a little while they were back to the Plantar household and once entered Anne and Sprig were placed on the couch.
"Alright, now that's over. If Ivy is going to be staying with us they'll be the same rule's like I did for Anne when she got here" said Hop Pop.
"I know how it works, don't worry. My main priority is getting these two back to 100%" replied Ivy.
"One more thing, Ivy you'll be staying with Sprig in his room cause their's no other room in the house" said Hop Pop.
Sprig looked at his girlfriend and was over the moon knowing he was never going to be alone for definite now, not only will he have his best friend Anne but now his partner to keep him company as Ivy leaned toward's him and gave Sprig a kiss making him bluss.
"Well good alway's comes out at the end, and over evil" said Anne.
"Couldn't have put it better myself" replied Sprig.
Everyone then quickly adjusted to Ivy now being with them and giving her a better life that she needs unlike her out of control mother who was now held in custody by the Wartwood police, but now they can have peace and the bond between everyone was more stronger than ever and end the day on a high note.
